Tips A coach is helpful if the business is growing quickly and managing growth is challenging...or you’re just not sure how to run a business A good coaching candidate is passionate about their work and is willing to work hard and implement advice Most businesses underprice their product and don’t understand their financials Throw out the words “I know” from your vocabulary--it cuts off curiosity and learning Don’t treat your business like a hobby, see it as a business Recommended Resources Books: The Art of Possibility: Transforming Professional and Personal Life (https://www.amazon.com/Art-Possibility-Transforming-Professional-Personal/dp/0142001104) Whoever Tells the Best Story Wins: How to Use Your Own Stories to Communicate with Power and Impact (https://www.amazon.com/Whoever-Tells-Best-Story-Wins/dp/0814409148) Good To Great: Why Some Companies Make The Leap and Others Don't (https://www.amazon.com/Good-Great-Some-Companies-Others/dp/0712676090/ref=asc_df_0712676090/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312006100296&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12180698525949483932&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9002555&hvtargid=pla-448425246915&psc=1) Healthy Habit: Biking! I remember being told ‘you need 11 touchpoints before you can convert a prospect into a customer’. Over the years I’ve also been told that number is 7 … or even 8 touchpoints that you need. How confusing! The great thing is there’s now some new, reliable research that’s come out that can put an end to this debate. Exactly how many touchpoints do we need? Or do we even need to focus on touchpoints at all? Michael Humblet reveals all in this episode. Products and services are more complex. We use different media to communicate. And we communicate less face to face. As a result, our communication is often boring and superficial. It does not include intuitive information or the experiential aspect of what we're trying to say. Storytelling can fix that, says Annette Simmons, author of Whoever Tells the Best Story Wins.
