Join us this week as we welcome county music singer songwriter, Jay Young. Early on, Jay was encouraged by a voice teacher to pursue singing and went on to study classical music. Shortly after, he started writing songs and performing with local rock bands. Upon a opportunity to work with Jimmy Heffernan, (who recorded and toured with Brad Paisley and was with Joe Diffie for nine years), Jay made the move to country music and proceeded to write and record his debut album. We will talk to Jay about his upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look into his music, feature songs from his latest album "I Insist" and ask him to share his efforts to support the troops. Please be sure to visit Jay Young at http://www.reverbnation.com/jayayoung and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and chat live with Jay during the show.
