We talk about the true meaning of “an eye for an eye” and why we should turn the other cheek, the kind of love we should have for our enemies, and the importance of giving, praying, and fasting in the life of the believer.
Do we ever connect the truth that honoring our word honors God? To live under the umbrella of love is to keep our promises. We will recognize that lust is counterfeit love, a knock-off of something much better and truly fulfilling.
Once we see the purpose of the Law we can begin to understand the application of the principles of the Kingdom through Christ. We will seek to understand that the law of the kingdom is a direction not a line covering anger, lust, and divorce.
We want to be interested in the same things that interest God- our hearts in step with His. Do we leverage our lives for impact?
