As the publisher of the 24-issue fanzine Lonny Jr., Paul McComas started writing about monsters before he was even a teenager, and he's still writing about them now. Creighton Tull Chaney left us July 12, 1973, and he left so many classic films behind for us to remember him by. This week's guest was such a fan of the work of Creighton, aka Lon Chaney, Jr., that he started a fanzine called Lonny Jr....before he was even a teenager! Paul McComas has been affected by Chaney's work throughout his life, and just recently released the short novel Fit for a Frankenstein (co-authored by Greg Starrett) which visits the classic Frankenstein's Monster during a time when it was portrayed by Lon Chaney, Jr. Paul is also a filmmaker, a public speaker, a teacher, and an advocate of RAINN, and has graciously taken some time to chat with us here at Monster Kid Radio.
