You got booked on the podcast. It went great. The host said it was one of her favorite conversations, and then the episode dropped, you posted the link, and your sister-in-law liked it. That is not a visibility problem. That is a continuation problem, and it takes about twenty minutes to fix. A podcast has no way to keep you. There is no follow button that means anything for a guest, no messages tab, no way for the woman who thought "oh, she's good" to ever find you again. The show hands you forty minutes and then it takes the room back. LinkedIn is where you keep the room. In this episode: Why the guest list matters more than the download number, and how to pull it The connection request to send the host on the day you record, not the day it airs What to put in your LinkedIn Featured section, and why you rewrite the title The post that is not "so honored to have joined" The one question to ask when somebody messages you about the episode Your homework: find the last podcast you were on, even if it was two years ago. Pull up the episode list. Find ten guests who came on right before or right after you. Connect with five or ten of them on LinkedIn this week, each with a note referencing their episode. Ten people. That is the whole assignment.   Resources Mentioned In The Episode: Borrow the Stage Masterclass: Free on-demand training on building your speaker kit and using LinkedIn to book stages Visibility Salon: Karen's membership community, home of the Borrow of the Stage initiative LinkedIn for Women Community: Karen's free Facebook group where listeners post their weekly 20-minute windows for accountability. Work with Karen: Book a call to talk through your own visibility strategy.   Magical Quotes From The Episode: "The stage gets you seen. LinkedIn is where you get chosen." "Exposure doesn't pay. We want the access, and access has a shelf life of about a week." "The audience was the borrowed stage. The guest is the borrowed network. These are not the same asset."   Help Us Spread The Word! What if your brain is already working hard to prove you right? In this episode, Heather explores how confirmation bias, attention, and identity influence the way photographers see their businesses. If you keep telling yourself there aren't enough clients, people won't pay, or you're bad at marketing, your brain becomes remarkably good at finding evidence to support those beliefs. Heather explains how to interrupt that cycle, choose more useful thoughts, and intentionally train your brain to notice opportunities, solutions, and possibilities you may have been overlooking. Key Takeaways: Your brain looks for evidence that supports what you already believe. Your beliefs influence what you notice, how you interpret experiences, and what opportunities you recognize. "I don't know how to get clients" is not a permanent fact. It may simply mean you don't currently know how to get your next client. One experience doesn't prove a universal truth. A ghosted inquiry or a price objection doesn't mean nobody wants your work. Your brain can build either a positive or negative case. The thoughts you repeatedly practice become the evidence your brain searches for. Identity changes behavior. When you see yourself as someone who can figure things out, your actions begin to reflect that belief. "I'm an athlete" becomes a useful identity. Heather shares how this thought changed the choices she naturally made around movement, food, and health. You don't need to lie to yourself. Choose thoughts that are believable and useful, such as "There are people who would love what I offer." Marketing opportunities may already be around you. When you believe opportunities exist, you become more likely to notice people, conversations, and connections that could lead somewhere. Don't use mindset work against yourself. Noticing an unhelpful thought isn't another reason to criticize yourself. It's simply information. Ask: "What am I training my brain to prove?" This question can help you recognize the story you're building and consciously choose a different one. What if your brain has been proving your limiting beliefs right this entire time? What if the clients, opportunities, and possibilities aren't missing—you've simply stopped noticing them? The story you repeat becomes the evidence you see, the actions you take, and the results you create. Press play and discover what you're training your brain to prove—and how to start building a completely different case. Why Specificity is a Magnet as a Coach

Legacy Lounge Podcast with Tiffany Neuman

