Send us a textFor our devotional today, we will be talking about "The Imperishable Crown" which is part of our "5 Heavenly Crown of Life Series". The verse that the Holy Spirit wants us to read and talk about can be found in 1 Corinthians 9:24-25.This year, let us race with endurance and race with one goal in mind not just for this year but our main goal in life is to finish the race with Jesus and to know that at the end of the race which is our life that God has a reward waiting for us and that is eternal life which can only be won by His children. As a child of God, not only one winner wins but we all win because we are His children. To be a child of God, you have to run the race of life, and my prayer is that if you haven't accepted Him yet that you won't wait but do it now. God loves you and He wants you to Come to Him or Come back to Him.We would love to hear your thoughts on this topic and the question that we want to leave you is this: Why do you think the Imperishable Crown is important and what does this crown mean to you or your life?We would love to hear your thoughts and your answer to this question by going to any of our media links from below.Connect with us through our Social Media Links:Email us at cometojesuswithannette.mahal@gmail.com Twitter and Instagram: @AnnetteMahal FB: Come to Jesus You can also send us a voice message if you are listening in Spotify or by sending your questions or comments to (571)601-0067. Are you trying to hold onto control too tightly? Just like trying to grip a bike harder actually makes it more difficult to ride, the harder we try to control life, the harder it gets. Preaching Minister Kale Courtright wraps up "The Jesus Way" series by exploring why true Christian life begins with learning how to surrender and give up some control. We dive into Mark 8 as Jesus issues the challenging invitation to become his disciple, calling us to deny ourselves and take up our cross. Discover why pursuing individual happiness through self-interest is a "treadmill of self" that never stops, and how following Jesus's counterintuitive call to lose your life is the only way to save it and find peace.

Are you stuck trying to grow your faith? It's easy to be a spiritual philosopher, but much harder to become an apprentice of Jesus. In this message on The Jesus Way, we explore why you need more than motivation—you must intentionally "arrange your days" to find deep contentment, joy, and confidence in your everyday life with God. Learn how ancient Christians used a Rule of Life (a structure, like a trellis) to put a plan in place for following Christ, ensuring you stop being passively formed by the world and start maximizing your spiritual growth. Discover the core daily habits needed for transformation and making Jesus the main focus of your life.

What does quiet confidence really look like? In this episode, we're continuing our Confidence in Life series by unpacking the kind of confidence that doesn't need to shout—or even speak—to be felt. We talk about why real confidence isn't about being the loudest in the room, but about being deeply at peace with who you are and where you're going. From learning to trust your own inner voice to letting go of external validation, we'll explore the tools and mindset shifts that create lasting, grounded confidence. Plus, we share practical ways to tune in to yourself, set boundaries without guilt, and embrace the freedom that comes with caring less about what others think. Today we cover:What quiet confidence really means—and how it shows up in everyday lifeHow peace and confidence are more connected than you thinkThe role of meditation in helping you trust your own voiceWhy getting older makes confidence easier (and more fun!)Practical tips for shifting from external validation to inner trust Connect with Whitney & Stephanie: captureyourconfidencepodcast@gmail.comStephanie IG: @_stephanie_hanna_The Other 85: https://theother85.net/Whitney IG: @whitneyabrahamJoin the State of Women Conference on October 9, 2025: https://whitneyabraham.kartra.com/page/stateofwomenconference

Ever feel guilty about doing something just for yourself? We are continuing our Confidence in Life series with an honest conversation about pursuing joy for its own sake—without needing it to benefit anyone else. We explore why women often struggle to prioritize activities that are purely for their own fulfillment, and how shifting that mindset can change everything. From hobbies to quiet rituals, we're giving you permission to make space for the things that light you up—no justification required. Today we cover:Why it's so hard to prioritize joy without attaching productivity or purpose to itThe difference between resenting others' boundaries and feeling inspired by themHow modeling self-prioritization can positively impact your kidsExamples of hobbies and rituals that are “just for you”Permission to embrace evolving interests without guilt or pressure Connect with Whitney & Stephanie: captureyourconfidencepodcast@gmail.comStephanie IG: @_stephanie_hanna_The Other 85: https://theother85.net/Whitney IG: @whitneyabrahamJoin the State of Women Conference on October 9, 2025: https://whitneyabraham.kartra.com/page/stateofwomenconference

Let's clear something up: confidence isn't just something you're born with—it's something you build. In this episode, we explore why confidence is less about personality and more about practice. Drawing on personal experiences, relatable analogies, and the skills they call "confidence companions," we break down how confidence is shaped by our habits, our self-awareness, and the small, daily choices we make. Whether you're in a confidence slump or just want to deepen your self-trust, this episode is full of perspective-shifting takeaways that will help you flex that confidence muscle with more ease and intention.
