A Feel Bad Christmas Podcast Shane Black has had two near misses of being featured on this year's season of episodes of TiT... and his silly KISS KISS BANG BANG was replaced with The Feel Bad Christmas movie from David Fincher. I don't know if that says more about Mr. Black or us but for Christmas in 2025 it's THE GIRL WITH DRAGON TATTOO and we couldn't be happier! Well... we could. And we do air our grievances for Festivus for the rest of us but we have absolutely none with this modern Christmas classic! Bold Moves: Purple Hair, a Tattoo, and No Take-Backs Patricia (she/her) reflects on what it really means to make bold moves—and how we talk to ourselves when those decisions don't land the way we hoped. Through the very real experiences of dyeing her hair purple for the first time and getting a tattoo she isn't sure she likes, she explores autistic decision-making, sensory overwhelm, masking, regret, and self-compassion. This episode is about reframing regret as information, honoring neurodivergent needs in the moment, and learning how to be kinder to ourselves when we take risks and feel unsure afterward. WHAT YOU'LL HEAR IN THIS EPISODE · End-of-year reflection: How has this year been, and what are we carrying into the next one? · The desire to make bold moves—and the fear that often comes with them · Deciding to dye hair purple for the first time · Letting excitement, doubt, and second-guessing coexist · Experiencing a deeply neurodivergent-affirming salon appointment · The importance of predictability, process explanations, and bodily autonomy · Getting over-hungry, tech issues, and how small barriers can cascade into overwhelm · Allowing a meltdown in a safe space instead of masking through it · Not knowing immediately whether you like something—and the pressure to perform enthusiasm · Scheduling a tattoo the very next day as another bold move · Sensory overload, unexpected pain, and difficulty advocating in the moment · Masking through physical pain and being praised for "doing great" · Immediate tattoo regret and the awareness of permanence · Naming regret without spiraling into shame or self-blame · Reframing regret as data, not a moral failure · Disconnecting from the body temporarily as a coping strategy · How rigid rules around food, ownership, and permission show up in autistic lives · The power of communicating needs instead of carrying silent embarrassment · Challenging the belief that we must always make the "right" decision · Ending with reminders about gentleness, lowered expectations, and honoring sensitivity SOUND BITES · "The goal was to make bold moves—and I did." · "It's okay to have regrets. That doesn't mean I did something wrong." · "I allowed myself to feel what I was feeling instead of masking and falling apart later." · "What we tell ourselves about our experiences matters more than the experience itself." · "Sensitivity is nothing to apologize for. It's how your brain is wired." SENSITIVITY IS NOTHING TO APOLOGIZE FOR; IT'S HOW YOUR BRAIN IS WIRED You are not broken. You were shaped by systems that weren't built for you. You deserve rest, joy, and support exactly as you are. PODCAST HOST Patricia Young (she/her) was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 17 years, but she is now exclusively providing coaching. She knows what it's like to feel like an outcast, misfit, and truthteller. Learning about the trait of being a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), then learning she is AuDHD with a PDA profile, OCD and RSD, helped Patricia rewrite her history with a deeper understanding, appreciation, and a sense of self-compassion. She created the podcasts Unapologetically Sensitive and Unapologetically AuDHD to help other neurodivergent folks know that they aren't alone, and that having a brain that is wired differently comes with amazing gifts, and some challenges. Patricia works online globally working individually with people, and she teaches Online Courses for neurodivergent folks that focus on understanding what it means to be a sensitive neurodivergent. Popular media leverage weak study to criticize RFK Jr.'s rethink of standard recommendations for saturated fat avoidance; Poor quality plant-based diets hike cardio risk; A listener complains his lp(a) is going up with age despite his healthy diet, lifestyle; Scientists pinpoint cocoa ingredient that slows aging; Berry proanthocyanidins preserve brain power; Tattooing may promote inflammation, undermine immunity.
