It's time to check out one of Marvel's takes on the classic Frankenstein Monster!
"McDougal!!!"Merry Christmas to all of the travelers of the Borgo Pass Horror Podcast. Santa's gift for us all is arguably the most popular classic horror film - Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein. This is truly a cornerstone of the classic horror fanbase, and deservedly so. Made in 1948, we see Bela Lugosi's Dracula, Lon Chaney, Jr.'s The Wolf Man, and Glenn Strange's Frankenstein Monster for one last time. Join Jim & Livio this Christmas for the first half of this film, it's legacy, the actors, the production, and so much more!
Jim reflects on the last film in the Universal Frankenstein/Dracula Universe - "House of Dracula" starring Lon Chaney Jr, Onslow Stevens, John Carradine, Glenn Strange, Martha O'Driscoll, Lionel Atwill, Jane Adams, and Skelton Knaggs. Dr. Eidelman (Stevens) known for helping those with unique problems, draws the interest of Dracula and Larry Talbott for relief from their respective curses. Throw in the Frankenstein Monster and you have a full set. Find out more about this 1945 classic on this episode MONSTER ATTACK!, The Podcast Dedicated To Old Monster Movies.

This week, the Frankenstein Monster does his most monstrous deed yet: he invites us to attend his one-man show. (One-monster show?) But it's good actually? We've certainly never seen anything like this before as the Creature monologues at us for a full 90 minutes, and it's pretty compelling. Join us in the abandoned church for some Very Serious Theatre! From the studio that brought you Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan, comes one of the most bizarre movies ever made: Frankenstein Conquers the World, aka Frankenstein vs. Baragon (1965). The plot? You ready for this?…. After the Nazis steal the heart of the Frankenstein Monster, they transport it to Hiroshima, where the nuclear bomb mutates the heart into a 65-foot giant, who battles a subterranean dinosaur… __________ Taylor Zaccario…Host, Director, Producer, Writer Nick Zaccario…Host, Director, Producer, Editor
If this week's movie isn't a Frankenstein story, it is at the very least a Frankenstein Monster of a story, mashing Faust, Picture of Dorian Gray, Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, and (yes, even) Frankenstein together into something that's also kind of the Rocky Horror Picture Show? It's the best kind of crazy mess. Join us at the Paradise where you definitely (probably) won't get attacked by a vengeful Phantom in a spooky bird mask. Please rate, review, and tell your fiends. One thing to notice today is a news story in Politico about how the anti-abortion movement is scheming to turn the Republican party and ultimately all of America against in-vitro fertilization. What's amazing is that this is actually just the latest result of an intentional cynical, carefully calculated project begun in secret 50 years ago, it's sort of a Frankenstein monster of political power that's changed the face of America. And since it's broken lab containment, I may continue to affect all of us for decades to come. ***This mini-episode is part of a pilot project to try short, daily, focused episodes focusing on one key idea, number, or news item. We really want to know what you think of it. You can answer the poll question (on Spotify), or email us at matt.beyondpoliticspodcast@gmail.com.***

Dan and Josh attempt... several times to complete an episode in which we review the first round of the USL League One playoffs; the scores, the stats, and the performances. We thought we'd start sharing the first few minutes of our Patreon episodes here on the main feed to give everyone a taste of what you can expect if you join us at patreon.com/thefrankencast. We're back with more Munsters! As we get so close to the end of season one, we get nods to two other classic Universal Monsters, first with the surprise appearance of the literal Creature From the Black Lagoon (TM), aka Uncle Gilbert, and then with Herman being confused as a mummy, a nice nod to Boris Karloff, who originally played the Frankenstein Monster and the Mummy. We also get some rough Marilyn stuff, but we should really be used to that by now.
Nicholas Tana, CEO of Smart Media, discusses how movies are a manufactured product going through the same disruptive technological evolution as manufacturing itself, to the extent that the Hollywood Studio System may fade into history. In this chapter we look at the last stand of the Universal monsters, the chapter of the saga where the Count, the Frankenstein Monster, and the Wolf Man meet up at the House of Dracula (1945)!
