We are waking up from this 3D dream state. And this dream is pain. And that pain is here to serve us. But not if we do not see it. I am here to encourage you to look. To see. To feel. To overcome your deep habits of avoidance, because it is awareness that moves us out of our tribal existence, the state of US versus Them. It is the creative imbibing of conscoiusness that dissolves the pain. I am a psychotherapist as well as energetic integrator. I am here to share a bit of my own journey of transformation, as well as insights about a path towards your higher self, our higher reality.
Many of us are so profoundly disappointed in humans and their behaviour, and the disappointment grows unabated. I witness my own egoic states of disappointment float through daily. I suggest this is more an indication of expectations than of what humans should or should not be or do. At this time, humans are what they are supposed to be: We are in pain. That is our reality. That is the 3D existence. So it may serve you, heal you, to heal your expectations versus make rage or grief-filled demands on human beings. I suggest that in the place of adding in more fear/rage/shame to this global egoic soup, we may better serve ourselves and our evolutionary path to bring in the more conscious energy if acceptance. As the planetary energies of consciousness rise, we witness ego's cookie-cutter, knee-jerk response - revolt. I suggest we meet this inevitable backlash by doubling down the healing energies of acceptance/presence/consciousness. In doing so we heal the fear in our own beings, as well as heal shared ancient global densities of this dimension.
We exist in perpetual disappointment and we don't recognize it. We live in a culture of complaint, heavy with disapproval, and convinced that each one of us is the purveyor of truth and right. To deepen our seeing of this is another opportunity to bring awareness, consciousness to that very camouflaged technology of the 3rd dimension - disappointment. It wafts through us, around us, follows us like a persistent miasma. I am here to assist in the ongoing reveal. That to believe your disappointment is to tranquilize yourself. You fall into the deep, deep slumber that is this pain-filled dimension. This is not to judge that state we all live in, but to bring a seeing, which means to bring consciousness. Which means it becomes an opportunity for our ongoing and mindful expansion. The modular series - From Tribe to Collective - is now published. You can also access it through www.tribetocollective.com This is a 15+ hour video and audio series that is meant to share the wisdoms and frequencies that have come through me, fed my process and that I deliver directly to my clients over the last 10 years. It shares not only what I have learned but what I continue to teach about gently and authentically healing the trauma of this dimension. It is there to gradually draw us into what it feels like to not be victim to our pain, but to use our pain for our process of healing and expansion. It provides ongoing reflections, exercises, yoga and meditations, to assist in activating the awareness within, which is to activate our power of transformation within. It is here to provide a transmission as well as reminders and support throughout the daily, weekly, yearly challenges of seeing past the heaviness of this reality. It is here to assist us in finding the capacity to SEE our pain, not believe or pain, and therefore launch and nourish our process of expansion, consciously lifting ourselves out of this pain-filled reality. It is shared with love.
Family Drama....Fifty feet wide and a mile deep. But I am here to suggest that if you are on this journey, that even that family bedrock of pain and meaning can be dismantled, can be transformed. Death is often the cue for many of us that we are now free to dump the meanings we have been carrying around like smelly old luggage; the meanings we give to our vulnerabilities, our wounds, and our suffering, in our relationships or elsewhere. Bringing in awareness, love and compassionate disbelief along with the growing amount of healing energy available to so many of us at this time, provides opportunity for dismantling the meaning making, and therefore the painful imprints, that our tribal bodies hold. This awareness, this deep seeing, provides opportunity to liberate ourselves from painful attachments and meaning before death arrives. The death of the other, the death of ourselves. While meaning provides poetic and artistic food for our sentimental fodder, and even a temporary tool of awareness, it is ultimately another density to be dissolved on our path towards liberation. This is a very personal sharing of my journey with my biological father as I accompanied him on his passing out of this dimension. I share with great humility, vulnerability and with the invitation to not look away.
We Humans are meaning-making machines. And the meaning we have given the pain of our existence has been vital in organizing this chaotic and uncomfortable reality. We pride ourselves, ensconce ourselves, envelope ourselves in the the meaning-making machineries of our arts and culture, of our politics and policies, in the assessment of our intimacies. I would suggest that on this journey, meaning is another landscape of 3 dimensional infrastructure that provides great potential in seeing where we anchor ourselves to this pain-filled, pain driven 3 dimensional reality. Meaning making may be another attachment to, another re-entrenchment in, the density of this 3D existence. This episode is closely linked, and serves as, an introduction to Episode 15 - Till Death Do Us Part.
