We do not edit students’ work but educate them on the nuances ofthe composition process in the context of their own writing. In addition, WCNYC sets out tohelp students with a myriad of writing needs, from brainstorming to revision and citations andin a variety of disciplines. Our well-prepared peer and faculty tutors apply a responsive teachingmethod and Minimalist, hands-off approach to tutoring writing needs in any discipline andare trained to work with both native and non-native speakers of English. In order to best servestudents and faculty, we adhere strictly to the standards and practices of Pace University andthe global principles of the Modern Language Association (MLA) and American PsychologyAssociation (APA).
