Orwell's 1984 has never been more relevant - from the way speech is controlled, to the sudden shift towards corporate authoritarianism, fear driven oppression - it seems to be everywhere with no end in sight. Or is that just how the media is making us feel? How social media is manipulating us? Who knows. Here are some thoughts.

Throughout history there have been eras like the one we're living through now. Eventually people will look back on this era and they will ask who stood up to cancel culture, who went along with it and who remained silent. Standing up to it isn't as hard as it seems. I'm also talking about the book Pendulum and whether or not we're living through another 1943. And Happy Thanksgiving!
