The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius offer a remarkable series of spiritual reflections and exercises developed as the emperor struggled to understand himself and make sense of the universe. While the Meditations were composed to provide personal consolation and encouragement, Marcus Aurelius also created one of the greatest of all works of philosophy: a timeless collection that has been consulted and admired by statesmen, thinkers and readers throughout the centuries.  Whilst many of his reflections and ways to live life were based on the teachings of earlier philosophers from the Socratics to the early Stoics, Marcus Aurelius strove to live his life by the principles of his philosophy and in his Meditations articulated those views in a way that remains one of the greatest books of wisdom to have graced the Earth. The final passage of book 3! I could not believe what I read when I opened the book to read this passage! If you have seen the Republic for Modern Life videos and thus know the details of events in my own life you will have a great context for the amazing ability the universe is showing myself right now to align things.  Those videos are on the same youtube channel as the link below, which is to a more recent video which I uploaded the day prior to recording this podcast, a video discussing why the Chief Crime Commissioner and Deputy Mayor of West Yorkshire, is using the Police Force as part of the agenda outlined in the Republic for Modern Life.  Of course the content of that video, if in the right hands will lead to justice for myself and many others resulting in her imprisonment.  It therefore is not a coincidence that she has used the police force once more in an attempt to stop me doing what is right. The same evening, after the video was uploaded, at 11:15pm, the police rang by buzzer and I manage to avoid letting them in as you will hear in this episode.  But it is because of this content that they will now stop at nothing to make sure I am silenced and their lies and corruption stay hidden in Yorkshire and thus attempting to save themselves and their police chief, Alison Lowe, from imprisonment.  It really is incredible for the timing to be such that this passage is read the following day at this time! Here is the referenced video which was uploaded the day prior to this episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBTs1xirZaY&t=291s The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius offer a remarkable series of spiritual reflections and exercises developed as the emperor struggled to understand himself and make sense of the universe. A passage that leads to why the thief or one who causes harm without receiving justice will suffer in the long run.  What we have always known as karma, is not just a random thing, we now have science that can explain how that lack of justice for a unjust act will manifest and harm the perpetrator who does not receive justice and Marcus knew this to be so over 1500 years ago! This one is a little off topic for regular listeners to my podcasts, but on listening it will give you an insight into objective opinion, socratic search for the truth and I can finally reveal what had consumed so much of my own life and time last year that a led to me taking the extended break from recording podcasts as well as my having to leave Leeds for two months at the end of last year. The story of the theft of the David Oluwale blue plaque in Leeds the day after its unveiling has gripped the city, it is being described as a "hate crime" and has led to national attention as a result.  This audio will explain how a hate crime or a crime that is racially motivated is, whilst indeed possible, the most unlikely of 4 possible scenarios, the last of which will highlight an agenda and discrimination of another kind, a kind that is at play right now and is the leading cause of West Yorkshire and Leeds in particular having a male suicide rate that is far higher than anywhere else in the UK, indeed it is why that rate is double that of London. I do know that in releasing this I may indeed risk my own life, but in such an event the evidence which I have ensured is multiple places will come out and if that is needed to put an end to this dark shadow that has settled over society and my life is sacrificed for the saving of many others then, well as Marcus Aurelius would think himself, if my life which is but a spec in time ends in order to serve the greater good, then that is the way it must be.

Book 3 passage 2!
