Welcome back to Busy Kids Love Music! In today's episode, we're celebrating the blossoming beauty of spring with classical music inspired by flowers! This episode is the perfect follow-up to our April Showers adventure, and it's all about music that captures the feeling of blooming gardens, delicate petals, and peaceful springtime scenes.
Spring is here, and things are getting rough. T.S. Eliot called April "the cruelest month,” and honestly, he had a point. After a long, cozy winter of emotional hibernation, spring forces us to feel things again. Today, Chicago comedian and part-time Russian dance expert Dan Cass joins us to explore the hilarious side of a world that's struggling. Should we start an OnlyFlans? A nude comedy show? Honestly, it's getting desperate. Let's find out.
With the April Showers theme behind us, it is naturally time to bring on the May Flowers! Sam Also has never seen The Happening. She doesn't even know what the happening is within The Happening! This is gonna be so good you guys.

“Buildings Burn, People Die, But Real Love is Forever!”We're closing out April Showers in unforgettable fashion—with a rain-drenched, emotionally charged 90s classic that's also one of Henrique's all-time favorite films. Join Henrique and David as they descend into the stormy streets of Detroit for a tale of loss, vengeance, and gothic heroism in 1994's The Crow. Directed by Alex Proyas and starring Brandon Lee, Michael Wincott, and Ernie Hudson, this supernatural action film tells the story of musician Eric Draven, who returns from the grave exactly one year after he and his fiancée were murdered—to seek justice as the vengeful spirit known only as The Crow.

In this episode we'll look at a rain chance over the weekend. We've also got a drop in temperatures coming. What is temperature anyway? We'll delve into that.
We are tracking rather seasonable weather for the final weekend in April, with some showers likely moving through the region Sunday afternoon.
The weather has been playing with hearts here in LA. There was one week in April that teased us with some warm sunshine, but just as soon as we all reached for our sunblock and shorts, last week rolled in with dreary clouds and a chilly breeze. With all the back and forth, it's hard to keep your mood up. We all know that weather impacts our mental health. Waking up to clear skies and a shining sun can set a positive tone for the rest of the day. Everything seems brighter. But cloud cover with zero chance of rain can have you feeling that there is no point getting out of bed. Today on AirTalk, we hear from listeners about how the weather impacts their moods. Also joining us is Kim Meidenbauer, assistant professor of psychology at Washington State University. Are you happy and more productive when the sun is shining? Or does it make you not want to go to work at all? Do you embrace the rain and seize the day even when the sky is grey? Or feel melancholy as the clouds hang overhead? We want to hear from you! Give us a call at 866-893-5722. Or email us at atcomments@laist.com.

Gia-Raquel Rose, owner of Airs Above Yoga, LLC and a real estate sales associate in Tewksbury, New Jersey has had a love for horses stemming from early childhood. Growing up in “horse country” afforded her the privilege of beginning to ride from the tender age of four. It was a childhood illness, which brought her riding aspirations to an abrupt halt. It took twenty years before she was able to reunite with her long lost passion for horses and their ability to heal. In that time, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication from Arcadia University and became a twice two hundred hour certified yoga instructor in both Hatha and Vinyasa. It was the loss of her mother, Rose, to breast cancer, which ultimately shifted her trajectory from the corporate world to the internal work for which yoga, as a practice, is renowned.
