the part in that one guys life where he memorizes scriptures and stuff and is accountable for it before his mission. yeah.
The last episode everybody. And subsequently the longest episode. I apologize that the audio appears to be split in two parts, but I was receiving so much inspiration that I ramble for quite a bit on the subject of the war of our time. It really is a war. Now I enter into a new level of the fight. God be with you, for the last time
Sorry I'm late, I finally figured out new technology, it just wouldn't upload for some reason. This is part one of the 2 part memorization of my 37th scripture, so hang on tight!
I am sorry about the poor quality, I did not sound check and the whole thing is clipped. I pulled it and tried some effects to try to reduce the noise, but it's just not going to be good quality. Sorry fellas
This may be the last episode of Scripture Mastery ever published. As such, I decided this required a better microphone and an updated trailer. I am hopeful that this may serve some purpose to the gathering of Israel, and I am confident that anyone who decides to listen to this has the potential to become great leaders in whatever situation they are in. Today I talk about the escalator parable, which you will find in the middle about where I review DNC 89:18-21. And the grand total is... 36 scriptures!!! Thank you to the church website, churchofjesuschrist.org, for all of its free content I put in. Just as a good measure I'll put in a special something I've been working on at the end: a demo of one of my songs, unreleased. You rock guys and gals. God be with you!
Big updates on the mission! Unfortunately, this may mark the end of my podcast. My schedule is already getting really busy, even to split this particular podcast in to two parts, and once the mission call comes all of this will be done away with as I focus on my service to the lord. So, if it so be, I bid you adu. I wish it was a bit more glamorous.
I am completely out of it, perhaps recovering from New Years. But happy New Years everybody!
Today we take a break from our 3 Nephi streak and memorize D&C 25:12, talking about Emma Smith's commandment to find hymns for the body of the church to sing. It testifies of many thing, like reaffirming the truth that the Father has a Spirit and a Body, that a song is a prayer, and most importantly that He loves music, like me, as well as many other truths. And if you stick with me to the end, I explain an essential truth given to me by the power of the Holy Ghost, and reveal some of my personal history that I have only touched on in the past. It is with great joy that I share into the world this knowledge, and I give you a link that you may learn more... http://www.lifechangingservices.org/
Sorry , I is a bit inaccurate when I say “D&C 84:10” ;). But today is a good day. Once again a lot of good feelings and spirituality captured today, you just have to wait as I warm myself up for the first couple of minutes. God be with you brethren, and once again shoutouts to the Church website which has free access to the hymns that I use for the intro and outro. Visit churchofjesuschrist.org to find more.
Yes, I had to cheat on one of the Alma scriptures. But don't let that make the whole mood of the podcast. This one is a great one, with much revelation and few spaces after the hesitation of the first ones. May God be with you my sibling.
I go into detail somewhat concerning modern day possession. And I do get possessed during the recording (I explain later, it's not what you think)
Almost without realizing it, we have reached our 30th scripture! Each episode after this will be about an hour! And of course I have to do something weird for the intro. Enjoy almost an hour of spirituality. God be With You!
UPDATES ON THE MISSION! Listen to the first part and hear where the work is progressing! And I give a pretty powerful testimony of the truth of each of these scriptures. It seems no matter how many times these same scriptures get reviewed, there is always something about them that brings a renewed power. God be with you.
Today, we discuss the importance of remembering. What happens when you forget that you are a child of God with a divine destiny? What happens when you forget why you are living the commandments? What happens when you forget that there is an enemy out there to destroy you, and to make you forget these important things? About 30 Seconds of an incredible movie is included in the intro, which alludes to these important principles. Incredibly a lot of Disney movies, like "The Lion King, 1994", holds little nuggets of truth that are taught to our children. These are victories in the great battle of our time, and I encourage you to look for these instances in the world. More on this in the episode.
I haven't quite gotten the order of all these new scriptures yet, but Im close! Just 2 Nephi 32:3 that's got me held up.