GUEST HOST: Sheila Gunn Reid Romana Didulo is the Frankenstein Monster stitched together by the likes of the mayor of Peterborough, Diane Thierren and other unfeeling lockdownist politicos who drove people to the edge. Thierren can't be upset that her creature is trundling around the town, frightening the villagers. GUEST: Rebel News reporter Jeremy Loffredo joins us tonight to update us on the fight one Amish farmer from Pennsylvania has with the government for the right to sell his produce to whomever he wishes and how you can support the farmer.
HOUR 4: Lou, Mego, and Mut continue to sort through reports coming out of the Patriots first joint practice. The show wonders if fans will see the starters actually play in the second preseason game. Plus, can this apparent mix of the old Patriots offense mixed with some Shanahan style work?
From Rodney King, to OJ Simpson, to Trayvon Martin, to George Floyd, to Will Smith, black Americans, have been targeted to play the role of "The Golem" a mythical creature formed out of clay and animated with the spirit of breath, to do the bidding of it's kabbalistic creator. Once the Golem has achieved it's goal, it does not stop. It cannot be stopped. It can and will destroy everything.
Dr. Frankenstein creation was put together with used body parts from corpses that were buried in a graveyard. The head was that of a criminal who was just executed for his crimes by hanging and the brain used was referred to as abnormal. (It was from a murderer) The perfect head (maybe) and the brain they needed. Well suppose that brain wasn't that of a criminal. Suppose it was the brain of a college graduate who was wrongly executed. Suppose the brain was from a father of three with an IQ of 140. Suppose the head was from a handsome Brad Pitt looking fellow that all the girls just went crazy for. This would make quite a story and today Dr. Frankenstein would be on the cover of Time Magazine showing off his newly created friend. I have created a lesson plan for you to use with this podcast and would encourage you if you are a teacher or maybe even a parent to solicit some answers and try and determine how your student's or children would deal with the differences associated with a laboratory creation today. Or, as I like to call it, "The Frankenstein Monster of Oz". The Tin Woodman joins forces with the Scarecrow and a young lad called Woot the Wanderer, embarking on a journey to find his lost Munchkin lover, Nimmie Amee. This proves to be a rather difficult task when they encounter a Tin Soldier with the same intentions and have to escape the clever magic of Mrs. Yoop the Yookoohoo. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
In 1818, the world was introduced to the Frankenstein Monster. Frankenstein's creation was assembled from old body parts and strange chemicals and animated by a spark. Mary Shelly's monster has taken on numerous incarnations through the years, spawning comics, TV shows and never-ending supply of movies. The story of a scientist who creates a horrible monster using electricity has largely been thought of as a cautionary tale, but perhaps Mary Shelly was ahead of her time in understanding the role electricity plays in keeping the human body healthy. We've come a long way since 1818 in our understanding of how the human body uses energy. But how has that knowledge helped us shape practical tools to improve overall health. The answer is PEMF, or pulsed electromagnetic field.Stay tuned for this one – it's electrifying.Click here to find out more information on BEMER PEMFFREE E-BOOK: The 4 Pillars of Epigenetic Change HEREFollow Complete Human on Instagram & FacebookTo connect with Janna Breslin click HERETo connect with Evan DeMarco click HERERead more on the Complete Human website
When Bruce Dern showed up at The Actors Studio, Lee Strasberg told him he was going to be their Frankenstein Monster and Elia Kazan told him “you're not into acting, you're just into being.” But they also told Bruce he would never be a leading man and no one would know who he is until his 60s. It was the start of a career that spanned hundreds of movies, TV shows and plays, and shows no signs of letting up. Bruce goes through all of it with Marc, including his experiences working with legends, shooting John Wayne in the back, being friends with Jack Nicholson, and finally becoming that leading man with a breakthrough performance at age 79.
