Random musings from bWb writer and twitter phenom, Tiffany Rose. Anything from old school wrestling memories to talk of the independent wrestling scene as it stands today.
I was very high when I recorded this.
I didn't expect to watch any of Wrestlemania 36 this weekend, but quarantine makes you do things outside of the ordinary. I was happily surprised with the results, though! This Sunday I'm taking a look back on the first ever 'Night 1' of Wrestlemania and looking ahead to the second night. Also reflecting on how the independent side of wrestling is using this weekend to turn a disadvantage into something fun and hopeful for us all.
This week I give a detailed breakdown of exactly what my days consist of now that we're all being told to stay put. I have a few things to say about last night's Dark Side of the Ring and a few reflections on how it was to be an ECW fan from my perspective in those days. Don't forget we've also got a big WrestleMania weekend ahead of us even though we're all going to be stuck in the house! How is 36 going to stand up to the test of time when it's all said and done and in the history books?
Have you seen Dark Side of the Ring? Everybody's talking about Chris Benoit again and I've got reasons to why that could be one of the better things needed for the wrestling business right now. I've also got a Benoit story to share. Check it out and definitely watch the DSOTR episode; it's a must see for fans.
This could have also easily been named Stir Crazy Sunday Sermon. Life has changed and it's time to support one another. Indie wrestling needs our help.
Spent the day in Nashville and by God if today's S.U.P. event is the last indie show I see for a while then I'm satisfied - find out why!
WrestleMania in Tampa to be cancelled? It's all good, there's always a backup plan. Stay positive!Song credit: Melody's Echo Chamber - "Some Time Alone, Alone"
Road trippin' this weekend to Alabama and I saw the best tournament I've seen all year! Check out the New South HOSS Tournament when it comes to IWTV!
I got a few things to say about these people who all of a sudden 'get' Freshly Squeezed now...and I promise it's not gatekeeping. Not entirely. There's a few more things I have to say about Super Showdown (Fiend v. Goldberg), this weekend's indie events, AEW Revolution, Mania weekend and the indie scene and it may explain why some fans are so miserable now. Sometimes life needs life coaching and fans need fan coaching. I'll be happy to be the latter.
GCW's Run Rickey Run was the highlight of a weekend that went by way too damn fast on this here road to Tampa. Also thoughts on Mania's match lineup so far and the Bella Twins as the next Hall of Fame inductees.
If this show isn't the best advertisement for IWTV then I sure the hell don't know what is. 5 different wrestling shows over the course of a weekend, and YES you need to check them all out.
Late night Midweek Musings in what's been a hellaciously busy week.
The Super Bowl is over and done and now we're well on the way to the Super Bowl of wrestling, but why doesn't it feel like it over in WWE land yet? Also thoughts on Pizza Party Wrestling's 'Pie Hard' (on IWTV now!), big news on Spring Break 4, and more!
A day late on this week's Midweek Musings but it was worth it just to be able to tell you about Zona 23 and what GCW has in store for this spring! Plus, thoughts on Edge, Orton, shows available on IWTV, and more!
Please bear with me, I have a head cold and it's getting late but I want to talk about wrestling tonight.
If you're getting burned out on corporate wrestling, I've got your hookup. If these independent shows don't reignite at least some spark in you as a fan, then what are you even watching wrestling for?!
Wrestling is on a huge positive move upward right now...so why can't people get on the ball and say decent things about one another? Also thoughts on independent wrestling going into Mania weekend!
My January is meant for dancin' across the USA (Nashville, Memphis, Austin, NYC) as a (mostly independent) wrestling fan and enjoying the schadenfreude that comes from watching shitty wrestlers try their best to regain favor after falling from grace on social media...even if I have to wait years for it to happen. Enjoy!
Back to podcasts for the New Year! I honestly started out positive here but it ended up as a rant on toxic wrestling fans somehow, but the result was still awesome. Have a listen!
