Tonight please join us as we christen the season with our predictions. Jon Johnston, Greg Mehochko and Minnie Hunt will be our panel as well as you our Chatterfields sharing all of our hope and dreams for this football season. Also, we got a new Tight End to discuss, Mac Markway transfer from LSU. He has already been practicing with the team and we will find out if he is actually going to be on the roster to play this season. Mac was one of the highest rated players out of Missouri for the 2023 class. While at LSU he playd in 12 games, started once. He caught 3 passes for 16 yards and had 1 Touchdown against Georgia State. We will also discuss the depth chart for the Husker Football Season. We know who the starters are, were there any suprises or concerns? What about the 2's and 3's? Blackshirts got handed out this week as well. One of the best traditions of our beloved Husker Season. These guys are our pride and joy and tonight we will honor them. Lastly, lets talk about that team from way down south, the one that some might have written off as easy W. UTEP will be our first game of the season this Saturday in Lincoln. There head coach Scotty Walden will not give us an easy win, in fact they are coming to town with something to prove. All this and lots more tonight. Please be here and help us christen this Husker Season. GBR!
It's another episode of the Five Heart Podcast. Let me just say - God Bless Jon. Hi friends. It's Greg Mehochko here. Founder and host of the Five Heart Podcast. I was not able to be on the show this week as with about 10 minutes to show time, one of my not-yet-two-year—old twins was just losing his ever loving mind. I couldn't make a sound without him screaming, and that wouldn't have made for a very fun show for you. With almost no time to spare, I pleaded in the CN Slack for anyone to step in my place. No one was available on such short notice. So this episode is a two-character show - Jon Damn Johnston and the viewers feeding him comments and questions. Among the topics discussed are Huskers declaring for the draft, a little bit more on recruiting, and the upcoming bowl games. I've said it before and I'll say it again, doing this show live is probably the most fun version of the show. But that means it's not as flexible on the recording day/time as it used to be. So we appreciate you stepping in and being there for Jon when I could not be. GBR. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

I apologize in advance as I had to call an audible this week. My scheduled co-host couldn’t be on the show and it was late in the game, so I decided to record a quick show alone. Since it is Wrestling with the 80s, I decided to follow up on a show Greg Mehochko and … Continue reading My 1-2-3 Cents Episode 275: Wrestling with the 80s → The post My 1-2-3 Cents Episode 275: Wrestling with the 80s appeared first on Jittery Monkey Podcasting Network.

This week’s podcast is important to me for a couple of reasons. First, it’s the five year anniversary of My 1-2-3 Cents the podcast. It was on Dec. 9, 2014, that the ‘pilot’ episode dropped. Huge thanks to everyone who listens as well as to Greg Mehochko for inviting me to be a part of … Continue reading My 1-2-3 Cents Episode 264: The Curly Shuffle → The post My 1-2-3 Cents Episode 264: The Curly Shuffle appeared first on Jittery Monkey Podcasting Network.
It may seem hard to believe, looking at a 16-point loss to #15 Wisconsin, but there was improvement in this game. The offensive line looked competent, and because of that, Dedrick Mills had a break-out performance, racking up 188 yards against a stout defense. And Adrian Martinez looked better than he has most of the season. In this week’s Over Reaction, Greg Mehochko, Jon Damn Johnston, and Nate McHugh talk about the good and the bad that continues to plague the Huskers. And since there was one Husker W this weekend in men’s athletics, we also talk a few minutes about Nebrasketball. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Hi friends. Greg Mehochko, Corn Nation Podcast Manager here. This morning, we're going to entertain you with great post-game commentary from Jon Damn Johnston, Husker Mike, and Zack Grunder, as they talk about the overwhelming disappointing outing in West Lafayette yesterday. I'll be honest. I don't know what to make of this season anymore. I hate to have an apathetic attitude towards Husker football. That's not how I am. That's not how Husker Nation is. And I'd be lying if I said it was anything more then your undying loyalty that drew me in to Husker fandom in the mid-00's, the Bill Callahan era, when things weren't going right but we always felt like the ship would be righted, the course corrected. And I STILL feel like those things will happen. I feel like Scott Frost is the guy to get Nebraska Football back on track. Because as we've stated before on Corn Nation, if we run off Scott Frost, do we really think any other coach will come to Lincoln? We ride with Frost, hell or high water. But after the Purdue game, where defensive weaknesses were exploited in the same way they were against Indiana, I do wonder if we have to endure 5+ more years of Scott Frost's ENTIRE staff. I haven't listened to this episode yet. I will. It will be part of my Monday listening while I'm at work. But give it a listen and leave your feedback below. You all are awesome and Corn Nation wouldn't be anything without you. Sincerely, Greg Maddog Mehochko Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

We’re all in misery together. After such confidence, thinking the Huskers would go to Minnesota and retain the $5 Bits of Broken Chair Trophy, we were humbled when the Golden Gophers thumped us 34-7 on a cold and rainy October night. At one point they (the Gophers, Pronouns Pal) had more than doubled our rushing production, gaining over 300 yards on the ground to our 150. That was while the game was still going on and I didn’t look up stats afterwards. But this episode of Over-Reaction has Greg Mehochko and Evan Wiebe lamenting the newest loss for the Huskers, what could be the cause (or causes), and looking ahead. Listen and wait for that ray of hope at the end. BECAUSE I MADE SURE THERE WAS A RAY OF HOPE AT THE END!!! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Happy Sunday and GO BIG RED! Welcome to a brand new episode of the Five Heart Podcast, and thank you for subscribing/listening. This week, Hoss is at his sister’s wedding, because she and her husband had the good sense to get married BEFORE football season. But I digress. Patrick Gerhart joins Greg Mehochko to talk about Huskers Fan Day as well as Fall practices, and a peek into the 2018 season, from which, thankfully, we’re only two weeks away. Is the starting QB situation becoming clear? How are the offensive and defensive lines looking? And in this episode, the guys don’t hesitate to compare this team to last year, as many of the players are the same. Troy Walters has a cameo (in that we mention his name a few times) and Mario Verduzco is a legit boss! If you like the show, tell your friends. Tell them we’re on the PodBean app, Apple Podcasts, Google Play, and Stitcher. Subscribe, then rate and review. April is the Cruelest Month (Part 3 of 3) – With Special Guest Greg Mehochko (Nerds United Show/5 Hearts Podcast) This month Brad and Jeremy set out to tackle some of the worst sequels. Their Third and Final installment is Son of the Mask. The Mask was a blockbuster success in 1994. When a sequel was penned, it was so awful that Jim Carrey walked away from the project despite being offered $10 million. Over 10 years later, the movie was dragged out of development hell with Jamie Kennedy attached. Need we say more?
