Before he is known as @TheBrokeAgent on every social media platform, he is first a licensed real estate agent. Eric Simon, being a newly licensed real estate agent in Los Angeles, had no idea what to do. He cold-called, door knocked and sat dead open houses twice a week to no success. So, he did what he always did when he fails at something: he made fun of it. Eric escaped to social media as @TheBrokeAgent where he began posting the inner monologue of an anonymous, struggling real estate agent. This inner monologue, being relatable, has since blown up and grown quickly as the voice stood out amongst an oversaturated marketplace of luxury agents, sales gurus, and assholes. After six years of memes, Gifs, skits, comics, blogs, and now a podcast, the Broke Agent brand has evolved into a media company with well over half a million followers across all major platforms. His goal is to make real estate agents laugh through the daily stress of the industry and also help improve their business through the community and content platform. Today, Eric continues to sell real estate on the Westside of Los Angeles and run the daily operations of The Broke Agent. His focus is on growing the brand and continuing to be the go-to source for real estate entertainment, podcasting, marketing, and eventually news.Listen to how Eric Simon turned his life upside down from being a clueless Real Estate agent to becoming a social media king through resilience triumph and most importantly, humor on this latest episode of the UnderDog show: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/underdog/id1534385651Connect and find out more about Eric:Website: https://thebrokeagent.com/Podcast: https://overaskpodcast.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thebrokeagent/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thebrokeagent?YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnIX8Sa_qObx2GFZhZ0maOA?Catch more of The UnderDog Show's episodes on:Apple iTunes: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/underdog/id1534385651Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/6FbSDu0aNtuxAEiderUAfBWebsite: https://theunderdogshow.com/
We continue journeying through Psalm 69 in this episode where literally the Psalmist tells us that criticism has broken his heart. How relatable of a statement is this for you? I know it certainly is and has been true at points in my life. But in that moment of pain, what does the Psalmist request. Should we also be making that request?

r/AmITheA**hole In today's episode, OP's son is a 16 year-old-boy who was in a relationship with a girl from school. He lost a family member, so he broke up with his girlfriend so he could have time to heal. The girl did NOT take it well and started harassing and stalking her ex-boyfriend. Eventually, she took it way too far when she broke into OP's house, redecorated a room, and served her ex-boyfriend a cake. OP decided to press charges for breaking and entering, but now people are calling him a butthole. Episode 44 – F-35: Getting Healthy, or Hard Broke? Part 1 Episode Summary: In episode 44 of the Aerospace Advantage podcast, F-35: Getting Healthy, or Hard Broke? Part 1 Mitchell Institute explores the status of America's newest fighter with top experts in a 2-part series. You've heard it all year—the sky is falling when it comes to the F-35. Air Force leaders, Members of Congress, and a host of commentators have signaled serious concern with the program—especially when it comes to aircraft and engine reliability, plus its operational cost. There's no shaping this one. Any reasonable person who is just reading newspaper headlines this year would wonder why we are still buying this plane. So, we figured it was time to dig into this issue and figure out what's going on from people who really understand the details of the program the best, and frankly own much of the path to improved performance—the companies building the F-35. And this is not some infomercial to spin the status of the aircraft. Our goal here today is to no kidding talk about real issues, baseline problems for what they are, explore contributing factors, and talk about how we can make things better. America and its allies need the F-35 to work. Today I'm talking about the song "Your Heart", by Joyner Lucas & J. Cole. It's such a bop and it's all about this dude facing the reality that he lost a good girl and that it's all his fault for being a f***boy. J. Cole hops on to hold his homie accountable and let him know that, yeah she's probably about to be out doing her own thing and you can't even be mad because you did this to yourself. Like he says in the song, "What goes around, comes around". I talk about whether getting dick for revenge is a good idea or not, and why we need to be smarter about the specific dick we use for revenge. Nicki Minaj says you should f*** his friend, but I think that's dumb. There were two listeners that hit me up with some relationship issues that they needed an outside perspective on so I get in depth about those. One is about whether a girl should let her dude go and work on himself so that they can get back together later, because she's scared she'll lose feelings. They've been through a lot and it's hard to just let go. The other girl shared that her boyfriend has been making her feel a way because he has this girl friend that he spends time with one on one a lot, in low key romantic settings. She doesn't wanna come off as possessive and her homegirls think it's weird but I weigh in and give my two cents. Then I talk about a Tik Tok I saw about the Gottman Method and a study about what the key to a long lasting relationship is. The Atlantic has an article that references the study, and I found a blog that broke that article down into 10 bullets as the most important takeaways of what the study found.
