The War On Cancer Podcast is hosted by the War On Cancer app co-founders, CEO and cancer survivor, Fabian Bolin, and COO, Sebastian Hermelin. The podcast seeks to address the parts of cancer that are often not discussed in a medical or healthcare setting, with episodes exploring mental and physical health, emotional issues, relationships and day-to-day living during and after cancer treatment - for someone directly affected by cancer but equally as much for loved ones. Through interviews with leading experts in the cancer space Fabian and Sebastian aim to explore the topics that are often shied away from or overlooked. Cancer shouldn’t be uncomfortable to talk about and the guys aim to destigmatize going through cancer by talking about it and learning about cancer together with their listeners.

Fabian, Sebastian and Martin address why it's usually harder for men to speak and openly talk about their cancer diagnosis and why we need to challenge dated masculinity norms that harm our mental health.Dr Martin Inderbitzen studied Neurobiology at the ETH Zürich and did his PhD in Neuroscience at the University Pompeu Fabra on the topic of stress, emotions, and mindset. He also studied film production at Blake College London and worked as a digital content creator for several years. In 2012, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Based on this personal experience, he founded My Survival Story, a digital storytelling initiative to support patients and relatives to cope better with their disease. It's five years since Fabian was diagnosed with leukaemia, blood cancer.