There are a million little egoic infrastructures keeping us locked in, addicted, to this 3 dimensional reality. Identity is one of them. Identity is about our place in the tribe. More specifically it is about finding a safe place in the tribe. Identity asks those outside of us to validate our existence. Dismantling a dimension asks us to see how and where we hold/host the identity machine in our beings and utilize that seeing to our advantage on this journey. By observing the nature of identity in our behaviours, thoughts and feelings, we can bring the density into view. Instead of directing our energy on subconscious identity creation, maybe we use that energy to bring awareness, consciousness, into this tribal construct. What decisions do you make based how you want others to perceive you? I believe anyone who would be listening to this has reflected on this before. The next step is, where are you holding that fear/rage/shame in your being? Can you see/feel the density of this tribal agenda take up space in your mind and body? Can you feel the weight of it? The tremor? The pull? Can you get in touch with the fear driving this 3D agenda?
There have been two stages of abandonment in our journey into and through the 3rd dimension. First, we had to leave ourselves, to leave our deeply connected multidimensional Self, in order to experience the limitations, the confines, of this dense dimension. And secondly, every time we have rejected ourselves, betrayed ourselves, shamed ourselves, denied ourselves, in this life or any other, we now have to reclaim that abandoned part. To see the unseen within. This existence is so painful, is so overwhelmingly uncomfortable, that we have needed to leave much of that pain behind - leave it in the recess of our bodies, the recesses of our physical, emotional, energetic memories - throughout much of human history in order to just exist, to survive. But now we are here to return to our lost, forgotten, abandoned parts of our being. We are here to accept all the things that have been unacceptable to date. We are here to see all that we have left unseen. And this human existence is not PG13. This is a rated R. So we are here to learn how to see it all. Expand in knowing how to see, expand in seeing it. Expand in loving it. For seeing is to heal. To see is to love. To see is to un-abandon.
It is so so normal to go looking for others to assist us when we are in pain. We need to go looking for others to assist us when we are in pain. But there is a subtlety that I want to bring into attention. And that is the victim story we could be dragging with us when we look for help. Because sometimes the asking for help is actually a loud cry to be rescued. To be saved. We have been doing that for hundreds and thousands of years. And of course we have. It has been, and continues to be, an extremely painful existence. We know that we will do anything to get out of the suffering, out of the discomfort. We will do anything and look to anyone who can provide us some relief. But I believe that it is really, really important to see when we are bringing in assistance and when we are handing over our power. Because if we are handing over our power then we continue to sit in the story of powerlessness. We continue to create that reality. And from that reality it is not possible to find out how powerful you truly are. It is not possible to find the creator within. Not if we hand over the creative power to someone else. So bring people in. But they are not there to do it for us. They are there to reveal the parts of me that are there to be seen by me when I am ready to look. They are there to reflect back to me the knowing that is already within. Whoever you bring in, is an aspect of you. A reflection of you. You pick the time when you are ready to fully see Them/You.
We have an ancient history of moving through piles and piles of human pain. And it can often feel like we are never going to become what we know we are capable of becoming. And of course it looks like the shit has hit the fan on a global scale these days. If you are trying to contribute to a shift in consciousness, then don‘t try and solve a problem. Just look at the fear in your own heart and figure out how to love it unreservedly. It is only your egoic mind that tries to tell you there is something scary to be fixed out in the world today. Everything you need to work with, everything you need to see, is within your own being. The drama out there is only a distraction. Allow the shit to fly. Observe your need to understand. Observe you need to judge. Be still. I recommend if you are just beginning to listen to these episodes that you start with Episode 1 and move through them sequentially as each episode builds on the previous. Enjoy.
On this journey, we are on the project of bringing awareness to everything. Everything within our Selves. And, our Selves are filled to the gills with repressed emotion. Repressed. Meaning unseen. Meaning outside of awareness. So how do we bring awarenes to a repressed emotion? We have to find a way to get in there and feel them. Or we have to get in there and be sure not to get in the way when the repressed emotion finally makes its way to the surface. So yes, we have to feel. But not how we have historically gone about the very uncomfortable task of feeling. We have to get in there in a whole new way. I am suggesting we may need to create a whole new relationship with our feelings. At least many of us do. You'd think it would be so easy, but we are so resistant to feeling and don't even know that we are resisting. I see it constantly in the work with my clients and with myself. In the video modules, which will be published some time in 2021 (available on tribetocollective.com) module three will be discussing the nature of feelings; the importance of seeing the feeling on our journey to consciousness, how to get into the feeling, how not to be afraid of the feeling, how to get help with the feeling, how to change one's relationship to the feeling. Because if we continue to keep those puppies in the basement, they will continue to make themselves seen/felt in ways that we really don't want or like. They construct our thoughts, our behaviours, our perceptions and we don't even know they are doing it. We want to clean the basement, clean the attic, bring light into the dark. And bringing awareness to the feeling, I believe, is an important ingredient on this journey.
