Ever wondered what goes through a 9-year-old's mind (apart from can I have some sugar/crisps/iPhone etc). We discussed creativity, what makes Amelia-Belle excited, the way she sees the world, nature, her love of crystal 'healing' sessions, lots of talk about animals, confidence & emotions. Some of the answers were so surprising, just as insight into the way that kids think, but adults tend not to ask, which, it seems, we need to do more. Children are amazing absorbers of information, emotions, relationships and we often are missing out if we don't get their sweet, surprising ideas on the world they live in. Even if kids are not 'your thing', you will love this particular 9-year old!
On the show this week, Claire sits (in lotus) with Katherine Ryan, comedian, writer, presenter and actor as they discuss positive affirmations, auto-immune disease, parenting girls and our shared love of crystals. Far out.

Nitin and Claire have collaborated on many live music and yoga events, with a deep connection creatively. In this episode, they sat down in Nitin’s London recording studio to chat about life, politics, maths (Nitin, not Claire!..) and yoga. The depth of thought that goes into every action of Nitin’s is why he is such a revered musician & composer. Their conversation is ultimately down-to-earth, open and gives an insight into Nitin’s approach to life and music. “I don’t think of music as work, music is incredibly spiritually enriching, I’m very lucky in that I don’t have many things that stress me out…” Nitin Sawhney is one the most distinctive and versatile musical voices around today, achieving an international reputation across every possible creative medium. In 2017 he received the Ivor Novello Lifetime Achievement award, and is firmly established as a world-class producer, songwriter, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, orchestral composer and cultural pioneer.
In this opening episode, Claire discusses everyday wellbeing, juggling parenthood, meditation, setting intentions and a few funny situations Melanie & Claire have found themselves in over the years. Melanie talks candidly about how she overcomes depression and stays radiant and down-to-earth. Claire first met Melanie in late 1999, when she was a yoga teacher on her solo tour, where Melanie performed for 76 dates, 30 countries and 4 continents. “I’ve learnt to recognise the signs of depression creeping in, and I have a skill set that kicks in to prevent it happening, so I now know to relax, slow down and listen deeply.” As part of the 1990’s most successful band in the world, The Spice Girls, Melanie Chisholm has sold more than 105 million records, of which 20 million as a solo artist.