Tiffany welcomes her client, longtime friend and master life & business coach Amanda Walker back to the show for a conversation about what today's coaching landscape really demands. Amanda shares her journey from high school science teacher and athletics coach to thriving entrepreneur, and why the "lived experience" she often dismissed: everything from parenting to 30 years of helping people get results, turned out to be her greatest asset.Together, Tiffany and Amanda unpack what's changed in coaching over the last few years, especially in the age of AI (where generic content and recycled brand names like "CreateHer" are everywhere). Amanda makes the case for ditching the outdated idea of "niching" in favor of defining the specific problem you solve, building a framework around it, and talking about your story unapologetically. She shares two powerful client case studies — a pelvic floor expert and an HR attorney — both transformed by one simple messaging shift. Packed with practical, results-driven advice, this episode is a masterclass in becoming a clear, client-magnet coach.Key TakeawaysYour lived experience is your authority. Stop discrediting everything you did "pre-coaching." Amanda calls it PC and AC — what you bring from your past (teaching, parenting, careers, hardships) combined with certifications and reps creates your unique sweet spot. Nobody else has your story, and in an AI-saturated market, that's your differentiation.Get specific about the problem you solve. Businesses exist to solve problems. Amanda considers "niching" outdated — instead, first identify the problem you solve, then who you solve it for. One can be broad if the other is hyper-specific.Meet clients where they actually are. Clients aren't Googling "nervous system regulation coach" at 3 AM — they're searching "I just yelled at my kids and I feel like a piece of crap." Translate your expertise into the language of your client's real pain.Clear over clever always wins. Clinical, legal, or "coachy" language pushes people away. When a pelvic floor PhD reframed her offer to "stop peeing your pants after having kids," she went from zero sales calls in 6 months to 4 new one-to-one clients and 2 new front-end offers within weeks.Talk about your story, especially now. Attraction is real: at Amanda's Arizona live event, 38 of 40 coaches were parents and 35 were career-transitioners — simply because she shares those facets of her own life. Similar people vibrate into your orbit when you're authentic.Beware "fauxductivity." Marketing activity that looks busy but doesn't move the needle is a trap. Build your business on two pillars: coaching mastery (the art of facilitating results) and entrepreneurship (the skill of consistently bringing in paying clients).Mentioned ResourcesAmanda's free limited series podcast: How to Get Clients: amanda-walker.com/limited-series-freebieConnect with Amanda: LinkedIn & Instagram: @AWalkMyWayRate, Review, and Follow on Your Favorite Platform! You have invested in your craft. You've done the work. Your portfolio is strong. And somehow, it still feels like you're the best-kept secret that nobody knows about. This is one of the most demoralizing places to be in business because the thing you can point to, your work, isn't actually the thing that's broken. At a certain point, the gap isn't skill. It's everything happening around the skill. Because as much as we'd all love for great work to simply speak for itself, the market doesn't automatically reward talent. It rewards the photographers who can clearly communicate their value, build trust, and make the right client think, “That's exactly what I need.”In this episode, we're looking at what actually keeps talented brand photographers stuck and the four gaps that could be standing between you and better clients, stronger inquiries, and more bookings. And yes, I'm going to tell you to put down the Lightroom catalog for a minute.

What if the reason you're not getting enough clients has nothing to do with how many people know your name? You don't necessarily need more followers. You don't need to post seven times a day. And you definitely don't need to become an internet celebrity before people will pay you. In this solo episode of Podcast Profits Unleashed, Karen Roberts challenges one of the biggest assumptions in online marketing: More visibility = more clients. Because visibility gets you seen. Authority gets you trusted. And trust is what gets people to buy. Karen shares why she stopped seeing podcasts as simply content platforms and started seeing them as relationship and authority platforms. She also reveals why getting booked on podcasts isn't enough—and how the right conversation can create opportunities worth far more than thousands of passive followers.

