The Yankees' season wrapped in chaos, and the reactions were just as wild. Boomer slammed the starting pitching—except Cam Schlittler—while the offense vanished when it mattered most. A-Rod called the roster one of the worst ever, Jazz Chisholm bragged about winning the World Series then blew a key double play, and Judge shined but Vlad stole the spotlight. Fans flooded the lines, debating everything from Cashman's job to who should manage—some dreaming of Jeter, Mattingly, Girardi, Cone, and Randolph, others just pleading for hitters who can hit. Postgame drama included the Blue Jays' manager taunting “start spreading the news bitches,” Schlittler breaking down the clubhouse mood, and Volpe reflecting on a rough postseason. Across the hour, every Yankee misstep was dissected, from petty celebrations to coaching critiques, leaving fans angry, confused, and begging for a team reboot.

Josh Snyder returns to the bench to host this game with more mishegas (Yiddish for shenanigans) than Michigan for returning guest Jake Manne. Eric Ede and Jake bury the hatchet long enough to team up against Scott and David Luks, who find out Jake's dad is a fellow 8/5er. As chaos reigns during "Pre- and Post-Game ..and Concessions", there are multiple concussions as Luks and Ede are nearly broken by Snyder's rule-breaking. Scott resorts to Kraken Skulls, David is down, and Jake pulls a Markkus. Ede is bouncing between frustration that he knows the answer but doesn't know why or how and using his geography bee and deep Weird Al discography to insta-check, while Jake lies on the ground with a hatchet in his back. By the time everyone is done flopping after an epic finish, a new Benchwarmer (Menschwarmer? Detroit Lions vs Cincinnati Bengals Post Game Show: Game 5 Reactions What Stood Out in the Detroit Lions vs Cincinnati Bengals Clash The Lions' Week 5 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals at Ford Field delivered plenty of narrative points we'll unpack on tonight's post game show. The Bengals, playing without Joe Burrow, leaned on Jake Browning under center, and Detroit's defensive front had a golden opportunity to challenge a weakened passing attack. Meanwhile, on offense, rumors surrounding Taylor Decker's status added drama to the line of scrimmage battle. One of the biggest storylines we'll examine is whether Detroit leaned into its ground game to control tempo or trusted Jared Goff to carve up the Bengals' secondary. Cincinnati has struggled to stop the run this season, and Detroit's backfield duo - Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery - has shown flashes of dominance. Did they get the workload they needed in Game 5? On defense, the Lions had a chance to pressure Browning and force quick decisions. We'll assess how well Aidan Hutchinson and the edge rushers executed, and whether the secondary held up against receivers like Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Did Detroit's game plan force tough third-down throws? Did the Bengals' incomplete pass rate grow under duress? These are exactly the types of tactical battles we'll highlight in the show. In tonight's Detroit Lions post game show, we'll dive into: Offensive line dynamics and protection: If Taylor Decker was unavailable or limited, how did the Lions adjust? Did the interior unit step up? Balance vs. explosiveness: Did Detroit mix quick passes, screens, and run sets, or did they risk being one dimensional? Which playmakers made big moments? Defensive disruption and coverage: How consistent was the pass rush? When the Bengals had opportunities, did Detroit's secondary tighten up or give up chunk plays? Critical fourth-downs, red zone efficiency, and turnovers: In close games, those margins often decide winners. We'll dissect how each team handled those key moments. Above all, we'll shine a spotlight on the Detroit Lions reaction—how the team responded emotionally, whether they leaned on veterans in pressure moments, and whether the coaching staff showed urgency or patience in adjustments. As always, our post game show isn't just us talking. We're opening the phone lines to take your calls and reactions. Did you see the Lions dominate? Did Cincinnati make life difficult? Were there coaching choices you liked - or hated? We want those voices on air. Game 5 carries weight. Whether Detroit established dominance or survived a battle, the result and decisions in this game could set a tone for the rest of the NFL season. On tonight's show, we'll sort through the emotion, the X's and O's, and the fan pulse behind every snap. POSTGAME: TITANS Defeat CARDINALS 22-21....in an INCREDIBLE ComeBack Victory!! GLENDALE, AZ ― Well, how about that: The Tennessee Titans won a football game. They put their 10-game losing streak to bed with a 22-21 comeback versus the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium on Oct. 5, getting coach Brian Callahan and quarterback Cam Ward their first win as a tandem. The Titans (1-4) trailed by 15 points for most of the game and looked poised to go down three scores in the fourth quarter on a long Arizona run, but a mental mistake turned what should've been six Arizona points into Titans football. Rookie quarterback Cam Ward responded with a scoring drive. Then the Titans defense forced a quick stop. Then the Titans scored a touchdown on a play that started with a Cardinals interception. Suddenly the score was 21-19 with a little under five minutes to play, and the Titans needing a stop to finish the comeback. Arizona drained some clock, but the defense came up with its stop, getting the ball back to the offense with 1:53 left and no timeouts from the Titans' own 18-yard line. After a couple quick completions, Ward found tight end Chig Okonkwo for 16 yards to get the team near midfield and then a 38-yard dagger to receiver Calvin Ridley to get the Titans well into kicker Joey Slye's range. Slye connected on a 29-yard field goal to win the game. Looking for a free mini puzzle? Play the USA TODAY Quick Cross now. What the heck happened there? Ward nearly threw the game away. At the 4:53 mark in the fourth quarter, Ward dropped back on a third-and-2 from the Cardinals' 20-yard line trailing by nine points. An incompletion wouldn't have been the worst thing; the Titans could've easily kicked a field goal from there and made it a one-score game. But Ward forced a pass to Ridley into a tight window and was intercepted by safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, seemingly ending the Titans' threat. Not so fast. Taylor-Demerson went to the ground untouched after the interception and couldn't keep control of the football. Madness ensued. Several Cardinals tripped and kicked the ball backward trying to recover the fumble. Titans receiver Tyler Lockett squeezed ahead and landed on the ball in the end zone. Touchdown, Lockett's first as a Titan. Cam Ward stats: One gutsy quarter Ward was erratic, late on several throws and couldn't find any rhythm on deep shots. He only completed 5 of his 16 attempts in the first half, finishing with just 58 passing yards. Factor in sacks, and the Titans only netted 42 yards through the air before halftime, with the offense stalling across midfield three times. Get the 4th and Monday newsletter in your inbox. Expert guide of the week's NFL action, game results and must-see moments. Delivery: Mon Your Email For a brief moment in the fourth quarter, Ward showed signs of life. With the Titans trailing 21-6, Ward orchestrated a six-play, 80-yard drive headlined by a 47-yard deep crosser to Ridley that got the Titans into the red zone for the first time in eight quarters and a 19-yard rainbow to tight end Gunnar Helm perfectly lofted over Helm's outside shoulder that set up a 1-yard Tony Pollard touchdown. Ward finished the day 21-for-39 with 265 yards and an interception. Ridley caught five passes for 131 yards. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
