Konversations with K: The Podcast

Well... The time has come to formally say goodbye to Konversations with K: The Podcast. This send off wouldn't be right without a (long) conversation with K. On this final episode, K discusses her current dilemma, giving grace to your strong friends, and the importance of being soft with your introverted friends. She ends this bittersweet episode with numerous thank yous and a special announcement about her upcoming project. This is episode 5 of the Young & Saved series. For the fifth episode, K discusses her own walk of faith and her relationship with God. In this long chaotic episode K discusses a lot (LOL). This is episode 4 of Young & Saved series. For the fourth guest of the series, K talks to Minister Shemar Brown. They discuss how Min. Brown tried to run from his calling and how God changed the trajectory of his life. For this episode, the Positive Moment comes from Isaiah 43:1-3. Episode 5 featuring K will be released on May 1 at Noon.

This is episode 3 of the Young & Saved series. For the third guest of the series, K talks to Phylencia, a righteous young woman who is living in her truth and walking in faith. They discuss her upbringing and why it is important to share the word of God with others. For this episode, there are two bible verses for the Positive moment: (1) Proverbs 31:30 and (2) Proverbs 31:26 Episode 4 will feature Minister Shemar Brown and will be released on April 17 at Noon.

This is episode 2 of the Young & Saved series. For the second guest, K talks to Demetrius Wirt, a young man who has recently (re)dedicated his life to Christ. He discusses his decision to outspokenly walk his faith and the importance of his faith. The Positive Moment comes from Isaiah 12:2. Episode 3 featuring Phylencia will be released on April 3 at Noon.

On this long overdue episode, K discusses her health journey from May 2019 until now. This is a long episode so settle in and enjoy this crazy journey of hospital stays, various doctor appointments with various doctors and many IV tries.

This is episode 1 of the Young & Saved series. For the first guest, K talks to Emilio, a young man who has recently been on a journey that has intensified his relationship to God. The Positive Moment comes from Hebrews 6:10. Episode 2 featuring Demetrius Wirt will be released on March 20 at Noon.

K introduces the FIRST KWKTP SERIES!!!!! She discusses her four amazing interviewees (Emilio, Demetrius, Phylencia and Minister Shemar Brown). The first series episode drops Saturday, March 6 at Noon.

Ugh... let's talk relationships. K begins this Fresh Friday with talking about the constant ridicule of Black Women's relationship standards. However, she then begins to talk about relationships (in general). She finishes the discussion with HER explanation of how love should really be. Stay tuned for part 2 of this whirlwind of a konversation.

For her senior broadcasting (college) project, K had the esteemed pleasure of talking to radio personality, Derrick "Fly Ty" Jacobs of Charlotte's V101.9. They discussed Fly Ty's long career in radio, how he got his start and how his radio career has given him opportunities that span across multiple forms of media. *This was recorded in November under a different title for her school project.*

On episode 4, part 1, K has a conversation with her longtime friend and activist Charles C. Patton. They discuss the current political climate and the candidates' agendas concerning African Americans, People of Color (POC) and the LGBTQIA+ community. Part 2 will be available on Thursday, July 30.

On this episode, K has a conversation with her father, Arron Pinkney, about the rebuilding of his life after a hard time and how others can also rebuild their lives after their hardships. Furthermore, they discuss how to end recidivism among young people and K ends the episode with a positive moment.

On part 2, K and her best friend, Eyen, continue their conversation about how they have maintained a healthy friendship over the years. They also, discuss how to deal with difficulties within friendships. Furthermore, K ends the episode with her K Moment and her Positive Moment.

On the first part of this episode, K will be sitting down at a park to discuss friendship with her best friend, Eyen. They'll talk about how they've maintained their friendship for so many years and how they handle difficult situations within their friend groups. Part 2 will be available on Thursday, July 9.

On this final part of episode 1, K closes with a K Moment and a Positive Moment. In her K Moment, K reflects about her previous attempts of recording her K Moment for episode 1. She reflects about how an emotional and temporary feeling can lead to a permanent dent in your character. Also, she announces a change to the show and ends on a positive moment.

On this continuation of episode 1, K and her mother, Tamika, end their conversation in a discussion about race in America. Also, they engage in a discussion about the abolish the police vs. defund the police debate.

On the first episode, K sits down and talks with her mother, Tamika Wilkerson. They discuss how COVID-19 has effected their lives. Also, they discuss the political climate in America, as America heads into the 2020 presidential elections. Part 2 on July 2.
