In today's episode we dive into why you shouldn't just take our word for it, or anyone else's for that matter! We love being part of your journey and sharing with you all what God has placed on our hearts, but we also encourage you to dive deep into scripture and get to know your Father's voice so that you can hear from Him in a unique and personal way! Arise to Life had the privilege of attending the Designed For Life women's conference at James River Church in October. We were so blessed to be poured into by incredible women and God moved big in each of our lives! The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. -John 10:10 This verse describes perfectly the war that is waging all around us. One side brings death and the other brings life. One side breeds fear, while the other brings peace. One side riddles you with anxiety and depression while the other allows you to experience joy no matter your circumstance. No one is immune from the battle because every single person has something valuable inside of them that the enemy hates and wants to destroy. Whether you know it or not, you are engaging in battle every single day so lets make sure we are fighting for the right team! In today's episode we dive in to the ways we battle the spiritual warfare in our own lives and how we armor up for the battles we face. John 16:33 says that in this world we WILL have trouble... We have come to find in our lives that if we aren't in a hard season, we are either coming out of one or going into one. John 16:33 ends by encouraging us to take heart because Jesus has overcome the world. Your hard season and your suffering do not have the last word! We believe that, in the church, you can't be a leader if you aren't first a servant.
