Sometimes the reason we struggle with living Happy is as simple as who or what we put on our dance cards. If what we "dance" with causes despair, anger, anxiety etc., we should dance with something else. The good news is, no matter who or what we've danced with, or are currently dancing with, we can always save the last dance for that Happy and positive choice. In fact, why wait for the last dance? Maybe it's time to switch dance partners now. Remember what brought you joy in the first place, and put THAT on your dance card. The songs we used in this episode are "Shut Up And Dance" by Walk The Moon, "Dance" by Petra, "Save The Last Dance For Me" by Michael Bublé, "Circle Of Life" by Elton John, "Rio Samba" by Liborio Conti, "Electric Boogie" by Marcia Griffiths, "Waves" by AVAWAVES and "Footloose" by Kenny Loggins. We don't own any rights. In the Black Mirror episode 'Shut Up And Dance', the anti-malware software Kenny downloads was called 'Shrive'. 'Shrive' is actually the an archaic term meaning to either confess your sins to a priest or to be absolved by them. The trollfaces, the people behind Shrive, might be fishing the internet for troublemakers, finding Kenny doing something he shouldn't have. This can be seen as many different things: that the trollfaces were essentially trying to weed out the wicked from the flock, or they were wanting people, anyone really, to do their bidding. Deman Rocker, the other half of the duo couldn't be in on the interview but I am hoping to speak to him soon. Until then, enjoy!

A Black mirror brit antológia-sorozat. Shut Up And Dance, magyar címe az epizódnak Pofa be és táncolj. A csatornán sokat foglalkozok társadalmi kérdésekkel. „Oh don‘t you dare look back!“ singen Walk the moon.

Matt talks about his favorite party songs to get the party started and includes the last song to end the event. Important Links View the complete list of best party songs. See all Wedding Songs Podcast episodes Podcast Transcript Welcome to the 84th episode of the Wedding Songs Podcast. I am Matt Campbell and today I am going to have one of my favorite, and I know everyone else's favorite, topics. Best party songs. These may not be the best songs to get everyone out on the dance floor (although I am going to include those also), but these could also be background songs as well. And, also songs that are trending right now. If you prefer to read the list or listen to the list, you can do so on our website MyWeddingSongs.com. While you are there make sure to sign up for our monthly newsletter. In it, we tell you about all the new songs released in the prior month and also great trending songs and forgotten hits you can play on your wedding day. This episode is going to be a little bit different, I am not going to include song lyrics because I am just going to go thru the 200 songs just to categorize those by genre and a couple of events as well (I will get to that in just a second). So, speaking of starting off, I am going to start off with 37 songs I think could really get everyone out on the dance floor. They are party songs and ones that you want to make sure you at least have in your music library. The first one is “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)” by Whitney Houston, “Yeah” by Usher, “Dancing Queen” by ABBA, the great Disco song. “Fergalicious” by Fergie, “Get Low” by Lil Jon, and the East Side Boyz featuring Ying Yang Twins, and “This Is How We Do It” by Montell Jordan. This one is exploding recently because it is in a car commercial. “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars, “We Found Love” by Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris. This is a great song to really get the party started and get everybody excited. Next is “I Gotta Feeling” by Black Eyed Peas and “September” by Earth Wind and Fire. One of the great dance songs of all time. “Dynamite” by Taio Cruz and the newer song, “About Damn Time” by Lizzo. “Shut Up And Dance” by WALK THE MOON. There are a few Michael Jackson songs we can have on the list, but it seems like “Billie Jean” is on everybody's playlist. “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins with the right crowd, and “C'Mon ‘N Ride It (The Train)” by Quad City DJ's, which came out in the '90s and will get everybody doing the train around the dance floor. Next is “The Humpty Dance” by Digital Underground who recently lost their lead singer. “Get Down On It” by Kool and The Gang and “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-A-Lot. “Hey Ya!” by Outkast, and “Friends In Low Places” by Garth Brooks is the first Country song on the list, which is a sing-along song you can have on your list. “Timber” by Pitbull featuring Kesha, “No Hands” by Waka Flocka Flame and Roscoe Dash featuring Wale, “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars, and of course the “Cha-Cha Slide” by Mr. C if you want to have a group dance song, along with the next son “Cupid Shuffle” by Cupid. “Cotton Eye Joe” by Rednex and “Hot In Herre” by Nelly. One of the great party songs, “Shots” by LMFAO, and the second Country song, “Fishin' In The Dark” by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Listen to the lyrics to make sure they are Wedding appropriate if you are going to play it at a wedding and your Wedding couple is OK with it. “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers, “Time Of Our Lives” by Pitbull featuring Ne-Yo. Another group dance song , “Wobble” by V.I.C., “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper, and “Shout” by The Isley Brothers or by Otis Day. It is up to you which version you prefer. It is just a great group dance song you can have. “All The Small Things” by Blink-182. And finally, “Boogie Shoes” by KC And The Sunshine Band. So that is just to get things started off. Next up let us talk about 10 songs for slow dance songs starting off with “Tennessee Whiskey” ...

