Episode 122, Whitney Freya, Unstoppable, embracing our capacity to expand our horizons Host Christine Pensa welcomed guest author and creative Whitney Freya to talk about our expanding human capacity to be unstoppable. The episode was taped on the day the paperback version of Whitney's new book, 30 Days to Unstoppable, Be the Dream Made Visible, launched.  The book sprang from a channeled teaching. That teaching, Whitney shared; "Is a call for humanity to pick up a new way of being and caring for ourselves—because everything begins as energy first, then manifests as matter. Therefore, we can learn to care for ourselves, to create, to energetically imagine into what it is we want to experience in our lives, and matter has to follow that energy." Her book is a meditative tool to help you activate and embrace that capacity in your own life stream. The conversation turned to how to cultivate self trust in spite of our very human feelings of uncertainty that often rise up. As Whitney shared, when we honour the knowing that we intentionally chose to be physicalized on this planet in this moment, when we honour that we are infinite beings, we can open to receive as the union of physical and spiritual. We can become the portal through which life is created. From this power point springs innumerable creative solutions. Whitney explained how she got to the place where she could integrate both aspects of the self. "As I understood that I could live in a world based in energy, or a world based in matter that was the threshold for me and I realized everything is energy." She says, that realization helped her to understand who she was—opening an exciting new paradigm for her to rebuild herself and her life experience.  After that self knowing dropped in, all her decisions became based on what was in alignment with what she wanted to expand. "I began to understand that if I kept my vibration high and came from that place—then everything was going to work out." Whitney on sacred self care: Taking care of yourself and being centered in yourself is the most powerful thing you can do to co-create heaven on Earth. When you take care of your wellness it expands out from your being and it will always expand outward all around you. https://awakenedwomanselfcare.com/ https://whitneyfreya.com/

The 'Low Carb Athlete' Health Building Podcast Interview Today my guest is another FDNP mentor, Whitney Morgan, who is one of my go to practitioners for questions on complex health building investigations. WHAT IS YOUR STORY…WHAT IS YOUR WHY? WHAT IS YOUR PASSION, PURPOSE AND MISSION. Whitney:  I struggled with my health for 20 years before receiving my celiac diagnosis and by that time I had collected three autoimmune diseases. Traditional medicine had little to offer me beyond symptom alleviation. And so I decided to study Chinese medicine and Functional Nutrition. I used my knowledge to transform my own health and I was inspired to help other women do the same. My passion is to help women avoid the years of struggle that I endured and teach my clients how to dominate their gluten-free lives. Today we discuss: What's so bad about wheat & gluten? Why does there seem to be more gluten sensitivity these days than in the past? Who should be tested for wheat and gluten sensitivity? Is testing really necessary? Can't someone just try a gluten-free diet and see if they feel better? Check out Whitney's new Gluten Gauntlet Mini-course. An online 5-week program that walks you through each stage of creating a gluten-free house! You can access the first week's lesson for free! And then use promo code: LCA50 to receive $50 off the full purchase price. This course is evergreen. You can move at your own pace and even binge the whole thing! Use Whitney's Linktr.ee link below to register. https://linktr.ee/morgannutrition Whitney Morgan, founder of Morgan Nutrition and creator of the Gluten Gauntlet System, is a gluten-free warrior and fierce functional health coach. She helps women repair the damage that years of gluten exposure have done to their health. In almost a decade of working with gluten-sensitive and celiac clients, Whitney's seen firsthand that reversing, and even healing, your gluten-related disorder requires much more than just going gluten-free. As Whitney likes to say, "going gluten-free is like putting out the fire when your house is burning down. It's the obvious first step, but you're left with a whole lot of damage when the smoke clears." In addition to her role as the guru of all-things-gluten, Whitney spends much of her professional time advising other health coaches and functional medicine practitioners how to deal with complex client cases. Whitney's not-so-secret obsessions are puppies, politics, and true-crime.   LINKS: Website:  https://www.morgannutrition.com/welcome  Linktr.ee link to all resources: https://linktr.ee/morgannutrition Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/morgannutrition/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/morgannutrition24/ YouTube:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFT_ackL2_KfYd-RJXosS2A?sub_confirmation=1   Debbie Potts Health & Fitness Coach, Author, Speaker & Podcaster Host of ‘The Low Carb Athlete' Health Building Podcast Creator of ‘The WHOLESTIC Method' Coaching Program FNTP, FDNP, NASM CPT, CHEK HLC, Kion Coach BURN FAT. Whitney Moore is witty, creative, smart, and an overachiever. She is someone who strives to be the best, but struggles with perfectionism. Whitney believes that her overachievement mentality is a direct result of experiencing significant trauma. As a child she was severely neglected enduring years of emotional and physical abuse from her stepfather. After Whitney turned 18, she went on to attend Virginia Tech in hopes to start a new life away from her family. Unfortunately, she was present on the day of the 2007 mass shooting. From the distress of the shooting Whitney felt even more internal pressure to perform, perfect, and overachieve. As Whitney grew older, she realized that her intuition and instinctual ability became stronger, specifically when meeting new people. Whitney believes that from her trauma she can sense integrity and manipulation quickly. Today Whitney is learning how to to heal, forgive, and live a life where she doesn't have to prove herself to the world in order to receive love.

Two words repeatedly used during 2016 election coverage stung Whitney Stafford with truth and clarity: “gaslighting” and “bully.” Whitney’s Seen List reveals a history of being bullied by her brother, ignored by her family, and only recently having a conversation with her Trump-supporting father in which she felt acknowledged and seen. Whitney Wilson manages the Domestic Violence Court Referral Program at The John Howard Society. When a person is charged with domestic violence, they might attend a program run by her to help them challenge their attitudes and behaviours. So what causes domestic violence? As Whitney explains, it has to do with upbringing but also the way society strictly defines masculinity. Most domestic violence offenders are male and, as she explains with eloquence, men don’t think they’re allowed to express negative emotions, aside from anger. As Whitney reveals, anger is a secondary emotion, it’s driven by something else. This is a fascinating analysis of how social constructs can factor into violence. It’s not all heavy. Hear the rehabilitative tactics Whitney uses to help clients amp up their empathy and unearth a deeper sense of what it means to “be a man”.   The theme song is Take Me Now by Nick Chapman. Edited for time and volume. http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Nick_Chapman/Wakka_Chikka_Wakka_Chikka_Volume_1/csr049_wcwc_01-nick-chapman_take-me-now

Good evening folks! Whitney and I are back with episode 6 of Within the Trenches. This week was a little different for us in the sense that we were pretty slap happy up until the beginning of the show. Crystal and Jen, of Ottawa County Central Dispatch Authority, joined us to tell their story and experience in 9-1-1. All four of us work the night shift and for Whitney and I, we worked from 4:30 p.m. – 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. As for Crystal and Jen, they both worked from 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. so we had a few hours to kill after our shift. As you can tell we are all crazy for staying up but for anyone who works night shift you have to be just a little crazy to do what we do and work the hours we work. As Whitney and I waited for them to arrive we worked on our mic checks and I wish I would have kept the recording for bloopers because we were so out of it from lack of sleep that we began to sing and display our beatbox abilities. The entire episode was a great experience and getting the chance to meet those from a neighboring dispatch center really helped us understand why they do certain things. One of the funny things we had to find out was why they never use their first name when answering the phone. It made for an ongoing joke and continued the relaxed yet informative feel of the show. Thank you once again to Crystal and Jen for joining us and I hope everyone enjoys this episode.
