In this episode we talk the controversy over neighboring DC residents walking their dogs on Howard University’s “Yard.” We talk about Spike Lee’s new Netflix series and Beyonce’s Homecoming documentary coming to Netflix. We discuss what we’re reading and/or watching and we revisit the movie The Goonies and talk about how relevant it is today and how well it aged.

We're back! We vented a little bit about Trump supporters. We discussed things that we've been watching and reading. We discussed how we felt about the Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse movie. And for our throwback we talked the movie Set If Off and discussed how it's still relevant today. And as usual we wandered off topic...alot.

In our fifteenth episode we have a brief discussion on quinceaneras which kind of went south.  We discus our reactions to the Defenders Netflix series.  We also go into a discussion of the classic movies Imitation of Life (the black and white and the technicolor version).  

In this episode we question why Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben aren't considered chefs. We then move on to the shenanigans also known as the United the Right protest. We talk about a program that's being developed called Black America. Then we move on to more fun topics like Girl's Trip with full spoilers, the Proud Mary trailer and the Defenders first impression based on episode one. We also talk about Joi "SJ" Harris who was a stunt rider who died while filming a stunt for Deadpool 2.

In this episode we give our first impressions of the movie Girl's Trip.  We talk about the trailers that were recently released: Life is Strange season 2, A Stitch in Time and Ready Player One.  We also talked about the first female Doctor Who and the response that she has gotten.  We also recapped Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist in preparation of the Netflix show Defenders.  

R.I.P. to Russell Tolsen and Nelsan Ellis. In this episode we talked about our experiences at the first annual Blerdcon and the panels that we attended. I attended a panel on kink, safe spaces for black female nerds and a Harada Hates Tekken panel. Jennifer discusses the panels she went to on sewing and costume making. We finished watching GLOW and we give our impressions. We finish up with a discussion of The Handmaid's Tale (the book, not the show).

We finally have music! We briefly discus the new series GLOW. Since it's been a couple weeks we finally have a full discussion about Wonder Woman. After agonizing for weeks we finally got through the rest of Iron Fist and we discussed that. We also saw All Eyez on Me and we review that with full spoilers (as if you don't know how it ends).

We discus Standing Rock, Harumbe. And movies that we are planing to see in the near future: Beauty and the Beast, Logan, Fifty Shades Darker.
