Todd Moore (@coachtmoore) is started as a teacher/coach in the Amarillo, Tx area. He moved to become a coach at Highland Park, and now is VicePrincipal at Horace Mann Middle School. Coach's priority as an educator is to make relationships with students that will last beyond the classroom. I'm lucky enough to be one of those relationships. From looking out after me when I first moved to the United States to still having a relationship 10 years later. I can say first hand, he has made an impact in my life. Kim Moorman is a teacher that is changing the lives of students by making connections with them. She could be gaming against her students but they will never know. Kim is connecting with her students and motivating them all through connections. Her dream is to open up a school for at-risk students. Kyle Morrow (@not_really_fit_but_i_try_hard) is a math teacher, a friend, a CrossFit coach, and all around great guy. Kyle is changing an entire community by being the motivation and the change he wants to see in people. He went from wanting to be a football coach to now coaching CrossFit and making an impact in multiple sports all at once. Anywhere you go around Hereford you will see Kyle volunteering to help. He is a walking inspiration and is a teacher that personally motivates me to become a better person. Kyle will motivate you to get out and change your life for the better. Even if it means doing small workouts in the classroom as he does with other teachers.
On this episode, we talk to Erin Kinucan. A teacher of young minds that have created new programs to help each student take a book home. She has coached Special Olympics Athletes that qualified to the world championships in weightlifting. Erin talks about how she went from attending a cycling class once a week to become the instructor. Erin reminds us that teachers should take care of themselves. ENJOY!
