Surely competing isn't healthy? ... all these questions AND MORE are ones that are often voiced by a competitor's parents or loved ones. Especially for mothers who naturally worry about their son or daughter partaking in an extreme sport like bodybuilding. Here in the peachy pod we like to get uncomfortable, so listen in on this interview that Nat did with her mum who doesn't hold back on the truth! Prep can make parents and loved ones feel as if you are 'eating against' them and not 'with' them, they can become worried for your welfare and, for women, may even see the sport as sexist and degrading! This is the first of many relative and loved ones interviews where we get up close and personal with the TRUE perception of the sport. The idea of this series is that you will be able to share this episode and upcoming ones with your friends and families so they too do not feel alone with their feelings. The responsibilities is on US as competitors to make the effort to explain the sport to others and to not presume that they will disregard what we have to say from the onset.
