What would your dream week look like? Every Monday before I walk into the gym, I sit in my truck with my pre-workout and I think about that question. Not in a vague way. Not in a “hopefully something good happens” kind of way. I get specific. What would the perfect week look like for me? Revenue. Impact. Conversations. Health. Content. Relationships. Because here's what I've learned… if you can see it clearly in your mind, you start moving toward it without even realizing it. “As within, so without.”The more I study manifesting and the law of assumption, the more convinced I am that you have to build it internally before it ever shows up externally. You don't stumble into a great week. You design it.And let's be real… your life can change in a moment. One call. One DM. One referral. One piece of content. We've all had that domino moment where everything shifted. So why not decide, ahead of time, what kind of week you're stepping into? What would your dream week look like in your business? What would it look like in your body? In your marriage? In your faith? In the way you show up?Then ask yourself one powerful question: How would the version of you who already has that week… act today? Because you're not your past. And in front of you are seven fresh days. Seven chances. Seven opportunities. Seven moments that could change everything. So maybe today you grab a journal. Maybe you just sit quietly for five minutes. But see it. Feel it. Decide it. Then walk into this week like it's already unfolding in your favor. I'm pouring belief into you right now. I really believe the next seven days could shift your entire life. Let's go create something beautiful.

Author David Foster Wallace is credited with a story in a commencement speech, where he shares, "There are these two young fish swimming along and they happen to meet an older fish swimming the other way, who nods at them and says 'Morning, boys. How's the water?' And the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one of them looks over at the other and says 'What the hell is water?'" We live in a culture where the expectation is to have absolutely everything. And more. Obviously there is a material cost to everything. Money. And it takes time to make money. So we cost ourselves a lot of work to afford all the stuff. But regardless. Even if you win the lottery and can easily afford anything. Having stuff takes up our mental space, and I don't think we consider this. I sure didn't. I was just like the fish. Stuff? What stuff? I don't feel I bought things needlessly. Or for status. I had a big family. If we felt we needed something? Get it. Maybe get two. If someone might need it, let's have it on hand. This had its value. But my gosh. There is just stuff. Everywhere. I ultimately felt so tied down by it all. So, my guest is Joshua Becker, the founder and editor of Becoming Minimalist, a website dedicated to inspiring others to find more life by owning less. His websites welcome over 1M readers each month and have inspired millions around the world to consider the practical benefits of owning fewer possessions and given them the practical help to get started. He is an international speaker and the #1 Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author of several books, the newest of which is, Uncluttered Faith: Own Less, Love More, and Make an Impact in Your World. I am on a constant quest to…pair down. Yesterday, as of this recording, I accompanied two of my daughters in talking through everything in their rooms. Rooms I think most would feel were sparse. Awareness of attachment styles in relationships is crucial for maintaining healthy, sustainable relationships. Once you are aware of your attachment styles in relationships, you will begin to see areas where you may need healing. Understanding Attachment Styles and Anxiety Understanding how you relate to others is deeply influenced by your attachment style. This concept, rooted in early life, plays a pivotal role in how you experience relationships today. The Root of Attachment Styles Attachment styles begin to form during the first three years of life when the brain and nervous system are most malleable. Types of Attachment Styles There are several types of attachment styles to consider: Secure Attachment: Developed through consistently supportive caregiving, resulting in trusting and balanced relationships. Anxious Attachment: Arises when caregivers are unpredictable, leading to worry about relationships being untrustworthy or unstable. Avoidant Attachment: Occurs when a caregiver is consistently dismissive or unavailable, causing an emotional distance in adult relationships. Disorganized Attachment: Results from trauma or inconsistent caregiving, creating confusion and fear around intimacy. The Impact of Anxiety Attachment styles are not merely theoretical; they are intricately connected to anxiety levels in relationships. Anxious and avoidant tendencies can manifest through fear of abandonment or difficulty with closeness and vulnerability. Pathways to Healing and Establishing Secure Attachment Awareness is the primary step in transforming your attachment style. Here are some methods to guide your journey: Therapy and Professional Support: Engaging in therapy, especially when informed by attachment theory, can provide profound insights and tools for change. Techniques such as Somatic Experiencing or neurofeedback can aid in reconditioning the nervous system. Grief and Story Work: Unprocessed grief from childhood needs acknowledgment. Story work in a supportive group setting can help reframe past narratives, providing healing and a sense of empowerment. Co-Regulation: Finding relationships where co-regulation is possible helps. Whether through therapy, a coach, or a supportive spouse, being with someone who models secure attachment can naturally elevate your own attachment style. Exploring Spiritual and Emotional Growth: Acknowledging Christianity's role can also promote healing. Secure faith and trust in Jesus as your savior can provide stability and comfort. The Crucial Role of Community Healing from attachment-related wounds is not a solitary journey. Awareness, Acknowledgement, and Hard Holy Work Acknowledging and working with your attachment style is a critical component of improving