In honor of recovery month (September) & #mentalhealthawarenessweek, this week's episode is about recovery. In this solo episode, we hear from Nicholas Cunningham about his brave journey to recovery from a battle with addiction. It takes courage to be in this industry on so many levels and when we were choosing themes for The BE Way, we wanted to be mindful and also very honest about what encounters one may face. Nicholas is now an advocate for educating others with his experiences around the stigma of addiction through shining a spotlight on his ever evolving challenges and successes of recovery. Nicholas was kind enough to extend an offer to reach out to him on social media @atlasalias or his blog.
