Scott Thomas powerfully addresses the need for coaching in revitalization and church planting efforts. Scott served as the US Director for C2C Network, as President of Acts 29 Network for many years and served as pastor in the local church for 33 years. Scott is the co-author of Gospel Coach: Shepherding Leaders to Glorify God (Zondervan, 2012). He regularly trains leaders in the Gospel Coach Training and Certification system. His other publications, designed to develop Christian leaders, include the Gospel Coach Workbook (C2C Network, 2014), Redeeming Grace (2016), Twenty Great Truths (Zondervan, 2010) and Discerning God's Call (2017). Scott and Jeannie have been married for 35 years and enjoy their two married sons, two beautiful daughters-in-law and two grandchildren all happily living in Nashville.

This was a quick training and discussion we recorded. I was not running a marathon... We want to make the gospel clear and build community around mission. Cosmetic revitalization has a role (particularly for military congregations) and we talk it very very briefly.

In this episode, I seek to clarify what is truly needed in area of military congregational revitalization. We are naturally drawn to cosmetic revitalization but long term renewal will come from structural change and reform.