interpersonal relationships and managing anxiety. A Relationship With the Lord God is at our side and ready to help us heal. Read the full show notes and access all links. Perimenopause libido dropping after 40? If sex feels different—lower desire, more dryness, shorter fuse, less connection—your hormones (not your relationship) may be the missing piece. In this episode of Ask a Sex Therapist, Heather Shannon talks with board-certified OB-GYN + functional/integrative hormone expert Dr. Tara Scott about the most common hormone shifts that impact women's sex drive across postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause—and why women's desire is often more “Goldilocks” than linear (too little or too much estrogen can cause problems). You'll learn how hormone testing can be interpreted when timing is right, why blood levels don't always match what's happening in your tissues, and how chronic stress can quietly deplete DHEA and testosterone (even in your 30s and 40s). Dr. Scott also breaks down practical, realistic ways to support hormone health—movement, food quality, sleep, stress tools, and reducing endocrine disruptors—without trying to overhaul your entire life overnight. If you're dealing with low libido, vaginal dryness, painful sex, fatigue, sleep changes, or irritability, this conversation will help you understand what's normal, what's treatable, and how to advocate for better care.Chapters00:00 Introduction to Hormonal Health01:22 Understanding Hormonal Shifts Throughout Life03:41 Differences in Male and Female Libido14:00 Personalizing Hormonal Treatment28:46 The Impact of Lifestyle on Hormonal BalanceWant to address the emotional and psychological factors blocking your sex life? This episode is Part 3 of our special Develop Your Voice of Impact series, and it's all about what happens when the stakes are high and the spotlight is on. In this conversation, Krista Donargo, SGA, dives into the difference between recorded content and live communication, and why so many brilliant leaders lose their power when they step on stage, lead a training, or answer questions in real time. From keynotes and panels to team trainings and high-pressure conversations, this episode breaks down what it really takes to speak with confidence, presence, and authority when things don't go exactly as planned. She covers why over-rehearsing can backfire, how to stop hiding behind notes, and what to do when tech fails, nerves spike, or the room's energy feels off. You'll learn how to use pattern interrupts to keep people engaged, how to handle tough or impromptu questions without rambling, and why silence is often more powerful than filling space with words. If you want to command a room, sound grounded under pressure, and communicate in a way that feels both confident and human, this episode is for you. If you're ready to expand your voice to match the level of leadership you're stepping into, our Voice of Impact Mini Intensives are now open. Education On Fire - Sharing creative and inspiring learning in our schools
In this episode of the Ger Graus Gets Gritty series, Professor Dr. Ger Graus OBE tackles what he calls "the most underestimated aspect of a child's learning and growing up"—the role adults play as models in young people's lives. Through personal stories, including his daughter's early obsession with "Mrs. Poole" her nursery teacher, and insights from his global work with Kidzania, Ger reveals how children unconsciously absorb behaviours, values, and dreams from the adults around them, often in ways we never notice. This conversation goes beyond the surface of role modeling to question the fundamental structures of modern education. Ger and host Mark Taylor examine why schools still operate on an industrial-era framework—early start times that conflict with adolescent sleep patterns, restricted bathroom access, rushed lunch periods causing "collective indigestion"—and explore what education could look like if we redesigned it around how children actually learn and thrive rather than outdated factory models."If we want a world that is respectful and that is kind and considerate and that is inquisitive and curious, then we need to begin to lead by example. That is the most important part of our job description when it comes to our young people."Key Takeaways1. Adults are role models whether they realize it or not. Children absorb everything from the adults around them—teachers, parents, neighbours, and community members. This "copied behavior" is one of the most underestimated aspects of learning, and adults must become conscious of the example they set in values, kindness, curiosity, and respect.2. Lead by example, not just instruction. Children learn more from what we do than what we say. Schools that demonstrate values through everyday behaviour—greeting people warmly, showing kindness, opening doors—create cultures where children naturally adopt these behaviors, regardless of socioeconomic background.3. The industrial model of education is outdated and failing students. Current school structures—rigid schedules, minimal breaks, locked toilets, rushed lunches—are remnants of the Industrial Revolution designed to prepare workers for factories. This model no longer serves students' needs or prepares them for modern life.4. Schools should be community-owned "more than schools" Educational institutions need to transform into community hubs that serve broader purposes, with flexible hours (perhaps 8am-6pm), adequate meal times, and involvement from employers and community members. Schools should measure and value different outcomes beyond traditional academics.5. Careers education has failed generations and continues to fail. Adults consistently report that their careers education was either laughable or non-existent. Despite this universal acknowledgment, little has changed. Meaningful change requires creating experiential learning environments where young people can explore possibilities and develop authentic aspirations.Chapters:00:00 - Introduction to the Series01:18 - The Role We Play in Children's Lives13:20 - The Role of Teachers as Role Models21:39 - The Importance of Values in Education33:06 - The Role of Role Models in Education42:21 - The Impact of Role Models in Education55:40 - The Influence of Role...
