Everybody goes through seasons of great times and challenging times. In these seasons we have a choice to turn towards God or turn to other things. When we turn to God we find eternal hope.
Everyone today has a different standard for everything we do. We look to the media and the world for standards but we never look to God. My life was all about the world's standards last summer and looking back at it now I see that the worlds standards are not the same as Gods. God expects more from us as believers and has high standards for our everyday life.

There is no person incapable of being used by Christ. No one is too boring, too broken, or too burdened to further His kingdom and influence others. We all have a significant story to tell and no matter what it is, it is important and unique to the Lord's plan for you. We don't have to see the overall picture; all we are required to do is use the gifts and testimony he's given us to love and serve others. We must listen and go where He sends us. He will use our story for his glory.
Authenticity is about not conforming to others. Authenticity is about finding your identity in Christ, and knowing that who you are is because of what Jesus did for us. It's also about living with an open mind so you don't cut o what everyone is saying to you. It's also about converging with a good community that can build you up as a person and can influence you in a good way.

Everyone experiences struggles in life in some form or another. Our immediate instinct is to be angry, confused, afraid, annoyed, etc. We try to x it and, when we can't, we see how broken we truly are. What would life look like if we trusted God in the things that we don't understand?
It can be a struggle to love people who are vastly different than us or hard to love, but we as Christians are called to love them. Our society claims to “love, love, love” but how is that different from Christ's love and how do we live it out?
