Born in Boston, MA to French parents, Joseph-Philippe started drawing at the age of 3 after he lost hearing in both ears as the result of a high fever. In his early years, Joseph-Philippe took up photography at Brooks School in North Andover. He's done commercial photography and worked for magazines and newspapers, as well as printing for well-known photographers. His photographs has been exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide and in many private and corporate collections.