In this episode of the Crazy Wisdom podcast, host Stewart Alsop interviews John von Seggern, founder of Future Proof Music School, about the intersection of music education, technology, and artificial intelligence. They explore how musicians can develop timeless skills in an era of generative AI, the evolution of music production from classical notation to digital audio workstations like Ableton Live, and how AI is being used on the education side rather than for creation. The conversation covers music theory fundamentals, the development of instruments and recording technology throughout history, complex production techniques like sidechain compression, and the future of creative work in an AI-assisted world. John also discusses his development of Cadence, an AI voice tutor integrated with Ableton Live to help students learn music production. For those interested in learning more about Future Proof Music School or becoming a beta tester for the AI voice tutor, visit futureproofmusicschool.com.Timestamps00:00 Future Proofing Musicians in a Changing Landscape03:07 The Role of AI in Music Education05:36 Generative AI: A Tool for Musicians?08:36 The Evolution of Music Creation and Technology11:30 The Impact of Recording Technology on Music14:31 The Fragmentation of Culture and Music17:19 Exploring Music History and Theory20:13 The Relationship Between Music and Memory23:07 The Future of Music Creation and AI26:17 The Importance of Live Music Experiences28:49 Navigating the New Music Landscape31:47 The Role of AI in Finding New Music34:48 The Creative Process in Music Production37:33 The Future of Music Theory and Composition40:10 The Search for Unique Artistic Voices43:18 The Intersection of Music and Technology46:10 Cultural Shifts in the Music Industry49:09 Finding Quality in a Sea of ContentKey Insights1. Future-proofing musicians means teaching evergreen techniques while adapting to AI realities. John von Seggern founded Future Proof Music School to address both sides of music education in the AI era. Students learn timeless production skills that won't become obsolete as technology evolves, while simultaneously exploring meaningful creative goals in a world where generative AI exists. The school uses AI on the education side to help students learn, but students themselves aren't particularly interested in using generative AI for actual music creation, preferring to maintain their creative fingerprint on their work.2. The 12-note Western music system emerged from mathematical relationships discovered by Pythagoras and enabled collaborative music-making. Pythagoras demonstrated that pitch relates to vibrating string lengths, establishing mathematical ratios for musical intervals. This system allowed Western classical music to flourish because it could be notated and taught consistently, enabling large groups to play together. However, the piano is never perfectly in tune due to necessary compromises in the tuning system. By the 1920s, composers had explored most harmonic possibilities within this framework, leading to new directions in musical innovation.3. Recording technology fundamentally transformed music by making the studio itself the primary instrument. The invention of audio recording in the early-to-mid 20th century shifted music from purely instrumental composition to sound-based creation. This enabled entirely new genres like electronic dance music and hip-hop, which couldn't exist without technologies like synthesizers and samplers. Modern digital audio workstations like Ableton Live allow producers to have unlimited tracks and manipulate sounds in infinite ways, making any imaginable sound possible and moving innovation from hardware to software.4. Generative AI will likely replace generic music production but not visionary artists. John distinguishes between functional music (background music for films, work, or bars) and music where audiences deeply connect with the artist's vision. AI excels at generating functional music cheaply, which will benefit indie filmmakers and similar creators. However, artists with strong creative visions who audiences follow and identify with won't be replaced. The creative fingerprint and personal statement of important artists will remain valuable regardless of the tools they use, just as DJs created art through curation rather than original production.5. Copyright restrictions are limiting generative music AI's quality compared to other AI domains. Unlike books and visual art, recorded music copyrights are concentrated among a few companies that defend them aggressively. This prevents AI music models from training on the best music in each genre, resulting in lower-quality outputs. Some developers claim their private models trained on copyrighted music sound better than commercial offerings, but legal constraints prevent widespread access. This situation differs significantly from other creative domains where training data is more accessible.6. Modern music production involves complex technical skills like sidechain compression and multi-track mixing. Today's electronic music producers work with potentially hundreds of tracks, each with sophisticated processing. Techniques like sidechain compression allow certain elements (like kick drums) to dynamically reduce the volume of other elements (like bass), ensuring clarity in the final mix. Future Proof Music School teaches students these complex production techniques, with some aspiring producers creating incredibly detailed compositions with intricate effects chains and interdependent track relationships.7. Culture is fragmenting into micro-trends, making discovery rather than creation the primary challenge. John observes that while the era of mass media created mega-stars like The Beatles and Elvis, today's landscape features both enormous stars (like Taylor Swift) and an extremely long tail of creators making niche content. AI will make it easier for more people to create quality content, particularly in fields like independent filmmaking, but the real problem is discovery. Current algorithmic recommendations don't effectively surface hidden gems, suggesting a future where personal AI agents might better curate content based on individual preferences rather than platform-driven engagement metrics.