Send us a text if you want to be on the Podcast & explain why!Improve your soft skills as a trainer and you will get more clients. PTL1 Mike from Toronto Canada, talks about how Show Up Fitness helps trainers level up their business and technical skills. How to improve your people skills? That's what we discussed today.Your schedule isn't empty because you “need a better certification.” It's empty because you're avoiding the one skill that makes personal training a real career: connecting with members on the gym floor. Chris sits down with Mike, a Toronto-based PT leader, to get painfully practical about how great trainers get hired, get noticed, and get clients without acting like a pushy salesperson. We dig into what Mike looks for in interviews, including a hands-on practical where trainers must show progressions and regressions and prove they can coach movement patterns safely. From there, we zoom out to the business side of personal training: why floor engagement has faded over the last decade, why app-booked consults often no-show, and how a quick “wow factor” interaction can make someone 10x more likely to show up and buy. Mike shares easy, low-pressure ways to start conversations, from offering a towel to giving a simple form cue in the machine area, plus how to exit gracefully when someone isn't interested. If you're more introverted, this conversation still hits hard. Mike explains how to build confidence through reps, start with easy wins, and adopt a mindset of service: you're not “selling,” you're helping people avoid injury, train with purpose, and finally see progress. We also get into consult questions that uncover the real why behind a goal, plus how to “paint the picture” with long-term programming and realistic timelines so clients stay for months, not weeks. If you want more clients and better retention, press play, take notes, and try one floor interaction today. If you're a spiritual coach, transformational coach, intuitive healer, energy worker, or mindset coach who is struggling to get clients, this video is for you. The problem isn't your gifts and it isn't your niche. It's something more specific, and once you see it you can't unsee it.If you're new to my channel, my name is Debbie Shadid. I'm a Business Growth and Life Coach and the founder of the Business Building Boutique. For over two decades, I've helped women learn how to become coaches, get clients, grow their businesses, and create meaningful income doing work they love. Most spiritual and transformational coaches were trained in their modality but never trained on how to actually market what they do or talk to potential clients in plain language. That's the gap we're fixing today, so you can stop spinning on certifications and niche statements and start getting in front of the women who genuinely need your work.In this video, we'll walk through:Why "I help women step into their power" is keeping you invisibleHow to stop confusing your modality with your businessWhat your ideal client is actually Googling at 11pm (and what she's not saying out loud)The plain-English niche formula that gets people leaning in instead of glazing overHow to test your niche in five minutes without spending another dollarWhy your next certification will not solve this problemThe 3 practical steps to get clear on who you help and how to say itWhen you make this shift, your messaging stops sounding like everyone else in the spiritual space, your ideal client recognizes herself in your words, and your business finally starts working for you. The world needs the gifts you have. They just need to be able to find you first.Ready to get clear on a profitable niche that actually attracts clients? Send us a text if you want to be on the Podcast & explain why!Meet SAM & Paul. SUF-CPTs who are discussing ways to get clients at big box gyms. Sam already has 3 clients at Equinox and she was hired within 4-weeks with her SUF-CPT.The fastest way to get personal training clients at a big box gym is not a clever pitch. It is being the trainer people actually see, trust, and remember. We're joined by Sam, a brand-new Equinox trainer who's already built momentum in her first month, and her story turns “getting clients” from a vague hope into a repeatable plan.We talk through the real-world tactics that work at high-end gyms like Equinox and Lifetime, and also translate perfectly to Crunch, LA Fitness, and EOS. Sam explains her gym-floor outreach script, why a clipboard helps, and how she offers a complimentary assessment that feels helpful instead of pushy. We also dig into guided tours that convert by delivering an “Equinox experience” with a modified movement screen, a full-body session, and smart finishing touches that make prospects feel taken care of.Then we lay out three core strategies for personal trainer marketing inside a gym: be present when members train, run simple workshops that generate leads, and always be training someone so your coaching is visible. You'll hear practical workshop ideas like a grip strength leaderboard and a blood pressure check, plus how to follow up ethically, educate members on what their numbers mean, and build credibility by networking with medical professionals when appropriate. If you're serious about filling your schedule, growing your fitness business, and standing out in a crowded personal training industry, this is your playbook.Subscribe for more trainer tactics, share this with a coach who needs clients, and leave a review with the one strategy you'll try on your next floor shift.Want to become a SUCCESSFUL personal trainer?
