Preserved, Cleaned, Digitized, Restored, Enhanced and Curated by Listen with IrfanListen, 42 years ago, at a Kavi Sammelan in Jaunpur UP, when Ajay Kumar invited Ramji Rai to the stage to recite his poetry, it was a moment to remember. Stage hosting / Compering is an art that today's anchors wouldn't understand. Even after all these years, I'm amazed hearing this line. Ajay Bhai said, “Now I call upon Ramji Rai. Ramji Rai is a research scholar in Allahabad. You've seen how brilliant he is there. And what kind of poems he's writing, you'll see here…”This recording came to my mind for a reason—it's Ramji Bhai's birthday today, and Ajay Bhai's immortal presence will live on among us in this form too.Listen with Irfan (LwI)A tapestry of voices and stories, spun with careSupport LwI — a soulful creation shaped by affection, thriving on the warmth of its listeners. Night of the Comet (1984)Directed By: Thom EberhardtStarring: Catherine Mary Stewart, Kelli Maroney, Robert Beltran, Juliet Lewis' dadI think it's safe to say that the 1984 classic film Night of the Comet is a cult classic in some ways. It blends multiple genres like Sci-Fi, Horror and Comedy into the story of two girls who've survived Earth's apocalyptic journey through the tail of a comet. IMDB describes Night of the Comet thusly: "A comet wipes out most of life on Earth, leaving two Valley Girls fighting against cannibal zombies and a sinister group of scientists."We Also Talked About:Adjust your Tracking (Tubi)Chickenhawk: Men Who Love Boys (Daily Motion)Down and Dirty Duck (Internet Archive)Fritz the Cat (Internet Archive)The Video Dead (Tubi)The Video Dead ReviewGlow: The Full Story of Glow (Tubi)Kijite: Forbidden Subjects (Tubi)Like what you hear here?