We are back with renewed energy today as we finish up Mosiah 18:8-10, which is about the blessings that come with being baptized in the name of the Lord, and the commitments we take upon ourselves. Also The Mandalorian series on Disney is amazing, as well as the sound track! It's a wonderful blend of orchestrally centered Star Wars and a new wave electronic elements, almost hip hop at places. Yes indeed, we have another two parter ladies and gentlemen. Unfortunately I do not have the resources at this time to make some fancy music to go along with it. But I have finally set the standard of the podcast, doing away with the old glass smash effect and “Yay” at the end of each episode. And next episode I wish to rehash Helaman 5:12 again, because it suffered greatly today. Still going strong!
Last Monday I had surgery, but that won't stop me from memorizing scriptures! I decided it was time to memorize Helaman 5:12 because it was a lot of my friend's go to scripture. Thank you to the church of Jesus Christ website for having a free download of the endtro used today!
The recording today will be a bit slurred and jumbled, but miraculously I get all the way through! And at the end I give some important announcements concerning the state of my mission preparedness.
I restate and refine my reason for memorizing scripture. I also refine my memory of last week's scripture, Psalms 66:18-20.
I have to admit, I botch this pretty bad. But I wish you all the best, and hope that your are inspired by conference! Honestly you should listen to conference rather than this. To respect it this shall be released after.
Today marks our twentieth scripture, so I decided it was time to pull in our good friend Mr. S. He's cool.
Ey, this is the 19th scripture of my memorization list. I'm excited for next week when I will have memorized 20 scriptures! I have a surprise for then... also the stuggle becomes real for me as I once again forget the order of the 3 most recent scriptures and I am attacked by a demon.
And here we are; the end of Much Ado About Nothing. I know I've already said this, but this proves that goodbyes can be just as sweet as hellos. And in doing so, the birth of Scripture Mastery. What a time, what an origin story. I hope you have enjoyed! Yes indeed, this looks like the last episode on this podcast, but not the last scripture mastery podcast! Look for new episodes and updates on “Scripture Mastery - The Part in that one guys life where he memorizes scripture and is accountable for it, so yeah”, which is coming out next week with a new bonus episode! I can't wait to see you guys there.
Ah the script. You can definitely tell when I'm on or off script. Cringe. We review the stuff behind equality in God's word. Also more announcements on the new name of the podcast. Contact Me at mreclsnizer@gmail.com to have your questions answered in the next bonus episode. Or send a message through Anchor.fm
I got a get a reminder every so often of who helps me remember these scriptures. I cannot remember these all on my own, it is the lord who brings these scriptures to my mind when I need them, through his Holy Spirit. You rock guys✌️, go and do good. Music brought to us by an unreleased rough draft of an anonymous contributor. 'nough said.
Moses 1:39, and dang is that some horrible quality! I switched to my Apple device for this one. I give a good solid review of all the scriptures we have memorized so far, and let slip a teaser for an approaching season 3.
Probably the first instance of me using the same free-sample music for the intro on a regular basis. Also I was soo bad at remembering what I had memorized! We review Mosiah 3:19 and one of the old ways I used to review scriptures. Jamaican accent part two.
Decide to go fancy for my not-so-great day I'm having and pull out the mic and head to the soundbooth. I go to the studio for this one. Sadly, Mr. S is not available today. Neither do I feel very good.
This proves goodbyes are just as sweet as hellos. This was the last episode I had with Mr. S, partly because he became busy with other things and mostly because neither of us talk about podcasts anymore. Tribute to Mr. S We are once again joined by Mr S (in another storm ironically) and he shares a scripture HE'S been memorizing.
Ah, Mr. S. Those were some fun time, especially when it started raining. Today I'm joined by good friend Mr. S, who shares his own testimony about this week's scripture, 2 Nephi 32:8-9. Oh, and it's raining.
Dang, this was hard for me way back when XD! I wish my past self could have seen me memorize the First Vision! I have decided to record a complete run through of my memorization technique for the longest scripture yet. Whoever can get through the whole thing gets brownie points!
