North Carolina's first half was not one to remember as the Heels could not make shots on one end, and allowed Northern Iowa to hit 60 percent of their field goals on the way to a 41-35 halftime lead. But an energized group of Tar Heels came out of the locker room with a 32-6 run before closing out the Panthers 91-69 in the first quarterfinal of the Battle 4 Atlantis. Harrison Ingram led the way with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Greg Barnes and Joey Powell break it all down on the Inside Carolina Postgame podcast. The Hoosiers closed out Louisville 74-66. IU nearly put the Cards away early in the second half. However, the team from Kentucky turned the tables after that and took a late lead. However, IU coach Mike Woodson switched to a zone to stifle UL in the last few minutes and Indiana closed out the contest late with near-perfect FT shooting. Week 11 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2023-2024 season is now in the books! The Birds beat the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead in Kansas City by a score of 21-17 in this year's Super Bowl rematch! The Eagles are now 9-1 on the season, and they remain in first place in the NFC East division. This was mostly an ugly game for the offense, not executing on nearly 75% of their plays. The Eagle had 78 yards of total offense and Jalen Hurts was sacked 5 times in the first half. The run defense was shredded for 121 yards, the most any team has run for against Philly this season, in the first half. But at the end of the day, both the offense and the defense made plays when they needed to. They were tenacious.Meanwhile, the Eagles secondary had their best performance of the season. The defense overall held Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense to zero points in the second half. Quite remarkable. As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches. And we appreciated our friend of the podcast, Matt Rogers from the Honorable Mention podcast, filling in for the guys this week!Head over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.com.Follow us on Twitter:Jeff Warren: @Jeffrey_WarrenLen Hunsicker: @LenHunsickerErik Leonard: @BrickPolittAnd the show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow the show on Instagram: instagram.com/philadelphiasportstable.This show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/3549428/advertisement
