Before you launch into Part 2 of my conversation with Rebecca Sperry, aka Socked In….. if this is the first time you've listened to Guides Gone Wild, or if you missed my last episode, I HIGHLY suggest you go back and listen to the last episode first. This is the second part of a long-form conversation I had with Rebecca, and while you don't necessarily need to hear her back story to appreciate what you're about to hear, it will (for sure) give you even more context and make this episode that much more powerful and inspiring.I also want to throw a trigger warning out there. Rebecca and I talk about cancer in this one. A LOT.Please, please, follow Rebecca @SockedInHikes on Instagram, and from there you can access all of her good stuff from her bio links. And please, PLEASE, get your mammograms and other preventative tests. A lot of us, myself included, put stuff on hold during COVID, but it's time to stop making excuses, pick up the damn phone, and get on the schedule.I hope you'll share this episode with friends or family members who might need to hear Rebecca's message, or direct them to RebeccaSperry.com. ANNOUNCEMENT! Dissolve-It-All - breaking down scar tissue, inflammation and calcification PUFA Protect - Eliminating a lifetime of a high PUFA diet Use discount code EHR15! Today we had Dr. Jeff Fisher on the show from Fisher Chiropractic. If you'd like to purchase one of his devices you can use code EHR10 to get a discount. I HIGHLY recommend picking one up!! About 5 years ago I had an injury in the gym while doing bent over rows. I've told this story before but I was in the wrong position and I knew it but I kept going anyway. Bad decision. Instead of doing 10 reps I thought I'd do just 5. On the 4th I knew I should have stopped, instead I pushed through and forced one more rep. That's when it happened. I felt a major separation in my low back and then a sense of warmth and then I felt it getting tight and seizing up on me. I came to find out much later through some testing that I had a 7mm herniated disc. I've been dealing with it for years and now I've found Fisher Traction it's helped me SO much. If you have back pain, sciatica, a herniated disc I would highly recommend combining a tool you can utilize at home along with regular chiropractic care. It's a game changer. You'll definitely want to hear this show....even if you have no injuries and want to be flexible and nimble into your older years. On Last Thing! As part of the rich buffet of joy that MS lays out for us, problems with your gut and pooping have to be right at the top of the charts - or the shit-list, if you will.Just to state it for the record, not everyone with MS will have these issues - as we know, MS isn’t a one-size-fits-all deal. The relay team is made up of 19 runners hand-selected from a pool of applicants nationwide. Matt is running the MS Run The US relay to inspire those who have been recently diagnosed and support those living with MS who have not been as fortunate as him. Tamara Sellman was last on the FUMS podcast back on Episode 31 - when she was talking about sleep disorders and her professional life as a medical board-certified sleep technologist and sleep educator. It was during her training that she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. A widely published writer in the years following her diagnosis in 2013, Tamara wrote the collection of prose and poetry which makes up her "hybrid memoir", Intention Tremor, which was published in early 2021. We talk about why she writes, why she writes about MS in particular, and the difficulties of launching her first book during a global pandemic. Topics covered in this episode include: A brief recap of Tamara's diagnosis story Why she chooses to write about MS Tamara's unusual book tour! In this episode, I share how I've shifted my habits and way of living since moving to Texas from NYC. While I used to believe in hurrying, busy-ness, and pursuing more, I've recently shifted my mindset to being content with simplicity. From prioritizing my quiet time with God, allowing the space for slowness, and shifting how I spend my time, I've tried to embrace a slower life. This is Episode #28. Brandon LaGreca was on episode #22 where we discussed Acupuncture, Eastern Medicine and his book about EMFs and Cancer. If you haven’t listened to that episode, I HIGHLY recommend you pause and go back, because it will give a great foundation about who Brandon is, and why we are so grateful to hear from him again! Today, we continue the conversation about cancer, but with some specificity to the things we have learned about Covid19, and our immune system, over the past year. Brandon, as an Acupuncturist in East Troy, Wisconsin has committed his work to creating “empowered patients”, or people who are educated, encouraged and challenged to take their health into their own hands and navigate the myriad options before them with intelligence and peace. Brandon is so brilliant and I am excited to introduce him, for round 2!