The previous scriptures have become noticeably more difficult to remember. Almost skip one. Hope the Old Podcast salvaging is going well. It is a bit confusing because they are all labeled as season one, but they still show up as a new episode. Have a spectacular day, follow your values, destroy Satan and call upon God to help you. Be sure to remember someone else before yourself (unless you are in a position where you need to help yourself before you are able to help others because self-care is important too).
I think this is the first time I review all my scriptures. Kind of funny to think about, since it is essential now. Mr. E gives his memorization of Mosiah 2:17 which talks about how serving others is good in the sight of the Lord. He also reviews past memorizations such as Mosiah 20:11 and 2 Nephi 2:27, and his testimony on how they still apply to our lives.
Brought back the music and rejuvenated. I am reinforced to start memorizing scriptures again in the same way that I have been for the sake of my mission.
Tis the first time I review Mosiah 3:19, which I love. Not necessarily because of the message (which is really good, don't get me wrong), but because of the way I memorized it with a Jamaican accent.
I had more of an idea of what I wanted to do for this episode, and so I put some cheesy music to it and acted all excited. Really the first time when I really excepted this as a thing, which makes it kind of an important episode.
In this I try to do an explanation of my scripture mastery techniques with my typewriter.
This is the first official start of my scripture mastery journey. It is D&C 89:18-21
I'm finally getting the previous scripture mastery episodes on this podcast!!! Old episodes of scripture mastery that I released in my previous (and dead) podcast are now being released over the period of two and a half weeks (from August 31 to September 15 to be exact). Each one is premiering at 1:00 pm each day from Monday to Saturday, leaving Sundays to continue on my current remembering streak. Also shout out to Corporate Bystander for the music (sorry I didn't mention you before buddy) be sure to check out his music on SoundCloud. https://soundcloud.com/user-337783794 Have a spectacular day, follow your values, destroy Satan and call upon God to help you. Be sure to remember someone else before yourself (unless you are in a position where you need to help yourself before you are able to help others because self-care is important too).
Yes! We did it! We finally memorized the entire first vision... at the expense of forgetting one of my reviewed scriptures (my bad). But I added it in at the last second, so I can say I REMEMBER THEM ALL!!! WOOHOOO! Also shout-out again to Xion and Corporate Bystander (the latter of which I forgot to mention on the first part) for helping me make the intro to this two parter! Be sure to check out their channels by clicking or tapping on their name, or I have the links down here if you want to copy and paste. https://soundcloud.com/djfeno https://soundcloud.com/user-337783794 Have a spectacular day, follow your values, destroy Satan and call upon God to help you. Be sure to remember someone else before yourself (unless you are in a position where you need to help yourself before you are able to help others because self-care is important too). Maybe that will be my new tagline lol.
This will be a two parter because I am stumped by the length of these two verses. I will try again next week and be working on it throughout the week. Also shout-out to Xion for helping me create the intro! Check out his SoundCloud profile below to hear more of his epic beats and soothing chill. https://soundcloud.com/djfeno
Tired day, more teasers, and other stuff unrelated. I'll be working on getting those Previous Episodes from "Much Ado About Nothing" onto this podcast so that I can enjoy being more organized. I don't know about you guys, I honestly forgot you were there lol. forMattingorMMatTINg
Hey sorry it's really rushed, maybe not quite as spiritual , but as I say in the pod itself, I'm more making this for me than for the masses. But you can listen if you want, and if you're offended, leave a comment and I'll be more careful.
Today is a tired day. It's been a long day yesterday and we are just going purely off of inspiration this time.
Hey guys, welcome back! I'm glad you got to this new podcast where I will be posting all my new scripture mastery accountability. This is the start, and I hope to have some great new content for you as I struggle with the challenge of fitting memorization into my day without bumping into normal life.
This is the final relevant thing you will hear. I'm Moving this podcast to "Scripture Mastery" which you can find on any listening platform available. Other than that there is not much more to say.
