Dan and Matt are back to chat about a wild week at home and abroad. City and Liverpool played a half of football that you would show to an alien who wanted to discover what real football is. United continue to prove that they are not up to snuff. Brentford hand West Ham another gut punch loss, while Spurs get back on track against Villa. In the world of football, the Giants and Jets each get their first wins in OT, the Cardinals continue to elevate their status in the NFC, while in Foxborough some guy named Brady played a football game. Football season is back in full force. Most of us are excited weekly settling in with good food and good company watching the game on TV, or suiting up to stay warm while going out for the big game in person. The season also spells out the opportunity for friends to get together and play a friendly wager game called Fantasy, or just have loving banters against one another--especially if you have a friend who supports another team that rivals your own. In this episode, we chat a little bit about one of our favorite time of the year for sports, and even though, it may not be the favorite sport for some, it is hard to deny the energy and the dynamic of the sport during this time of year.Throughout this episode, we chat back and forth describing why football is fascinating to us. Though it's our own personal affection for it, it can be something that is passionate for a lot of people, even if they are not actively playing it.In the end, sports is just purely entertainment for a majority of viewers. But what makes it so fascinating is how it can bring people together to cheer on a common team for a common goal (winning). We think the dynamics of how the sport is played, allows it to be one of the more interesting sport to watch and be interested in.
