    To Avoid Feast & Famine Cycle: Always Be Marketing = Educating, providing content that solves or shows you can solve a clients issues, back pain, insomnia, pregnancy stress.... Topics:  1. Why marketing is really educating now.  2.  How much time to spend marketing? I've experienced it and I"m sure you have too- lots of new clients coming in....great your'e so happy and busy.  Tired when you get home, you've got happy clients.  And some of them even send friends! Whoa...yes!  But after a bit of time you notice a drop off.... Maybe it's over summer, everyone goes on vacation... weddings happen.   Then you realize oh 3 folks who were regulars stopped.  One moved away.... Now you're in a dip of clients and income- gotta gear up AGAIN.  My best advice.  Always be marketing. Plan that it is part of your work week... What works for you? Do leave a comment or question.

    1. Now that you've set up packages and have offerings, each client needs to know your value to them! 2. Educate them post session on what you did during the session (in layman's terms) and how it will help their healing, or back pain, or tensions, headaches, carpal tunnel or whatever they presented with. 3. This presumes that you did an intake form and worked specifically on their issues- that you didn't just do a fluff and buff!!!     Creating Massage Packages Research other therapists, check out websites especially if you are new to an area--see what the rate is. Teachers in terms of marketing talk about-- you don't want to set your price relative to other people's insecurities if that makes sense so people might be setting it low. Or sort of guessing and they're looking at other people and so if everybody's looking at everybody else's price and is a little bit insecure everybody sort of pushing rates down.....
