Welcome to a new episode of the Geektown Behind The Scenes podcast. This week, I’m chatting with Natalie Bronfman, costume designer on 'The Handmaid's Tale' Season 3, Quibi series 'Most Dangerous Game' starring Liam Hemsworth & Christoph Waltz, and Season 2 of Steven Knight's brilliant Apple drama 'See' starring Jason Momoa.Along with those shows, Natalie has previously worked on 'Alias Grace' (also by Handmaid's author Margaret Atwood), mini-series '11.22.63', Netflix's 'Hemlock Grove', and 'Transporter: The Series'. She also worked on the 2013 film 'Carrie', the movie 'Jumper' starring Hayden Christensen & Jamie Bell, and 2004 horror 'Dawn of the Dead'.In the interview, we discuss stepping up to take over the reins of Handmaid's from original designer Ane Crabtree, just as the number of costumes on the drama grew by an extraordinary amount! We also chat about some of the amazingly sharp suits she created from scratch for 'Most Dangerous Game', and joining the unique drama 'See', where she has to design clothes for blind characters in a post-apocalyptic world... again, just at a point where the number of costumes expanded by an extraordinary amount! If you'd like to hear more behind the scenes interviews, don't forget to subscribe to where ever you get your podcasts by searching for "Geektown Radio". This will also give you our weekly Geektown Radio podcast which brings you all the latest tv, film and gaming news. Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/geektown.
