The dude (@omarballesteros1 on Instagram) referred me to a guy who was interested in some of the stuff I sell after he saw what I sold to Omar. The dude (@Billydlc10) then put me on to selling through Twitter. I never thought of this but it happened and it has been a great start nonetheless. Great people doing great things! I talk a little bit about my weekend at a country music festival. Networking is huge as a reseller since people will be interested in what you are selling. This leads to more local sales and a bigger customer base!
I picked up only a few items today at the thrifts but they are worth some good money and have big margins. Always a good sign! Instagram: @DrakeTalks

I had my first negative feedback today... and here is what I have to say about it.

Wesley is the eighth guest on "RESELLING WITH DRAKE TALKS". Wesley is a 25 year old hustler from California who works from home with the use of a laptop and technology. He recently started diving into reselling a few months ago and has been killing it. It just proves that reselling can be done by anybody who is willing to put in the work. In this episode, we switch it up a bit and have him ask me some questions for the first 20 minutes so I do a lot of the talking. The last 10 minutes are more focused on him and his experiences with reselling. TONS OF VALUE in the last 10 minutes. I hope you got some value from this episode. If you'd like to learn more from this natural-born hustler, check out his website (www.mymillennialhustle.com). My Instagram: @DrakeTalks My YouTube Channel: Drake Talks
Darien Edwards is the seventh guest on "RESELLING WITH DRAKE TALKS". Darien is a 24 year old marine from Virginia. He does reselling while also being in the military. I could not tell you how he does it but he is a hustler, which is why we met through FlipFlip! Darien is a big-time sneakerhead and focuses his reselling hustle around shoes. He has limited time and storage while being in the military but he makes it work and has found shoes to be the most practical way for him. Go follow him on Instagram (@Darientbe) and shoot him a DM if you have any questions for him. If you are in the military or are interested in reselling sneakers, he's the man to go to! My Instagram: @DrakeTalks My YouTube Channel: Drake Talks
Rose is the sixth guest on "RESELLING WITH DRAKE TALKS". Rose is a 25 year old reseller mom who absolutely needs to be applauded. It is tough enough to be a reseller nowadays but as a mom, it requires a lot of dedication which she shows through her hustle. We did this podcast with zero plans and tried to make it as raw as possible. We end up chatting about Poshmark since that is her bread-and-butter. For all the reseller moms out there, she is a great person to relate to! Go check her out on Instagram (@Mrs_Finds). My Instagram: @DrakeTalks My YouTube Channel: Drake Talks
Gil is the fifth guest on "RESELLING WITH DRAKE TALKS". Gil is a 29 year old reseller from New York who works a full-time job AND resells. It's funny because our conversation was completely raw. I had some questions written down that I was going to ask Gil but ended up not asking them at all since the conversation was flowing into amazing topics that a lot of you need to hear. He is a part of FlipFlip discord and that is how we met. Resellers must network and help each other to get to where we need to be. There's enough room for all of us to eat in this game. Go check him out on Instagram (@Sourced2sell) as he is always open to helping anybody who shoots him a DM and a follow! My Instagram: @DrakeTalks My YouTube Channel: Drake Talks
Ivan Castaneda is the fourth guest on "RESELLING WITH DRAKE TALKS". Ivan is a 25 year old hustler from California who owns his own pest control business AND resells full-time. This guy is the real deal. He is easily the biggest hustler I have ever met. I've gotten to know him really well since we are both a part of FlipFlip reseller group. He is a father of a beautiful 8 month old daughter. Go check him out on Instagram (@Deals_On_Demand_) as he is the king of local flips. He can find ANYTHING locally and flip it for some serious coin. My Instagram: @DrakeTalks My YouTube Channel: Drake Talks
Dylan is the third guest on "RESELLING WITH DRAKE TALKS". Dylan is a full-time reseller who has been reselling for many years. He created the reseller group "FlipFlip" which is a discord full of 200+ members. It has grown tremendously over the past few months. I joined the group about a month after I started taking reselling seriously and it has been the best investment I have made by far. It is a one-stop shop if you have any questions about ANYTHING; someone will have an answer for you. The knowledge is invaluable and for an annual cost of $250 (what I paid), comes out to roughly $0.69 a day. One flip from the group can pay for a few months worth of the membership cost. He documents all of the info on the group on his Instagram page (@FlipFlip). Go show him some love! I apologize for my audio on this podcast. I tried using a new mic to record but it didn't sound as good as I wanted it to. The next podcast with FlipFlip in the future will have amazing audio, I promise! Just look aside the audio and listen to the insane value that is being discussed. My Instagram: @DrakeTalks My YouTube Channel: Drake Talks
Joseph Sawicki is the second guest on "RESELLING WITH DRAKE TALKS". Joseph is a full-time reseller from Maryland who has been in the reselling game for 5 years. He documents every single day of his reselling life on his Instagram page (@Charmcitypicker). The content he provides is insanely educational and he is always open to help you with any questions you have as he has seen A LOT in the 5 years of reselling. Go show him some love! My Instagram: @DrakeTalks My YouTube channel: Drake Talks Much love to you for tuning in. I hope you got some value from it!
Working to build capital is not easy by any means. If you want to build capital quicker, you must either A) Work more hours at an easy job that pays mediocre or B) Work at a very strenuous job that pays well and requires hard physical labor. If you want the cheese, you gotta bite the bullet. I have worked easy jobs AND hard jobs. It’s not easy by any means but I will tell you that it IS worth it.