In this episode Andrea Samadi revisits Season 15's foundation with Dr. Bruce Perry to explore how safety, regulation, and patterned experience shape the brain's capacity to learn and create. We examine why potential must be activated through repetition, rhythm, and low-threat environments, and how trauma, stress, or dysregulation block learning. Takeaways include practical steps for educators, parents, and leaders: prioritize nervous-system safety before instruction, use micro-repetition to build skills, and employ storytelling to make scientific ideas stick. This episode anchors Phase 1 of the season: regulation, rhythm, repetition, and relational safety as the prerequisites for sustainable performance and lasting change. This week, Episode 385—based on our review of Episode 168 recorded in October 2021—we explore: ✔ 1. Genetic Potential vs. Developed Capacity We are born with extraordinary biological potential. But experience determines which neural systems become functional. The brain builds what it repeatedly uses. ✔ 2. The Brain Is Use-Dependent Language, emotional regulation, leadership skills, motor precision— all are wired through patterned, rhythmic repetition. ✔ 3. Trauma, Regulation & Learning A dysregulated nervous system cannot efficiently learn. Safety, rhythm, and relational connection come before strategy. ✔ 4. “What Happened to You?” vs. “What's Wrong with You?” Shifting from judgment to curiosity changes how we approach: Children Students Teams Ourselves ✔ 5. Early Experience Shapes Long-Term Expression Developmental inputs—especially patterned, early ones— determine which capacities are strengthened. ✔ 6. Repetition Builds Confidence Confidence is not a personality trait. It is neural circuitry built through structured repetition in safe environments. ✔ 7. Story Makes Science Stick From Dr. Perry's experience writing with Oprah: You can't tell everybody everything you know. Impact comes from: One core idea Wrapped in story Delivered with restraint ✔ 8. Information Overload Weakens Learning Depth > Volume Clarity > Density Retention > Impressive Data ✔ 9. Regulation Comes Before Motivation Before goals. Before performance. Before achievement. The nervous system must feel safe. ✔ 10. Season 15's Foundational Question Is the nervous system safe enough to learn? Welcome back to Season 15 of the Neuroscience Meets Social and Emotional Learning Podcast. I'm Andrea Samadi, and here we bridge the science behind social and emotional learning, emotional intelligence, and practical neuroscience—so we can create measurable improvements in well-being, achievement, productivity, and results. When we launched this podcast seven years ago, it was driven by a question I had never been taught to ask— not in school, not in business, and not in life: If results matter—and they matter now more than ever—how exactly are we using our brain to make these results happen? Most of us were taught what to do. Very few of us were taught how to think under pressure, how to regulate emotion, how to sustain motivation, or even how to produce consistent results without burning out. That question led me into a deep exploration of the mind–brain–results connection—and how neuroscience applies to everyday decisions, conversations, and performance. That's why this podcast exists. Each week, we bring you leading experts to break down complex science and translate it into practical strategies you can apply immediately. If you've been with us through Season 14, you may have felt something shift. That season wasn't about collecting ideas. It was about integrating these ideas into our daily life, as we launched our review of past episodes. Across conversations on neuroscience, social and emotional learning, sleep, stress, exercise, nutrition, and mindset frameworks—we heard from voices like Bob Proctor, José Silva, Dr. Church, Dr. John Medina, and others—one thing became clear: These aren't separate tools that we are covering in each episode. They're parts of one operating system. When the brain, body, and emotions are aligned, performance stops feeling forced—and starts to feel sustainable. Season 14 showed us what alignment looks like in