Here is my honest review of Disney’s Float Autism Movie Disney shorts. I did a review recently about Disney’s Loop autism movie and I totally loved it, Disney really nailed it on that short film. It then suggested another one to me called Float. Now Disney have made several movies called ‘shorts’ on their Disney+ platform and they seem to be fantastic. I watched the 9 min Disney Float film, about a father and his child who has the ability to float in mid air. This causes people to point and stair and judges and eventually segregate them from playing the the local park. It gets to a point where the father shouts ‘why cant you just be normal’ and the kid deflates and becomes super vulnerable. But the metaphorical story behind this simple yet effective film is that, this child is seem as ‘not normal’ because he has some ability that is different to the other children. this can be related to autism and other learning difficulties that makes children different to the typical child. In the end the father embraces the difference and realises the love that he shares for his child and the child is able to be happy and play where he wants in the park regardless of the stairs. I HIGHLY recommend watching this one! HASH TAGS: #0127 #Autism #ActuallyAutistic --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/theaspieworld/support

Hey Everyone! After allowing myself a few days a chill out a get some perspective on life (which I HIGHLY recommend), I'm back to talk at you and remind us that while we may have infinite options, we only have a finite amount of time. What we choose to do with our time is completely up to us and it's sometimes helpful to take a step back and open your eyes and mind to the plethora of possibilities that constantly surround us. When we find ourselves struggling with the same obstacles on repeat, it's important to remember that there is always another way to solve the puzzle and get through to the other side. ALSO, please let me know if you wanna hit up an escape room when we are legally allowed to gather and heavily breathe with each other in the confines of an enclosed space. Give yourself a break. You're already killin' it. Talk to you soon! xoxo FIND ME at wendistarling.com *Patreon*TikTok*Fan Page*Instagram*

Welcome back to our weekend Cabral HouseCall shows! This is where we answer our community's wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging questions to help people get back on track! Check out today's questions: Chris: I have candida in the gut, throat and tongue as well as skin breakouts. Currently follow a vegan diet, no grains, just fruits and vegetables. When I go on a juice fast for 3 -4 days, while doing enemas, skin always clears up. When I reintroduce foods, breakouts come back. This leads me to believe that maybe I have low stomach acid, thus the reason I thrive when juicing, I am not able to fully digest the food. I know you've mentioned HCL supplements and Digestive enzymes help. Will the HCL actually increase stomach acid long term, even after I stop taking the supplements or will they only help while taking the supplements? And, will digestive enzymes become a crutch and my body could become dependent on them? Mo: Hey Dr. Cabral, what are your thoughts on trying to add muscle with a low carb, high protein, semi high fat diet? I have not tried to gain muscle in almost a decade so I'm very novice and Ive been hearing and reading that a high protein, high carb diet is the best for gaining muscle (also easiest). Any tips? I feel like I'm in your shoes when you first started, I'm looking to go from 180lbs, 6'3 to 195 - 200lbs, naturally. I'm not in a rush either. The last time I did this was when I was 19-21 and unfortunately I went the anabolic route and got up to 255lbs but thats not the type of body I want this time. I know it will take a much longer time now. I also know you will say to listen to your TT episodes which I certainly have but I will again, however, any additional off the top of your mind advice would be greatly appreciated! As always, love your work and everything you do for the community.Cheers Kathryn: I know you recommend Infrared Saunas as a means of detoxification. Are there any concerns with EMF? Imogen: If one is avoiding fermented foods while healing the gut (as recommended by my health coach) would this include Tempeh that is COOKED? Or apple cider vinegar that is added to a broth? I might be entirely incorrect but was thinking perhaps the bacteria would have been killed in the heating/cooking process... (or maybe not...) you would be the best person to ask! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge Berna: Good Afternoon,Our pediatrician, albeit without formal diagnosis, treating our 6 yo son for PANDAS. We are also exploring homeopathic treatment options for our child. Do you work with any PANDAS patients?Thank you,Berna Samantha: Dear Dr Cabral,Thank you not only for your willingness to share your knowledge but also for your genuine passion to want to help people. You're a rare example to our youth that it's possible to attain success by working hard, following your passion, and conducting business the right way as opposed to one driven by greed.I took your advice and ran the big 5. I discovered things within these labs that have been causing my health issues for the past 10 years! I HIGHLY recommend to anyone listening to lose the skepticism or debate and run the labs! It's expensive but will save you so much money in the long run....pay now or pay later for "sick care." It's the best investment you will ever make. Now to my question. My pelvic floor therapist recommended a yoni egg for a tight pelvic floor which could be leading to chronic hip and back pain. She says I hold tension there like some hold tension in their shoulders. I debated a long time before submitting this question but I really wanted to see if you had any insight.Thank you so much in advance!
