With only four episodes left of our podcast, the Bashir-naissance comes to a conclusion with this classic season 4 episode. In this one, we spend some time exploring the good doctor’s morality, his arrogance, his strengths, and his flaws, through the story of a planet on which all inhabitants are born with a fatal illness. It’s a heavy Star Trek episode, and Ghibli Minute’s Richard Dunham joins the team for the first time to hash it out. Along the way, they’ll also discuss their thoughts on the new trend of live action Disney movies, one of the all-time best Quark moments that starts this episode, Michael Stipe, a stellar set of Trek Check episodes, and so much more. Stay tuned to the end to hear a special announcement from Jack, and to discover how the RTW crew escapes their own terrifying encounter with the Blight. And, of course, to hear the FINAL DABO WHEEL SPIN!!!! With only three episodes left, time is running short! The crew plans on making somewhat big productions out of the final three, so they may be moving to a two-week schedule - at least until the show is over. But the end of DS9 is not the end for us! Send us your thoughts, your ideas, your requests, and anything else you’d like to hear us discuss on our retrospective RTW! Share with us what RTW has meant to you! We will read every email on air! reopeningthewormhole@gmail.com

Jack's Silly Little Friendly Neighborhood Star Trek Discovery Podcast
Well, it took a while but it’s finally here! The season finale of Star Trek: Discovery has come and gone, but not Jack’s Silly Little Friendly Neighborhood Star Trek Discovery Podcast! In fact, to celebrate (?) this momentous occasion, Jack has made some phone calls and managed to gather together every single guest that has appeared on the podcast to date for a massive STD orgy! That’s right, old pal and JSLFNSTDP mainstay Barm, Ferengi/Mycelial Network expert Kregg Castillo, Jack’s ApeCast co-host Geoff Clarke, his Reopening the Wormhole co-hosts Sam Stovold and Kevin Young, and Ghibli Minute co-host Richard Dunham all drop by to witness the epic struggle between Continuity Carlos and his Mirror counterpart, say “T’Kuvma” a lot, describe the gritty Jetsons reboot the world needs right now, and just chat about the future of the mycelial network, Klingon penises, Twin Peaks, the Enterprise, about what works and what doesn’t in Discovery, what’s gonna happen on this podcast until season 2, and attempt to describe the entire show so far in one word. Once you enter Mr. T’Kuvma’s house, you’ll never want to leave! T’KUVMA!
Jack's Silly Little Friendly Neighborhood Star Trek Discovery Podcast
It’s FINALLY here! This week two new guests join Jack and his ApeCast co-host Geoff – Kevin Young of Reopening the Wormhole and Richard Dunham of the Ghibli Minute podcast! It’s a podcast co-host extravaganza, and you better believe Carlos is taking notes! It’s going down as they all dish on the big Ash Tyler/Voq revelations, nerd out about Andorians and Tellarites, once again try to make sense of the Mirror Universe, argue about whether Dr. Doom is more of a Spider-Man or a Fantastic Four villain, nominate Turbo Vader as top Star Wars villain, have a Michelle Yeoh love-fest, spend a surprising amount of time talking about Star Trek: The Animated Series, and go in depth on their opinions of Discovery’s strengths and weaknesses. It’s one of the biggest, most BADASS episodes of this podcast so far, and that’s saying a LOT.
