Cole Stukenholtz and Nate Rohr talk Husker softball as NU wins their first Regional game and will meet Grand Canyon Saturday. Nate tells us whether this Husker team is the best in program history. Cole updates the national scene as Husker baseball pushes to be one of 16 Regional hosts, summarizing the teams NU is competing with and where they are ranked. Yet another wild comeback victory for Nebraska strengthens the case to host a Regional. BTN commentator and former Husker All-American Jeff Leise joins Cole to discuss NU's strong top-to-bottom offense, the starting pitching finding consistency, and how a home Regional could boost Nebraska (Leise played in *four* Lincoln Regionals and two home Super Regionals). Husker football finally missed out on the offseason national championship, and Cole explains the perfect storm that has led people to react so negatively to Matt Rhule and all things football. GBR!!

Cole Stukenholtz is back live in the studio! He recaps Husker softball's run to the Big Ten Tournament championship game, and Nate Rohr calls in from College Park to preview the matchup with UCLA. NU baseball run-ruled Iowa Friday and look to keep their Regional hosting hopes alive with six regular season games remaining. Cole sees NU as one of 12 teams fighting for the last four hosting slots. Lots of scheduling news for Nebraska volleyball, including playing at AT&T Stadium and in Las Vegas. HuskerMax's Lincoln Arneal joins the show to discuss DBK's scheduling philosophy, as well as who could emerge as the program's next superstar. Finally, some Husker recruiting news and the only good things about MBB and CFP tournament expansions. GBR!!
His coach told him to keep the guns in the holsters. Ryan Lamb never listened. The cult Gloucester fly-half who helped light up the Premiership at just 20 years old joins Alex and Tins for a GBR classic. From locking a teacher in a cupboard to calling Stuart Lancaster "Steve", Lamby holds nothing back. He relives the iconic Bristol promotion playoff, his love-hate relationship with Dean Ryan, why he thought Premiership rugby was "quite easy," and what it's like running Plymouth Albion on their promotion charge. Honest, hilarious, and completely unfiltered - this one's not to be missed. 00:00
Cole Stukenholtz flies solo with Nate in State College, PA on Husker softball duty. Cole runs down this week's college baseball rankings, the latest RPI standings headed into the weekend, and yet another weekend rotation change. Evan Bland from the Omaha World-Herald joins to evaluate NU baseball's regional hosting chances after another series win, the coaching staff's weekend rotation change (again), and his thoughts on Husker football's NFL Draft struggles. Continuing the NFL draft discussion, Cole gives the many reasons why Nebraska has not had a top 50 pick in 15 years, as well as what Matt Rhule has done to try and change that. Fred Hoiberg added another transfer to men's hoops, and Cole catches up on the look of the 26-27 roster as it stands now. Finally, softball has an opportunity to clinch the Big Ten regular season championship this weekend as they wrap up conference play at Penn State. Baseball plays at Ohio State with Creighton, Iowa, and Minnesota remaining on their schedule before the B1G tournament. GBR!!

Cole Stukenholtz & Nate Rohr are both remote with Cole in Oklahoma City for men's basketball and Nate in East Lansing for softball. They react to Nebrasketball's first-ever NCAA Tournament win, Thursday's victory over Troy. Amie Just from the Lincoln Journal Star and Michael Bruntz from Husker247 join the guys to share their perspective on the history-making win, as both were courtside for the game in Oklahoma City. Nate gives a quick softball update, Cole and Bruntz talk baseball, and Cole also updates the wrestling team's performance at nationals. Finally, women's hoops were knocked out of the NCAA Tournament by Baylor Friday, but Britt Prince carried NU to a First Four win on Wednesday. Busy weekend ahead with softball and baseball series, wrestling goes for a couple national titles, and Nebrasketball play for a chance at the Sweet 16! GBR!!

