I'm kicking off a new series this week! That's right. A SERIES. Let's share opinions! Thanks for listening. ‐------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This week I'm sharing about my opinion regarding religious freedom in the schools. Both my 7 year old and 12 year recently had experiences in their schools. Let me be clear on a few things. 1.I'm not 'bashing' my kids' school. 2. Both of my kids' teachers handled the interactions professionally and I am not bashing teachers. Teachers are amazing. 3.I have had a conversation with the principal, who consulted with the superintendent. I was told there is no school policy regarding this issue, but that it essentially falls under the 'separation of church and state.' I disagree and figured I'd talk about it. It's my opinion only, and as my Uncle says, "Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has them and they all stink." Let me know what you think.
