Fred Rosser was known as "Darren Young" during his time in WWE.  During that tenure, he was part of one of the hottest factions of its time in The Nexus, became a Tag Team Champion as part of the "Prime Time Players", and even was a protoge of former WWE Champion, Bob Backlund. Most notably, Rosser would become known as the first openly gay WWE Superstar who was active during his career - a distinction he still treasures to this day. Mike McGuire sat down with Fred before a Dungeon Wrestling show in Calgary, Alberta recently.  Nowadays, in addition to wrestling, Rosser is Head Coach for New Japan Pro Wrestling's Los Angeles Dojo, the NJPW Academy. The two talk about his history in The Nexus, John Cena's role in his career, his positive outlook despite some personal struggles and even a dubious happening in Montreal that he was an inadvertent part of. A new film which chronicles the life of Gertrude Elizabeth Vachon, known best to pro wrestling fans as Luna Vachon, has made its national premiere in Canada on HollywoodSuite.ca The documentary, which nears two hours, is a heartfelt and harrowing story of one of the most dynamic and interesting pro wrestlers of her time. Director, Filmmaker and Pro Wrestler, Kate Kroll, sought out to tell Luna's deeper story than what may already be known to some fans.  From her family's groundbreaking influence in Canadian pro wrestling, to her own ahead-of-her-time presentation and style, Kate joins Celebrate Wrestling's Mike McGuire to talk about the process, the effort and the passion that went into making this film a reality. To set the table, famed Author, historian, and journalist Greg Oliver joins the show to discuss his involvement.  After being approached by Kroll, you'll hear how the story seemed to want to tell itself.  With these two helping steer the ship, you may learn a little more about one of wrestling's most underrated women.    

John Cena has wrestled his last match... ever.  The Saturday Night's Main Event broadcast brought in some respectable numbers, some big name guests, and a LOT of money to WWE.  The forever long debate begins as to whether or not it was the "right" way to finish off his historic career.  We dive into that a bit with your feedback, and The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer also offers his thoughts. Meet Jordan Clarke.  At one time, he was a dominant force on the Alberta independent wrestling scene, known as both "Dirty Dick Raines" and "Dirty Duke Durrango". Duke came up in the original Hart Dungeon.  From a treadmill that resembled a torture device, to getting stretched and learning "strong style" from Bruce Hart himself, Duke is part of a class of wrestlers that were influential on many wrestlers who are still active on the independent scene today, promote their own shows, or have even gone on to become worldwide celebrities. Duke joins Mike for a trip down memory lane, including being there when WWE's Natalya - or Nattie Neidhart, first came into the infamous Dungeon before becoming one of the most revered women in the ring.  They also share stories about what it was like to REALLY train in the Dungeon, saving young wrestlers (and ring announcers) from themselves, and MUCH more.