real life. We looked at goals and mental direction, rewiring the brain, future-ready learning and leadership, self-leadership, which ALL led us to inner alignment. And now we move into Season 15 that is about understanding how that alignment is built—so we can build it ourselves, using predictable, science-backed principles. Because alignment doesn't happen all at once. It happens by using a sequence. And when we understand the order of that sequence — we can replicate it. By repeating this sequence over and over again, until magically (or predictably) we notice our results have changed. So Season 15 we've organized as a review roadmap, where each episode explores one foundational brain system—and each phase builds on the one before it. Season 15 Roadmap: Phase 1 — Regulation & Safety Phase 2 — Neurochemistry & Motivation Phase 3 — Movement, Learning & Cognition Phase 4 — Perception, Emotion & Social Intelligence Phase 5 — Integration, Insight & Meaning PHASE 1: REGULATION & SAFETY Staples: Sleep + Stress Regulation Core Question: Is the nervous system safe enough to learn? Anchor Episodes Episode 384 — Baland Jalal How learning begins: curiosity, sleep, imagination, creativity Bruce Perry “What happened to you?” — trauma, rhythm, relational safety Sui Wong Autonomic balance, lifestyle medicine, brain resilience Rohan Dixit HRV, real-time self-regulation, nervous system literacy Last week we began with Phase One: Regulation and Safety as we revisited Dr. Baland Jalal's interview from June 2022. EP 384 — Dr. Baland Jalal[i] Dr. Baland Jalal This episode sits at the foundation of Season 15. Dr. Baland Jalal is a Harvard neuroscientist whose work explores how sleep, imagination, and curiosity shape the brain's capacity to learn and create. What stood out to me then — and even more now — is that learning doesn't begin with effort. It begins when the brain is rested, regulated, and free to explore possibility. This conversation reminds us that creativity isn't added later — it's built into the brain when conditions are right. It's here we remember that before learning can happen, before curiosity can emerge, before motivation or growth is possible— the brain must feel safe. And what better place to begin with safety and the brain, than with Dr. Bruce Perry, who we met October of 2021 on EP 168.[ii] EP 385 — Dr. Bruce Perry Dr. Bruce Perry (Episode 168 – October 2021) Dr. Bruce Perry, Senior Fellow of the Child Trauma Academy in Houston, Texas, and Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, joined the podcast to help us better understand how traumatic experiences shape the developing brain. At the time, I was deeply concerned about the generational impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. In one of Dr. Perry's trainings, he referenced research conducted after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, which showed that families exposed to prolonged stress experienced increased rates of substance abuse — not only in those directly affected, but in the next generation as well. As I began hearing reports of rising depression, anxiety, and substance use during the pandemic, I wondered: What could we do now to reduce the long-term neurological and emotional impact on our children, our schools, and future generations? Dr. Perry agreed to come on the show to share insights from his work and to discuss his book, co-authored with Oprah Winfrey: What Happened to You: Conversations on Trauma, Resilience and Healing.[iii] Dr. Bruce Perry challenges one of the most common questions we ask in education, leadership, and parenting. Instead of asking, “What's wrong with you?” he asks, “What happened to you?” In this conversation, we explored how early experiences shape the brain, how trauma disrupts regulation, and why healing begins with rhythm, safety, and connection. You can find a link to our full interview in the resource section in the show notes. This episode anchors Season 15 by reminding us: a dysregulated brain cannot learn — no matter how good the strategy. Let's go to our first clip with Dr. Bruce Perry, and look deeper at how we are all born with potential, but our experience builds the rest.