Cole Stukenholtz & Nate Rohr are reviewing the Nebrasketball resume after their short stay in the Big Ten Tournament. Selection Sunday is tomorrow, and the guys run down the possible landing sites, other teams competing for their seed line and venue, and forecast where NU will end up. Plus, the cases for pessimism and optimism. Matt McMaster, host of Middays with Matt on 1620 the Zone in Omaha, joins Cole & Nate live from Chicago to give his perspective on the Purdue loss and the players' mentality in the locker room. Matt also chats about the latest spring football buzz. Finally, a check in on NU baseball, currently on a 7-game win streak, and Husker softball, now in the top 5 and well positioned for hosting in the postseason. Now it's time for Nebrasketball to do the damn thing! GBR!!!
It's the 500th episode since Cole started the Saturday morning show in 2015!! Cole Stukenholtz and Nate Rohr are in-studio together, and they start off with some Husker QB talk as Anthony Colandrea met with the media, along with TJ Lateef and Daniel Kaelin. Then, the Nebrasketball roundtable! Wilson Moore from the Omaha World-Herald and Matt Knobbe from Husker Hoops Central join the guys to discuss this historic team. They breakdown the 2025-26 season, including when they all knew this group was different. They also look back at Fred Hoiberg's tenure and where each of them saw the turning point toward program success. Finally, everyone forecasts the NCAA Tournament result for Nebraska. Cole & Nate run down the other sports results from the week: NU women's hoops suffered a tough B1G tourney loss and find themselves squarely on the bubble ahead of Selection Sunday. Softball is in the Top 10 and has won 11 of 12. And Baseball walked off Michigan State in their B1G opener, with starting pitching rounding into form but issues to work out with the bullpen. GBR!!!
Cole Stukenholtz and Nate Rohr are back again with their rundown of the week that was in Husker sports. Baseball's big win at Auburn Friday night will propel their resume all season, and Evan Bland from the Omaha World-Herald joins the show to talk about Will Bolt's team thru 2+ weekends. Evan also chats spring football and runs down the new faces that have stood out. Cole and Nate give their thoughts on spring ball and which positions need to be strong. Women's flag football is coming as an NCAA varsity sport, and NU has hired Liz Sowers, who has won the last five NAIA national championships, and her sister Katie Sowers, who has been an NFL assistant with three different teams. They'll start in Lincoln in June with the first season coming in spring 2028. Nebrasketball has just three regular season games remaining, and their tournament resume is excellent and almost complete. Husker women's hoops snapped their 6-game losing streak and will play their Senior day Saturday against Rutgers before the Big Ten tournament next week. Finally, Husker softball is 2-1 down in Oklahoma this weekend, and will play against Oklahoma State Saturday and Sunday. GBR!!
Greg opens a late-February Five Heart Podcast by hyping the “tripod” of hosts— Minnie, Fred, and Greg —while the chat rolls in with the usual mix of inside jokes, trash talk, and regional rival cameos (Indiana, Michigan, USC, Minnesota, Iowa). Early banter centers on who Minnie's “new favorite coach” is (Roy Manning), plus a running gag about “gaps,” “holes,” and Nebraska fans being the kind of fan base that laughs through the pain. The show's main football talk focuses on spring practice starting early, fans feeling “checked out” after a rough finish, and spring game ticket sales looking soft. The hosts debate Matt Rhule's “standard” messaging—how much slack he deserves, and whether his podcast helped recruiting/branding or was bad optics during losing. They pivot into staff changes, especially defensive concerns: Nebraska's pass defense was solid, but run defense cratered, so “stop the run” becomes the repeated mantra. Roy Manning's résumé and player profile preferences (size, twitchiness) get attention, along with optimism about improved edge pressure. Special teams becomes a second theme: Ekeler raised the floor with fundamentals, while new coach Brett Maher may add schematic ceiling. They discuss long-snapping depth (and hope never to learn the long snapper's name again). The episode closes with a chaotic “Five Heart Theater” bit featuring “Cornac the Magnificent,” more membership/Blue Chew jokes, and a wrap-up of other Husker sports before the final chorus: GBR.

Cole Stukenholtz & Nate Rohr join forces again to rehash the wild Nebrasketball comeback against Purdue. They welcome NU's all-time assists leader Brian Carr back to the show, and Brian gives his perspective on Fred Hoiberg and the team as they head down the stretch. Nate is down in Clearwater with Husker softball, and the guys break down Nebraska's 4-4 start to 2026. Then Cole discusses NU baseball's season opening victory in Scottsdale over UConn. Finally, Cole updates the bracket situation, specifically whether NU can still be close to home for the first weekend. GBR!!
Cole Stukenholtz & Nate Rohr come together on Husker softball's opening weekend with Nate in San Antonio to call games, including against preseason #1 and defending champs Texas. Ben McLaughlin, Husker baseball play-by-play voice, joins the show to preview the 2026 season that starts next weekend. Then some hoops discussion as Nebrasketball prepares to take the floor Saturday for the first time since their Illinois loss last Sunday. NU still has a great shot at a Big Ten title and a top-3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Finally, a long-awaited call for former Husker Roger Craig, now a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. GBR!
Austin, Dak, and Hunter recap the recent news in Husker Sports, including Nebraska Basketball, Mike Ekeler to USC, and Transfer Portal News.