Tyler Williams is the first guest on "RESELLING WITH DRAKE TALKS". Tyler is an 18 year old reseller from California who just recently quit his job to do reselling full-time. He is a freshman in college and continues to document his journey on his Instagram page (@flippingit_). He sells anything he can get his hands on and absolutely crushes it. His content is full of value, especially since he breaks down every sale with the buy cost, shipping cost, PayPal fees, eBay fees, and net profit. Go show him some love! My Instagram: @DrakeTalks My YouTube channel: Drake Talks
I HIGHLY suggest that every time you stumble upon a weird item or a large item that you search the sold comps on eBay. You will be surprised. The more brand recognition you have, the more items you will source, the more sales you will make. Continue to search items on eBay as you will build to your knowledge on what sells and what doesn’t. You can never learn enough.
I break down how to start reselling with very little money. You can apply what I talk about in this podcast to any budget you have. I recommend starting with at least $50 but it can be done with even less. Trust me, it can be done! You can find me on Instagram @DrakeTalks
I dive deep into why my sales popped like a balloon today! It was a good day for eBay and every other platform. I am making a YouTube video that should be dropping on 2/20/2019 hopefully. I’m going to put a lot of effort into this one so please stay tuned for it! My YouTube channel is called “Drake Talks” as well. Much love ❤️
I’ve had a bad couple days of sales. Today they bounced back pretty well and i am excited to share what I sold with you! Here are the items I sold and the buy cost to sale cost. Instagram: @DrakeTalks
The resell game is not over saturated. There will always be more deals, more opportunities, more money to be made. It won’t stop. Supply and demand will always be there. It is about ADAPTING. I am traveling in a blizzard to my thrifts and retail stores to see what I can pick up. I’m skipping class today to do this too. Priorities! Instagram: @DrakeTalks
I explain my difficulties with uploading a YouTube video of a screen recording I did for poshmark. I speak about what I did wrong and what I learned so you don’t make the same mistake that I did. I also copped some makeup in hopes of good resell and a quick flip. Peace out
If you aren’t already working hard on the weekends, YOU NEED TO BE! Stay on track with a great plan on how to use your weekends as efficient as possible. If you are working a 9-5 job during the week, the weekends can be a great time to get a lot of work done since you are available. I discuss my all-day trips to source in nearby cities, how to manage time with listing/pictures, and giving up leisure time to get what you need to get done accomplished. Follow me on Instagram: @DrakeTalks
I share what I picked up at the thrifts today. I haven’t been out thrifting for 3-4 days now and I’ve been itching to snag some #MeatyMargins for cheap....and I did it! We killed it today. Listen to what I picked up and you’ll be able to know what to look for next time you are at the thrifts. These are some weird items but they are common so you SHOULD be on the lookout for them as they are nice for my sale! Let’s learn together. Follow me on Instagram and DM me what you thought about this episode: @DrakeTalks - I would love to hear your feedback
I have a special guest Adam Martin on the podcast. We discuss how to get started on a lifestyle change, how to be disciplined, and how to become the best version of yourself. It may not be easy but it definitely is worth it. We also cover why it is so important to document what you are doing. Take what you will from this episode and try it out for yourself. You will find that starting and taking action is the best way to learn lessons. Adam’s Instagram: @Adam__Martin27 Drake’s Instagram: @DrakeTalks
I talk about how you should be focusing on including the best keywords for your item in the title AND description. The more, the better. Depth is key so make sure you use as many characters as possible in your eBay listing title (Max 80 characters). Instagram: @DrakeTalks
I go on a rant in my car in a parking lot. I explain why the eBay global shipping program SHOULD BE USED BY EVERY EBAY SELLER. I hope you had a great week! Go show some love on my Instagram @DrakeTalks & YouTube (Link In Instagram Bio
I explain how I determine what to price my listings at for the buy-it-now option. You can either do auction format or buy-it-now (one fixed price). I try to help you get the most money out of your items while also getting volume and keeping buyers interested. Instagram: @DrakeTalks
I recap what I had for sales yesterday and what I have in store for today. I recorded this podcast on the AirPods and want to see what you think about the audio. If you prefer the AirPod audio or the normal phone audio, let me know! DM me on Instagram @DrakeTalks
I go into detail on what platforms have worked best for me as a reseller. I am explaining the differences between them, why they work good for me, what the downsides are, and what you can expect when selling on them. Instagram is @DrakeTalks
I explain why documenting with social media is necessary in today’s world. I keep it very generalized and don’t go into too much detail...BUT I assure you as a listener that documenting content is NOT selfish. Some people think it is selfish to document their everyday life but it is so much more than that. Listen to why it can bring so much value to people and truly make an impact.
I go on a rant in the middle of an empty gym at 9:11 pm. Please, just start taking action. Shift your perspective on life. JUST DO. Instagram: @DrakeTalks
I try to tackle the question head-on. If you’ve been on the fence about starting reselling, give this a listen and reflect on yourself. I hope this helps you guys! Much love. Instagram is @DrakeTalks
I explain, without editing, my goals for this summer. As resellers, we get caught up in business and the constant grind. Sometimes we need to change our surroundings and do what we feel is calling us. I have been feeling the call to travel and in this episode, I break down what goals I feel I NEED to accomplish this summer.
This is a raw talk with no editing and no notes. I speak off the top of my head on what to look for when sourcing at thrift stores. It is a basic breakdown of what I do and what I look for which has yielded good margins for me.
I answer the big question that I got on my Instagram page... Should entrepreneurs go to college? I say my thoughts raw and from the heart. No notes, nothing.