Send us a textA birthday hangout turns into a full-on variety show: we kick off with shots and shout-outs, then sprint straight into the Labubu craze and the wild trend of tattooing the toy itself. The hype machine gets a reality check as we break down why collectibles blow up—celebrity co-signs, K-pop adjacency, mystery variants, and the thrill of not knowing what you'll get. From there, we tumble into pop-chart surprises (Baby Shark supremacy, Despacito endurance) and ask why certain songs conquer the world with choreography, repetition, and rhythm that cut across languages.Food heads get fed with hibachi talk, Kiran light, and an unexpected case for Crown Royal chocolate—plus the difference between a “vibe” dinner and a clutch takeout. Then comes a fiery Southern culture segment: Alabama and Mississippi pride meets Texas side-eye, MLK Day politics in Arizona's past, and the way stereotypes stick until someone tells the fuller story. Sports heads get their fix too, with NFL loyalties tested, fantasy heartbreak relived, and the kind of friendly slander that keeps group chats alive.Midway, we open the door on something more intimate: the difference between love and lust, how confidence changes chemistry, and the petty things people do post-breakup (or refuse to). It's raw, funny, and more honest than anyone planned. We pivot to strength and training with BYL shoutouts, celebrating women who lift heavy and giving beginners a nudge to start where they are. And because it's that season, the table explodes over holiday movies: Elf vs Die Hard, Home Alone nostalgia, Friday After Next as an all-timer, and the perennial “does it count as Christmas if it only happens at Christmas?” loophole.Pull up a chair, pour something good, and argue with us in your head. If you laughed, learned, or yelled “that's cap,” hit follow, rate the show, and share this episode with a friend who loves a good debate. Today, on Karl and Crew, we continued our “All-Star Week”. We're inviting some of your favorite guests back to discuss key updates in their ministries and work. Plus, we are asking them, and you, an important question this season: "If the birth of Christ never happened, what part of your life would be most different? We had Arlene Pellicane join us to discuss the importance of parents engaging with their children rather than relying on phones to do it this Christmas. Arlene is a speaker, author, and host of the Happy Home podcast. She is also a marriage and parenting expert. Arlene has written several books, including “Screen Kids.” We then had Dr. Winfred Neely join us to discuss the beauty of allowing your mind to be enthralled by the gospel. Dr. Neely is the newly retired Vice President and Academic Dean of Moody Theological Seminary. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Biblical Interpretation, Old Testament, and Biblical Preaching at Moody Bible Institute. Then Chris Baker joined us to share his testimony and how God led him to start a tattoo ministry, INK 180, that serves those who have been branded through sex trafficking and gang life. Chris is the founder of INK180. Through his work at the ministry, he won the 2022 FBI Director's Award for Community Service and has an award-winning documentary featured on TLN.
It starts with a brutal roast and quickly turns into a no-holds-barred round of You vs. Victoria, the trivia game where confidence can be just as dangerous as being wrong.

Step into Episode 190 of On the Delo as David DeLorenzo sits down with longtime friend and Arizona hospitality pro Tiffany for a candid conversation about life behind the bar, responsible service, mental health, and launching a new industry-driven concept in downtown Mesa. From nearly two decades in restaurants and bars to opening “The Walk In” while navigating new motherhood, Tiffany pulls back the curtain on what it really takes to care for guests, protect your team, and still protect your own energy. If you're in hospitality, own a bar or restaurant, or just love the Arizona beer community, this one gives you real-world perspective and practical takeaways you can use right now.Hear how Tiffany went from a 19-year-old hostess at Native New Yorker in Tempe to a respected leader in Arizona's craft beer scene, shaping programs at spots like Cornish Pasty, Postino Gilbert, and The Sleepy Whale. She breaks down the psychology of reading guests, the art and “mama bear” finesse of cutting someone off, and why hospitality that feels like family is the only way to stand out when people are more selective than ever about where they spend their money. The conversation also dives into how therapy, boundaries, lifting, early mornings, and porch