In this newsletter, you will find all the new songs released from the prior month and also some great song ideas. Let's go ahead and get started with the popular songs of the 2010s. I have these grouped by genre starting off with Rock Songs. The first one is “Feel It Still” by Portugal The Man released in 2017, and “Handclap” by Fitz & The Tantrums in 2016. We all know the famous lyrics that get everybody to clap…”Cause you don't even know, I can make your hands clap. “Best Day Of My Life by American Authors, released in 2014. This is a great song that you could play as a recessional song, that is after the “I Do's”. Lyrics include…No, just don't wake me now. This is gonna be the best day of my life. Popular dance song, “Shut Up And Dance” by Walk The Moon in 2014. With the lyrics…Just keep your eyes on me. I said you're holding back, She said shut up and dance with me. Next up are R&B wedding songs from the 2010s with “Finesse” by Bruno Mars featuring Cardi B. “Can't Feel My Face” by The Weeknd, in 2015 with the lyrics…I can't feel my face when I'm with you. But I love it, but I love it. “Love On Top” by Beyonce in 2013 with the lyrics…You're the one I can always call. When I need to make everything stop. Finally, you put my love on top. This can be played throughout your wedding day, it is very popular. So is her other song “Drunk In Love” with her husband Jay Z, also released in 2013. Make sure you play those two songs if you are a big Beyonce fan. Her recently released Renaissance album also has some great dance tunes on it as well. “Suit And Tie” by Justin Timberlake featuring Jay Z, in 2013, is a great song for the garter toss if you want to have it, or just a tribute to all the men that are in the wedding or reception. Lyrics include…And as long as I've got my suit and tie, I'ma leave it all on the floor tonight. The controversial song, “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke featuring Pharrell and T.I. was released in 2013. If this is still really popular in your area it is a great dance tune. “All Of Me” by John Legend in 2013 is one of the greatest R&B love songs of all time. With the lyrics…You're my end and my beginnin'. Even when I lose, I'm winnin'. Another great love song, by Miguel, called “Adorn” in 2012, with the lyrics…Let my love adorn you, baby. Don't you ever Don't you let nobody tell you different. A great dance tune by Usher, featuring Pitbull, is “DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love”. It was released in 2010 with the lyrics…Gon' get you right, ‘Cause baby tonight, DJ got us fallin' in love again. Another one of his famous dance tunes is “OMG” featuring Will.I.Am in 2010. This closes out the R&B. Next up are the Dance tunes. Starting off with “Something Just Like This” by the Chainsmokers and Coldplay released in 2017. I really love this as a cocktail hour or dinner background song. One of the greatest entrance songs, into the reception, is “This Is What I Came For” by Calvin Harris featuring Rhianna released in 2016. Lyrics include…Baby,

A few months ago Rick mixed up " Shut up and Dance" which had no vocals to sing to. This is that same mix, but now with samples and extras.
In this house, we love love. The all-important meet cute, true love's kiss, happily ever after. And there's nothing better than watching the same two people fall in love over and over and over again. That's the beauty of fanfiction, isn't it? This week, Sydney is bringing you into her world of beauty and grace and most importantly, love. Shut Up and Dance With Me is a heartwreckingly glorious fanfiction featuring Voltron's favorite boys, Keith Kogane and Lance McClain as they dance through the competition, into their future and into each other's hearts. And this is why this fic has found a spot as one of Sydney's favorite fics of all time. Join us as she tells you the story of rivals to friends, friends to lovers, found family, and how far two boys will go before they just admit how much they love each other. As always, send us your fic recommendations, or reach out if you are a fic author who would like to be interviewed in the future, at canonicallyincorrectpod@gmail.com Read, comment, bookmark and kudos Shut Up and Dance With Me by wittyy_name (also visit her on Twitter, Tumblr, Patreon, as well as the fic's Tumblr page!)

Today I'm chatting with the ladies from Shut Up and Dance. Abby, Lesa and Clair kicked off Shut up and Dance in Wellington back last year and since then it's gone from strength to strength. They teach dance routines inspired by music videos and films. Abby and Lesa roped Clair into teaching them Beyoncé's single ladies dance than things have exploded from there. These ladies consistently get uncomfortable through growing a business, dancing up a storm and the amount of support and the way they interplay with each other is amazing to behold. If you've ever wanted to be a ballerina but couldn't master the perfection then this is the episode for you. Remember that Britney Spears is a state of mind. Today we chat + Dance + Not being punished for being crap at dance + Not being perfect + Building trust in yourself + Writing a 5 year business plan after the first dance class + Keeping it real + Everyone being uncomfortable and no one else knowing what they are doing either + Feeling the fear and saying hi to it + Not being the best at something but still being able to enjoy it + Saying out loud what what you you want to do Show support: Learn how to make simple yet professional videos with the lads from howtomakesimplevideos.com. Josh Forbes is a funny commercial director, whimsical music video director and helmer of the horror hit "Contracted: Phase II". We chat about the differences among his many disciplines of filmmaking. He also tells the tale of being nominated for Best Rock Video Of The Year for "Shut Up And Dance" by Walk The Moon at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. Yet oddly, the filmmaker was not invited to the VMA's, and was forced to buy a ticket. Apparently, Viacom is strapped for cash. I've posted my favorite Josh Forbes music video, chalk full of comedians we love like Judah Friedlander, Fred Willard, Josh Fadem, John Ennis at jordanbrady.com. I'll be in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, December 19th, 2015 conducting my popular Commercial Directing Bootcamp so sign up today! This episode is 90 fun-filled minutes, give or take. Please like the show on iTunes. thanks, Jordan