AABP Executive Director Dr. Fred Gingrich discusses colostrum management programs with Dr. Lisa Gamsjäger, Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University. This episode of Have You Herd? is sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim and the PYRAMID(R) line of vaccines, a premier choice to protect calves from BRD. Get relentless protection at PyramidVaccines.com. According to research studies, approximately 30% of beef calves have failure of passive transfer and are below 10 g/L of IgG. These calves are 8x more likely to have a disease and 19x more likely to experience mortality. There may be some fundamental differences in colostrum for beef calves, and management strategies between the two production systems are vastly different which can present unique challenges for beef producers. Veterinarians are in a unique position to provide consultation to their beef clients to be prepared to intervene with assistance and/or providing a colostrum replacement product. We discuss a study that examined various feeding protocols of colostrum replacer and its impacts on passive transfer, morbidity, mortality and average daily gains. We also discuss areas for future research on beef calf colostrum management and replacement products. Veterinarians should prepare their clients for the upcoming calving season to ensure that calves receive appropriate passive transfer of immunity by proactively discussing these strategies. In this return conversation, Mark Gober opens up about one of the most intense and transformative experiences of his life: a guided ibogaine journey that forced him into direct confrontation with the roots of identity, self-judgment, and inherited fear. What unfolds is not psychedelic glamour or mystical escapism, but a brutal, compassionate reckoning with the architecture of the psyche — from parts work and suppressed rage to ancestral trauma and the meaning of real self-love. Mark describes communing with an intelligence that seemed to know him better than he knew himself, dismantling old narratives while demanding embodiment, responsibility, and integration. This is a raw exploration of what happens when insight becomes unavoidable, when healing moves through the body, and when love arrives in the form of truth.Time Stamps (00:00) Episode Teaser (00:34) Opening Conversation (04:37) Understanding Ibogaine and Its Effects (06:25) The Healing Power of Ibogaine (25:24) The Definition of Self-Love That Was Revealed (33:35) Intergenerational Healing (40:51) Reverence vs. Worship: Understanding the Difference (42:43) Yerasimos' Ayahuasca Experience (46:27) The Role of the Medicine in Personal Development (52:54) The Supplemental Dose: Processing Emotions and Ancestral Trauma (01:00:30) Integration and the Challenges of Returning to Normal Life (01:03:09) The Relationship Between Self-Betrayal and Self-Love (01:15:20) The Importance of Intent and Reverence in Medicine Work (01:22:28) Surrender and Trust: Lessons from the Divine Realm (01:27:25) Setting Intentions and Personal Reflections (01:30:09) The Impact of Social Media and Technology (01:40:37) Voluntarism and Political Philosophy (01:43:49) Personal Growth and SpiritualityGuest Linkshttps://www.markgober.com/ Connect with UsJoin our membership Friends of the TruthRise Above The Herd Take the Real AF Test NowDiscover Your Truth Seeker ArchetypeWatch all our episodesConnect with us on TelegramFollow us on InstagramAccess all our links

What are the pros and cons of detaining young offenders versus emphasizing rehabilitation and community programs? Community Perception: How does public trust (or lack thereof) in the justice system impact the effectiveness of both policing and community safety, according to the experiences shared by the speakers? Equal Application of Law: Chief Chris emphasized the importance of laws being applied "equally with equity." What does this look like in practice, and what barriers exist to achieving it? Role of Social Media: The episode touches on how social media and news highlight negative stories and amplify fear. How do you think this shapes public opinion about policing and crime in your community? Systemic vs. Individual Responsibility: How do larger systemic issues (like generational disinvestment in certain neighborhoods) interact with personal responsibility when it comes to youth crime? Where should change start? Community Policing: Several speakers shared about the power of having officers truly embedded in the community. What are the benefits and potential drawbacks of more “community-oriented” policing? Race and Law Enforcement: The episode challenges the narrative that all issues in policing are strictly racial. How do the speakers suggest we navigate conversations about race, policing, and justice more productively? Redemption and Forgiveness: What does real redemption look like for youth who have made serious mistakes? Should the justice system emphasize second chances, and where is the line drawn? The Power of Conversation: The speakers repeatedly argue that real dialogue—like the one on this podcast—is key to understanding. The following players are discussed:1. Ethan Holliday (SS, Col) - Advanced bat, plus hit tool, developing power, solid athlete2. Kade Anderson (LHP, Sea) - Advanced command, polished pitch mix, competitive edge; mid‑rotation with strikeout upside.3. Tatsuya Imai (RHP, Hou) - Undersized right-handed hitter with a lower three-quarters delivery. 