Here in North America, and I believe it is safe to assume in many other parts of the planet, we have been dominated by our mind. And our mind and nervous system are continuously trying to tell us that there is something going on. All of the time. Well, if we arrive at the understanding, some understanding, that there is a lot less - or maybe nothing - going on, then we need to bring in the power that continues to tell us, remind us, reveal to us that there is nothing happening. Traditionally it has been what we have historically called masculine elements - thinking, doing, survival - that have dominated our reality for the last couple of thousand years. Now, at this time of letting go, we are in need of inviting what we have historically called the feminine elements to come in. These would include feeling, intuiting, loving, nothing. What I believe many have done, what I did, was underestimate the enormous power that lies in the feminine. There is so much happening in what our minds would call nothing. On this journey we are handing the reins over to that nothing and learning to leave her in the driver's seat.
Really, there is nothing happening. Your mind is trying telling you that there is something happening. My mind is trying to tell me there is something going on. Then our minds work together to validate each other so that we continue to believe there is something going on. But since we know that the mind is not a valid source of wisdom, I would suggest that maybe there is a lot less going on than what your mind is telling you. And that maybe, on this journey, there is actually nothing going on. This can be a useful concept to anchor or awakening reality to, especially when our minds can be so invested in getting us to stew in our drama stories, over and over and over again. This is a concept that I share with my clients and I encourage you to continue to reflect and remember and remind yourself that there is most likely a whole lot of nothing happening. Which then forces us to get really still, really present, and feel/look at the parts of us that feel/think there is so much going on, instead of following them around the block a hundred times. We will continue to forget that there is a lot less happening to us than our minds and pain infrastructure want us to believe. Which is why we need to set up our reminders. To remind ourselves of our truths so that we don't get lost in our dream state for too too long. Among many other tools I invite you to use this podcast as part of that system of reminders. Because your egoic mind is determined to make you forget who you really are.
Our whole inner world is a little bit nuts. I believe it is part of the function of being here. We are here to experience the chaos of our nuttiness in order to crawl our way back into order. But we need to get really comfortable sitting quietly with our inner lunatic in order to facilitate the dissolution of that density within. Most people get a little bit squirrelly when they have to sit quietly, and that is because the pain stories inside are doing everything they can to keep you from actually seeing them. I invite you to see it for what it is - another state of avoidance, and another opportunity to creatively bring consciousness into the chaos in your own being.
It is our mind that perceives the world. But the mind is a tool, a projector, of our repressed feelings and core beliefs. It is a projector of our pain. Then maybe, on this journey, our mind is no longer a reliable source. And maybe it is time to get really, really creative in releasing ourselves from the dominion of the mind over my reality.
Our social, political and religious organization is tribal. As they exist today, these systems are held together by pain, because humans are pain and organize around and according to their pain. It is how each one of us manifests our pains of aloneness within the group. It is in these tribal systems that we hold the deep story of Us and Them. The story of separation. It is in these groups where we play out the fear of abandonment. But now, on this journey, it is how we experience the tribe that reveals to us where we are holding the states of aloneness, the states of separation within our own being. The journey of consciousness asks us to bring awareness to where we host the pain infrastructure within.
The pain of separation is yours. The transformation to connectivity is yours. Your route through pain to connectivity is to heal all the parts of yourself that have been left alone. That feel alone. That believe they are alone. You create the state of connection by healing all the states of aloneness that you host within your own being. And all the energy that you release from holding the state of aloneness gets channelled into your journey of expansion.
After 16 years of living with the pain, working with the pain, transmuting the pain, assisting others in transmuting their pain, it took a sudden journey into a deep well to reveal to me the truth of where I am. Some call it hell. I did, for about 5 minutes.
On the journey towards consciousness, I believe we are being asked to look into every crevice, every cranny, behind every closed door, under every rug. To look at all of the hiding places..... that are within you. Your habits of distraction are deeper than you think and your pain is even deeper. We need to roll up our sleeves and get dirty with our own mess, because the number one distraction is looking at everyone else's. And that is the biggest delusion of all. The biggest egoic trap there is. I believe that seeing, really seeing, the ways that we distract, avoid, deny our pain, is an essential component to transforming that pain into love, density into expansion. And this transformation process is the creative process of expansion. It is expanding the dense pain-riddle state of the 3rd Dimension into a higher state of consciousness. But the expansion is not happening out there. The whole thing, the entire story, all the drama, is happening within your own being. And everything out there is to teach you exactly that. We will continue to forget who we are and the path on which we walk. Which is why we need to set up our reminders. To remind ourselves of our truths so that we don't get lost in our dream state for too, too long. Among many other tools, I invite you to use this podcast as part of that system of reminders. Because your egoic mind is determined to make you forget who you really are. This podcast is a conceptual framework for a series of video modules. This series provides a deepening of the framework as well as a practical guide to developing your process for assisting you in moving along the journey of bringing in consciousness to heal our 3D trauma. The video modules will start to be published by December 2021.
