Talking Through …I Lose Myself On this episode 51 of Fear the Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle, Mark, and I talk through Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 16, the season finale, which is titled …I Lose Myself. It was written by executive producers/showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg and directed by Michael E. Satrazemis. Compared to last season, this finale was nowhere near as good as last season’s finale. Next week, we come back as The Walking Dead Talk Through! Ratings were up for the finale… Ratings for …I Lose Myself were up from the previous week, with a 0.71 in the 18-49 demographic, with 2.127 million viewers, up from last week‘s 0.66 and 2.033 million viewers. On this episode 51 of Fear the Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle, Mark and I discuss Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 16, the season finale, titled ...I Lose Myself. While not the worst episode, it certainly wasn't the best either. It had some great moments, particularly the moments between John and June, but this episode suffered from the same unbelievable use of time and distance and plot points that stretched my suspension of disbelief beyond the breaking point. I still look forward to what the show will come up with next season... but my anticipation is nothing like it was at the end of season 3.

Much like the rest of this half season, the penultimate episode of S4 of Fear The Walking Dead fell a little flat. Flatter than Jim should be after throwing himself off a 12-story building. Ian Goldberg and Andrew Chambliss promised us new Morgan story lines this season, but dare we say, it appears Morgan is circling back to "I lose people, I lose myself." Not like it was impossible to see coming, seeing as these words are literally the episode titles. Is it impossible to create a new story line for this character? At this point, it'd be better if they just killed Morgan off completely. How can we watch the same story line for 5 years straight? Welp, that's what the show runners want us to do, and that's what we'll continue to do. Join us next week for what we're sure will be an exciting, never-been-done-before episode of Fear The Walking Dead. /s We want to know what you thought of the most recent episode of Fear The Walking Dead.