97 to 99 MPH fastball that flattens out due to his arm swing. Plus slider.4. Liam Doyle (LHP, STL) - Swing-and-miss lefty with a deceptive splitter. Could be a high-strikeout SP2 if he stays healthy.5. Kazuma Okamoto (3B, Tor) - Older prospect who demonstrated plus power and a feel to hit in Japan.6. JoJo Parker (SS, Tor) - Loud tools, clean health, and trending trajectory; potential middle-of-the-order bat.7. Ike Irish (C, Bal) - Advanced hit tool, emerging power, and catcher eligibility. Impact upside with multi-category juice.8. Eli Willits (SS, Was) - Speed/OBP shortstop, needs power to unlock fantasy value.9. Aiva Arquette (SS, Mia) - Strong-bodied infielder with power upside and defensive versatility10. Seth Hernandez (RHP, Pit) - 100 MPH fastball and starter traits. Long runway, but top-30 SP ceiling if it clicks.11. Kyson Witherspoon (RHP, Bos) - Premium pitch traits, no pro debut yet.12. Wehiwa Aloy (SS, Bal) - 2025 Golden Spikes winner with power, athleticism, and SEC pedigree. Could be a fantasy shortstop with pop.13. Marek Houston (SS, Min) - High-floor bat with zone control and defensive value.14. Dax Kilby (SS, NYY) - Strong debut with more speed than originally projected; power continues to be a question mark15. Steele Hall (SS, Cin) - 80-speed and emerging power. Contact risk is real, but the tools are loud and fantasy-relevant.16. Gavin Fien (SS, Was) - Advanced bat speed, strong plate discipline, above-average power, versatile defender.17. Gavin Kilen (SS, SF) - High-contact lefty bat, 15+ HR upside, mature plate discipline18. Billy Carlson (SS, CHW) - Bat-to-ball skills and defensive value. Power projection remains limited, but everyday role possible.19. Slater De Brun (OF, TB) - A diminutive, toolsy outfielder with a great-looking swing.20. Jamie Arnold (LHP, ATH) - He has a plus fastball-slider combination but his lower three-quarters delivery might work best in the bullpen.

Welcome back to Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu! In this electrifying continuation of his conversation with geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan, Tom dives into the forces shaping the next era of global power. From the much-debated Thucydides' Trap and the real state of China's future to America's political and demographic crossroads, this episode is a masterclass in understanding the seismic shifts rocking our world. Peter Zeihan makes a compelling case for why China's rise might not be the threat many fear, citing geopolitical bottlenecks, demographic crises, and internal political strife. The conversation then takes a sharp, honest look at America's own challenges—from aging demographics and political party chaos to the hard realities of reindustrialization and immigration reform. Along the way, Tom Bilyeu and Peter Zeihan examine the impact of social media on truth, the lessons (and perils) of historical mass migrations, and whether technology can rescue countries facing population decline. Get ready to have your assumptions challenged and your worldview expanded with practical insights on what's really at stake for the future of nations. Whether you're interested in economics, politics, or the fate of entire civilizations, you won't want to miss this wide-ranging, thought-provoking discussion! Today's guest is Jim Reid, Global Head of Macro Research at Deutsche Bank. In today's episode, Jim walks through lessons from his annual report, The Ultimate Guide to Long-Term Investing, which covers over 200 years of market data from 56 countries. He explains why cash is one of the riskiest long-term assets, how inflation quietly destroys wealth, and why valuation is the single most reliable predictor of long-term returns. He also discusses how fiat money has reshaped bonds, gold, and equities since 1971. To close, Jim reminds us that history consistently rewards investors who buy cheap, diversify globally, and respect long-term market cycles.

We all love the idea of “potential” until it quietly turns into pressure, guilt, and a weird fear of actually trying. Heather Moyse didn't start professional sport until 27 and still became a double Olympic gold medallist. Breaking out of her social safety and truly exploring her potential wasn't easy. We dig into behavioral inertia, self‑sabotage, and the invisible “settings” your environment installs in your brain. Think of this as a mindset update: less motivational quotes, more useful psychology. f you've ever felt stuck in the “nearly” version of your life—nearly starting, nearly committing, nearly backing yourself—this conversation gives you language, mental models, and a few friendly kicks to move. Spot the subtle ways your environment is capping your potential. Replace “be realistic” thinking with experiments that actually feel safe. Build a high‑potential identity without burning out or becoming a robot. Hit play and give your potential something better than another inspirational reel. SPONSORS

