    Barely African Meets TK Paradza

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 15, 2021 54:15

In this episode, Mukuka and Producer Al sit down with TK Paradza - a singer, songwriter, producer and former member of New Zealand boy band ‘Titanium'. In what can only be described as a personal ‘origin story' turned ‘music story', they touched on issues of identity and the significant role that representation plays for people belonging to minority groups. Along with this, they also explore the difficult and at times painful conversations that third culture kids looking to pursue non-traditional careers inevitably have with their traditional immigrant parents. So sit back, relax, grab some tea, and get ready to enjoy part one of this two-part episode special. Thanks for listening!
