After almost two years, we are finally back to a full length baseball season! Opening Day 2021 is a breath of fresh air for baseball fans everywhere. Listen in to hear our season predictions and to learn why this season could change the future of baseball.

Sports betting/gambling is one of the fastest growing industries in both professional and collegiate athletics. Since being nationally legalized in 2018, the sports gambling industry has already generated billions in annual revenue. Around 30% of states have some form of legal sports gambling, and several other states will be introducing legislation soon to add to these numbers. Listen in as we briefly explain how sports betting works, discuss the pros and cons of sports betting, and take a look at where the industry is headed.

In recent years, both collegiate and olympic athletes have been advocating for compensation through a Name, Image, Likeness law. Recent legislation has made this potential law a reality. Listen in to hear a breakdown of what NIL means, the argument against a NIL law, and how passing a NIL law can benefit ametuer athletes.

The University of Alabama's Athletic Department has a longstanding history of success. In the past few years, UA has been quietly building powerhouses in less recognized sports. We all know the recent success of the 2020 College Football National Champions - but that isn't the only program at UA that is excelling.