Your phone, your lighting, and your WiFi can mess with your sleep and energy more than your diet, and this episode shows you the simplest fixes that actually move the needle. -Watch this episode on YouTube for the full video experience:https://www.youtube.com/@DaveAspreyBPR -Grab a generous discount from BONCHARGE by using code ‘DAVE' on your next purchase: https://boncharge.com/ Host Dave Asprey sits down with Andy Mant, Co-Founder and CEO of BON CHARGE, and Katie Mant, Co-Founder and Chief Visionary Officer, to unpack how modern light, WiFi, and nonstop screen exposure are quietly shaping your sleep, hormones, and energy. After facing their own struggles with fatigue and poor sleep, they built BON CHARGE around science-backed biohacking tools designed to improve sleep, recovery, and overall wellness. They start with blue light at night and content overload, why light acts as biological information, and how simple changes like wearing blue light blocking glasses before bed can shift your circadian rhythm. The conversation moves into EMFs, native versus non-native frequencies, and what happened when they lived in an apartment flooded with WiFi and 5G. Dave shares his DEXA scan showing about 15% lower bone density where he used to carry his phone and explains why he now limits direct exposure. You'll also get a practical breakdown of red light therapy and PEMF, including the difference between visible red and near-infrared light, how dosing affects results, and how mat-based PEMF is used to support relaxation and recovery. This episode stays grounded: you do not have to give up technology, you just have to learn how to hack your environment so it works for your biology instead of against it. You'll Learn: • Why blue light at night can disrupt sleep and circadian rhythm • How light acts as information that shapes hormones and metabolism • Practical EMF reduction strategies you can test immediately • The difference between native and non-native EMFs • Red light vs near-infrared light and how each is used • Why dosing matters with red light therapy • What Dave noticed on his DEXA scan after years of carrying a phone • How PEMF mats aim to support relaxation and recovery Dave Asprey is a four time New York Times bestselling author, founder of Bulletproof Coffee, and the father of biohacking. Peter Schiff explains why today's “better than expected” jobs report is meaningless—and why the real story is the massive downward revisions. The government erased roughly 2.5 million jobs going back to 2019, including about 1.1 million from 2025 and over 800,000 from 2024. That means many of the celebrated “beats” from the past two years were actually misses, and markets were trading on bad data. This episode is sponsored by NetSuite. Download the free “Demystifying AI” at https://netsuite.com/goldSchiff breaks down how automated trading reacts to jobs prints (strong jobs = buy dollars/sell gold), why the birth/death model distorted reality, and why gold and the dollar are no longer reacting the way they used to. He also covers rising oil and oil stocks, why gold and silver miners may hit new highs before the metals, why foreign markets are crushing U.S. stocks year-to-date, and why the dollar index looks set up for a sharper decline. Finally, Schiff argues the crypto crash is the first bubble to pop—an early warning for broader asset bubbles—and explains why tokenized gold is becoming the real “digital money” narrative as Bitcoin's “digital gold” claim fails in real time.Chapters:00:00 Introduction and Opening Remarks00:56 Analyzing the Employment Report03:06 Revisions and Job Market Realities07:17 Impact on Markets and Currency11:41 Oil and Energy Market Trends16:24 Stock Market Performance and Predictions26:06 Economic Data and Debt Discussion31:04 Inflation and Its Consequences34:11 Understanding Poverty and Supply35:52 The Role of the US Dollar in Global Trade37:07 Impact of Dollar Collapse on Global Markets40:11 Trump Administration's Economic Policies41:51 Bitcoin's Decline and Market Bubbles52:21 The Future of Gold and Tokenization58:34 Preparing for Economic CrisisFollow @peterschiffX: https://twitter.com/peterschiffInstagram: https://instagram.com/peterschiffTikTok: https://tiktok.com/@peterschiffofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/peterschiffSign up for Peter's most valuable insights at https://schiffsovereign.comSchiff Gold News: https://www.schiffgold.com/newsFree Reports & Market Updates: https://www.europac.comBook Store: https://schiffradio.com/books#economiccrisis #jobmarketanalysis #goldinvestmentOur Sponsors:* Check out GhostBed: https://ghostbed.com/PETER* Check out TruDiagnostic and use my code GOLD20 for a great deal: https://www.trudiagnostic.comPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Welcome back to Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu! In this episode, Tom sits down with geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan for a fascinating deep dive into the tectonic shifts shaping our world order. Together, Tom Bilyeu and Peter Zeihan unpack why the global landscape is changing—and why it isn't just about any single political figure, but rather the collision of long-standing trends in trade, demographics, and national priorities. You'll hear Peter Zeihan break down how the post–World War II system, built on American-led security and global cooperation, is unraveling amidst demographic decline and shifting alliances. They explore why the current moment might be unlike anything we've seen since the Black Plague, what happens when countries are forced to become economic generalists again, and why U.S. leadership is facing a critical test. Plus, Tom Bilyeu presses Peter on what this means for America's future, global productivity, and the hard choices ahead. Whether you're a geopolitical buff or just eager to understand how economics truly drives world affairs, this episode will challenge your assumptions and give you the tools to see the present—and the future—in a whole new light.