coffee help her manage burnout and stay grounded in an industry that often expects you to be “on” no matter what's happening in your own life. You'll also get an inside look at The Walk In, the new “grandma's basement” bar Tiffany is opening in a historic basement space in downtown Mesa with partners Chris Rogers and Thad Krosky. Think cozy couches, wood paneling, beer neons, beer, natural wine, vinyl nights, and a serious non-alcoholic program designed for people who want the full experience without the booze. Tiffany shares the real startup journey: losing their first dream Tempe location, regrouping with help from community and a strong broker, finding the former Sun Devil Liquor basement and its old cellar “relics,” and deciding they don't have to settle for anything less than the right space.Chapter Guide (Timestamps):(0:00 - 2:40) Saturday Morning Vibes and Episode 190 Intro(2:41 - 5:56) Tiffany's Start in Hospitality: Native New Yorker, ASU, and Falling in Love with the Industry(5:57 - 12:40) Psychology Behind the Bar: Reading Guests, Responsible Service, and Care Over Transactions(12:41 - 18:21) Arizona Beer Community: Hospitality, Storytelling, and Surviving a Changing Market(18:22 - 23:58) Building The Walk In: Concept, Partners, Mental Health Focus, and Learning the Business Side(23:59 - 30:38) Losing a Location, Finding a Basement: Tempe Setbacks, Downtown Mesa, and Not Settling(30:39 - 37:56) Non-Alcoholic Programs, Mental Wellness, Therapy, and Coping Without the Crutch of Alcohol(37:57 - 43:21) Motherhood, Support Systems, Arizona Roots, and Raising Riley in Hospitality(43:22 - 47:24) Rapid Fire: Music, Tattoos, Aliens, Gold Shows, and Strength Inside and Outside the Bar(47:25 - 48:39) What's Next: Copper State Beer Festival and Built Different Community Invite
2150 Proven You CAN Change I talk about a study with Psilocybin on mice brains proving that the brain can be rewired. I have long believed and in fact proven to myself that the human brain can be rewired without drugs if one has enough sincere motivation towards wanting to change as opposed to simply paying it lip service or wanting to take some sort of convenient effort-free shortcut.

It is difficult to believe in an often normal appearing world that there are actually people who believe in and even deify Lucifer, know for generations as the “Prince of Darkness”. Dr. Stanley Monteith makes a compelling case that there is a large, sophisticated network of people not necessarily with Tattoo's and body piercings but rather prosperous, erudite, and well-dressed who devoutly believe that Lucifer has gotten a “bum rap” over the years and deserves true devotion from the rest of us.What convicted them, what motivates them – the historical fallout and what it means to us today in terms of the cosmic struggle for who shall ultimately control our souls and destiny is what Brotherhood of Darkness is all about.

Angela Nicolazzi grew up in Brooklyn before moving to Florida, where her life took a dramatic turn. She became a mother at just 14 years old, struggled to stay on a stable path, and by 19 found herself involved in an armed robbery with her brother and her child's father. That moment changed everything—Angela was charged with attempted murder and sentenced to 15 years in the Florida state prison system. In this episode of Locked In with Ian Bick, Angela shares her full story: her childhood, early motherhood, the events that led to her arrest, what life inside a Florida prison was really like, and how she rebuilt her identity after serving more than a decade behind bars. #FloridaStatePrison #PrisonSurvival #PrisonStory #LockedInWithIanBick #InmateStories #PrisonLife #TrueCrimePodcast #redemptionstory Thank you to AURA FRAMES & k9S.ORG for sponsoring this episode: Aura Frames: Exclusive $35 off Carver Mat at https://on.auraframes.com/LOCKEDIN. On this, our 303rd Evolutionary Lens livestream, we discuss the recommendation to stop vaccinating newborns against Hepatitis B, as just handed down by ACIP (Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices) for the CDC. Why were newborns whose mothers do not have Hep B, being vaccinated against a disease that is contracted through sexual activity and dirty needles? We discuss claims of “safe and effective,” risk stratification, the childhood vaccine schedule, and what “individual-based decision-making” will mean for parents and doctors. Then, new research: tattoo ink induces inflammation in lymph nodes, and changes the immune response to vaccination. Finally: an homage to Tom Stoppard, playwright extraordinaire, author of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Arcadia, and so much more.
