Gun and Gear Podcast from an English immigrant to the United States of America! Firearm related Acoutrement Reviews both Long and Short Term!
I'm still in the phase of testing my motovlogging gear and refining it; for this vlog it is as follows: Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet GoPro Hero 8 GoPro Media Mod GoPro Mount pack (I used the curved one for a chin mount, then used Sugru glue to mount) Purple Panda Lavalier Mic along with the provided TRS to TRRS adapter Today's vlog is really just me rambling about nothing and trying to figure out the best settings for the Hero 8 PS: I do have a set of ND Filters on the way and I'll post a review of them as soon as they arrive (no ETA at this time)! Check out http://www.EnglishmanInTheUSA.net
Just posting a quick update! With recent events, I haven't been out to the Range much, but recently have been out and about on my motorcycle! http://www.EnglishmanInTheUSA.net Enjoy!
Having done some trading, I picked up the Sig P365 NRA Edition - basically, that means it comes in a Coyote colour with 3 magazines instead of two! This video really is a 'First Impressions' as I've only put 250 rounds through this firearm! Additionally, I've carried it only for 1 day in a Tulster IWB - linked below (reviews to come)! Hope you enjoy!
Since switching from the G19 to my Sig P320, I found the P320 to be just as reliable as any Glock (and I own a few)! I discuss my carry method for both the P320 and the Shield Performance Centre! Here are some of the items I discuss: CYA Holster for Shield 45 BlackPoint Tactical Leather Wing Holster Original SOE - Cobra Rigger's Belt 5.11 Tactical Belt
February 2019 Ok, so I got my RIA 10mm back from an expensive round of fixes by the local Gunsmith. I put a few rounds downrange and it functioned perfectly! Here are my thoughts on this budget 10mm!
Feb 2019 So, after hitting just over 1000 rounds, the fun and games begin again! Thanks for watching!
January 2019 1000 Rounds Later So, having put a total of 1000 rounds of various brands and types of ammo through this - I'm still having good luck with it! The fixes that RIA applied appear to be holding up! More to follow...
May 2016 Warranty Return Day 42 So, 6 weeks after sending my RIA 1911 back to RIA for Warranty Return work, they returned it to me having fixed it! Hope you find this video useful!
April 2016 Warranty Return Day 1 Approximately 500-700 Rounds later, I reached out to RIA and spoke with someone in their Warranty Department! Thanks for watching!
March 2016: Having owned the the RiA for a month at this point, I had taken the time to put various types of ammunition through it! Even though I had no intention of carrying this firearm, I did want to see how it would handle different flavours of ammo, so I purchased different brands of FMJ and JHP! Hope you find this interesting and useful! Stay Safe!!
In this episode, I give a short Bio of myself and then include Part 1 of a 6 part Saga starting two years ago ( February 2016) on my RIA 10mm Government 1911. You'll notice the resolution of the first few videos doesn't match with my introduction; this is because I downloaded directly from YouTube! As soon as I finish all of my YouTube 'Downloads' and my Podcast is in sync with my YouTube channel, my video resolution will be back to where it should be (1080/4K). Have a great day!
Welcome to my Podcast! Primarily, my podcast will be focussing on gun and gear reviews along with the the odd 'shop' or online store review! As the weather becomes warmer, I may do a few moto-vlogs, but I honestly haven't figured out how to get semi-decent sounds from my helmet mounted mic yet! Who am I? Well, having been raised in the UK, I have lived in the USA for just over 20 years now! I do enjoy living and working over here and, (because of the consistent weather where I am) I get more opportunities to pursue my secondary hobby - motorcycling! What Next? Since coming to the USA, I've become even more interested in firearms and have specifically taken part in different types of competitions; while I don't compete anymore, I do try to take classes on a fairly regular basis and I'm always interested in finding ways to enhance my carry-experience! As this Podcast is new, I'll be initially transitioning from my YouTube channel to here - with there being some 'parallel' content for some time - depending on the situation with YouTube and Pro-2A Channels. Please be sure to leave me comments and subscribe to my Podcast. I will always answer any constructive/civilised comment and do welcome advice on anything I post! Thanks for taking an interest! Stay Safe!
