Noosa Church God in Us

I could sit down and listen to Ted speak about God in his life all day long and I feel like I only had the time to scratch the surface. Ted's life has not been without its challenges but to see the miracles that God has done can only cause your own faith to grow. 

I love the honestly with which John speaks about his life. There have been many challenges, some of which he is still walking through, but God has definitely been there every step of the way helping to shoulder the burden. The story isn't finished yet ....

Completely blessed by my conversation with one so young, and yes I feel so old now saying that! Jorge has a great perspective on so many areas of life that brought me to consider things in a whole new light. I love her pursuit of God, her love of the house, her heart of worship, and heart of service. She is an absolute blessing!

Jan is most definitely part of the fabric of what makes Noosa Church who we are. Her love for her brothers and sisters is so evident as she speaks. I haven't met many who have heard the audible voice of God as she has, so you can only image the impact that that has had on her life and what has transpired. Lean in for a life that has truly been a ‘long obedience in the same direction'.

Can you even imagine moving to a country where you don't speak the language? Neither can I! But that is Gus, wherever God is leading he will follow and courageously say yes!

She's a quiet one but in her silence she carries the presence of God. Hear about her love for God and heart of worship that she has given back to Him to use to bless the body.

Colin is such a picture of a life lived well in Christ. It certainly hasn't been without its ups and downs, and twists and turns for that matter, but no matter what God has remained central and he has kept such a sweet spirit towards Him and His bride! In the words of 2 Timothy “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”.

Jane is part of the furniture at Noosa Church, wearing many different hats and always behind the scenes making so much happen. Hear her story of overcoming, standing strong and the goodness of God pouring down into the generations!

Who is the man behind the smile!? Local surfer boy just trying to have some serious fun, bumps into the call of God on his life! Say's yes to God and goes on a grand adventure with an amazing wife, four girls and ‘Old MacFarlane's farm'.  Watch out Mary Valley!

There's a little punk rock, meets country, meets Christian gospel, meets worship in this diverse well lived life of Jared Porter. Saying ‘yes' to God has definitely been an adventure every step of the way and you can see how He has used everything for good and for His glory. 

Grief can certainly derail us from the path we are on, but when the roots go deep, we don't stay out there in the wilderness too long. Polly was definitely blessed to have such a God fearing mother who spent countless moments on her knees that shaped the generations to come.

Dave may have gone the long way around, and experienced more anguish than some having lived double his life go through, BUT GOD! He is right there when we are ready to cry out to Him.

I love Nikki's God story, I was thinking about why I am drawn to it so much, I think it's because I see the pursuit of God. He is always there, even when we don't know Him or see Him, inviting us to relationship with Him. God's 'drawing in' became so intense for Nikki that she couldn't ignore it any longer and so she made on of the most courageous decisions of her life and walked into Church and into the arms of a Loving Father!

When God says let go and trust Me you know you're in for the ride of your life! Catherine knew it would be a year of the 'reset', and God gifted them so much during that time, more than they dared to dream of. Come and be challenged to step into your own 'reset'!

Sara oh Sara! Not only is she hilarious but she has a huge heart and deep love of God to go with it. Her honestly on her own journey and searching for Him and insights into this generation of young people are invaluable. You'll definitely want to listen in.

Newbies to Noosa Church, Nikola and husband Jarrod and three kids have quickly become part of the family.  Hear Nikola's story, how she came to know Christ and the journey they have been on all the way to here.  She will share her heart on the next chapter and how God continually has a great plan for our lives.

Kimberly, the Canadian that we have adopted as our own! She went on an adventure, looking for something, not Someone but she found more than she was looking for. She courageously steps into whatever is before her, so her story will be sure to inspire you. 

Ben's story will definitely encourage you. As a first generation christian he meets God and completely changes the trajectory of his life! Today he can't get enough of God and is so excited to be raising his kids in a life with Him.

She's on the run living a full life that is bringing glory to God! Hear about how she came to know God, moved countries and said yes to the call for Bali. Her story will inspire you.

Meet 'fun' Jane, she brings life wherever she goes. Jane hasn't had life easy by any means but she has kept her joy and kept her faith through it all. Her story will inspire you to keep going and keep believing.

She said "I had a dream", God gave her a choice and she said yes and she's been on a crazy adventure since! Her obedience, drive, diligence and love will inspire you. 

When I think of Jane I think of that (stupid) song by Tubthumping, I get knocked down, but I get up again. You are never gonna keep me down! She's had more than her fair share of knocks but she just keeps getting back up again and coming back to the Father. She's strong and courageous, and inspiration to many.

Beau Lambshed, newly joining the Noosa Church family with his family he brings a heart ready to love a community with Gods love. Beau has found an intimacy with God through worship and wants to take people on that same journey.

Jamie Butler was our Worship Pastor for around 15 years, faithfully serving the church and leading us into the throne room of worship each week. Join us as we hear his heart, how it all started and moving on.

Erick Buma has been a huge part of Noosa Church over the years, leading worship and raising his four children who not only love God but love His house. Hear some great wisdom from someone who has walked the journey well.

Sarah McPherson is new to the Noosa Church family but has jumped in with both feet and made it home very quickly.  Having walked with God her entire life she has many incredible insights and stories.

Janelle Spies, watch out world here she comes! She wears so many hats in her daily life but what is most central to her world is her relationship with God and her love of her local Church. Hear her heart, challenges and triumphs!

Warren Evans, a pillar in the community and the church, he has lived a rich life led by the Spirit. He will have you laughing uncontrollably and grabbing for your note book to capture the wisdom.

Dominique Sheridan is an incredible woman who imparts the spirit of God wherever she is. Whether its serving the church or in her business she loves those in front of her with the love of God. Hear her journey in finding God and walking all these years with Him.

Richard is one that has beaten the odds.  Faced with so many challenges at a young age he fought to create a life for himself and found God along the way. He runs closely with God every day raising his children, loving his wife and impacting the local community.

Petrea Pradella is definitely an inspiring woman! Faced with so many challenges in life she may have gotten knocked down a few times but she got back up stronger every time. In her words she wouldn't change a thing because it has all drawn her into a closer relationship with God that she wouldn't trade for the world.

Michael Sheridan a husband, father and Elder in the house. Hear about his journey in finding God and now living his life to serve Him.

Tim Foulkes, called by God to go and he said yes! Navigating finding his relationship with God and His calling for his future, Tim is passionate about impacting the generations to come.

Anita Searle, she carries the heart of God wherever she goes in a big, loud, bold and hilarious way. Bringing life to those around her and inspiring the next generation to run with Him. 

Matthew Leeke, is wise beyond his years and there are a few of them! Since finding God he has pursued truth and has applied it to every area of his life. He lives a life that inspires others to dig deep and discover more of who our incredible God is.

Gemma, has a spiritual maturity not often seen in those not long saved. Having journey to the bottom of so many other religions and finding nothing there she finally discovered the truth and that there is no finding the bottom, just continually discovering more in Him every singe day.  Such a fresh perspective on our walk with God.

Ian Bonney, from not wanting to live to finding God and wanting to live a life fully for Him. Ian shows a strength in facing the challenges and coming out the other side and what God can do when you allow Him control of your life.

Ben Vai, he came, he saw, he deposited and then he moved on! Not many have impacted Noosa Church in a small space of time as Ben did in his year with us. He brought such life and the anointing of God through his worship. Hear the journey.
