Recorded on location outside at Beau's Brewery located in Vankleek Hill, Ontario, Canada, with me Chad Vice, my sometimes co-host good buddy Fred and we spoke to the head brewmaster at Beau's, Kevin James (the funny one!) about the beer, the history of Beau's, how it expanded from it's beginnings, and where the brand is headed for the future. We sat out on the patio and chilled with some of their Raddler brews and got a nice chat in, which is this week's podcast episode. Don't mind the background noise of folks having fun on the patio! In this episode Tristan is still very much in recovery mode from a weekend of Westward Festival. He's a frail shell of himself- even more than usual. Meanwhile Mick is almost completely off the sauce to the point were even looking at a beer gets him slightly buzzed. So sure lets try some brews this should go well. We check out Back Country Brewing from Squamish and head all the way to Ontario to try Beau's Brewery. Our album introspective is the scathing and sinister trip hop noir self titled album Portishead. In it we examine the themes of how consumerism and capitalism can pervert the nature of art. And speaking of consumerism, Tristan made Mick watch a Tom Cruise movie! We watched the time looping 2014 flick Edge Of Tomorrow and did not hate it. New and noteworthy music from Com Truise (not a typo), Yves Tumor (still spelling it right), Blood Orange and Cloud Nothings. Workplace Evolved is a weekly podcast series about workplace evolution, innovation and forward thinking practices with some of the best and brightest here in Canada and beyond. We uncover the raw, the real and the information you need to stay informed and engaged. This month we're talking about Corporate Culture and how to define what that is, where it's going and what companies can do to improve or create that culture in and outside the workplace. We were fortunate enough to chat with Steve Beauchesne at Beau's Brewery in Vankleek Hill to get his perspective on what the term corporate culture means for them.
Voici notre passage chez Beau's Brewery pour leur 10ième anniversaire. On discute de leurs nouvelles bières et de leurs nouveaux projets!
This is the twenty-second episode of Hack To Start. Your hosts, Franco Varriano (on Twitter @ FrancoVarriano) and Tyler Copeland (on Twitter @ TylerCopeland), speak with Steve Beauchesne (on Twitter @ BeausAllNatural), the co-founder and chief tasting officer at Beau's All Natural Brewing Company. Steve has been an entrepreneur since he was a kid. He started his own record label before opening Beau's Brewery with his dad. He shares the challenges of starting a craft brewery, how culture and values have been the foundation of their brand, and how borrowing marketing tactics from the music industry has turned Beau's beer into a smash hit.
We joined Tim and Steve Beauchesne from Beau's Brewery to talk about all things from the starting of Beau's, Oktoberfest and to the future! Music by Andrew Vincent.
