There is glory in the gospel of Christ that we can obtain which Paul talks about in this passage. What exactly is he talking about?
What are we to focus on as Christians? I believe we are to focus on the Gospel of Jesus - specifically his resurrection and what that means for us individually
Do you ever feel unfulfilled and without value and purpose? Everyone does. Did you know that God desires that you would know and be secure in His value that He has placed upon you, not because of the things you do but because of who you are in Him?
The gospel is referred to in the Bible as the gospel of grace. Many people throw stones at grace and call it hyper grace or greasy grace or other names. Perhaps you have heard the term in a negative way, but did you know that it is actually in the Bible? I am going to show you where you can find hyper grace in the Bible and what that means for us.
If we are not careful much of our gospel preaching and daily life will be filled with ways to better ourselves either to get saved or to live each day. This, however, is not the point of the Gospel of grace nor is it the point to everyday life. God removed our sins completely through Christ (as shown in the gospel) in order to walk along with us everyday in this journey, not to punish us when we sin but to teach us through his loving presence and training. The Gospel of Jesus is not a way in which we get better and improve ourselves. It is not turning over a new leaf. It is not pulling yourself up by your bootstraps. It is an exchange of things. It is and exchange of our deadness for the life of Christ and many more things. Email me at thegospelpodcast@gmail.com for questions and comments. I would love to hear from you. God bless!
Most preaching can be categorized in few ways - and two of those diametrically opposed ways are law and grace. Many people believe that preaching according to the law will get people to stop sinning - but this simply is not biblical. We are called to walk by faith which is by the grace of God. It is the grace of God which leads us and empowers us to stop sinning.
It is vital to know what God has done for you in the gospel. If you do not know all that God has done you may continue to walk in the wrong understanding or be deceived by the wrong ideas from others. When you properly understand what God has done you can live in the accomplishment of His work for you and the way He designed you to walk and live this abundant life!
The Gospel is the message and mechanism that brings us in to a new kingdom - the Kingdom of God - which is greater than any worldly kingdom of which we are citizens - and therefore should obtain our identity purpose from - not the world

It seems that politics is one of the most important aspects of life right now, and everyone believes their view is the answer for everyone. All governments have this view as they seek to govern you with their laws. However, I believe the gospel of Christ is the answer, because through the gospel God transforms us internally since Christ comes to live within us and walk with us and transform us. No government or law can govern a people who are rebellious and wicked at the core of their being. God must transform people's hearts. Then people can begin to have peace with one another, learning to love and help one another truly from a transformed heart.
Most of the time we tend to focus on the temporary things in life, for even this physical life is temporary. However, the Lord desires that we would focus on the eternal things - the hope of heaven after this life and the hope of heaven in the here and now. This is one of the major keys to the fulfillment of this life.
Do you ever wonder how you can be made right with God? Many people wonder and worry about this, and many people have given up on the task of trying to be right with God by what they do. The wonderful news of the Gospel of Jesus is that we are made right with God, not with our own behavior, but rather by the offering of the blood of Jesus. This act of God is what makes us right with God, not our own behavior. Therefore, we can rest in what God has done and receive his gift of being right with Him with joy.
