Rocky Jordan was the owner of the Cafe Tambourine and was the main character in a radio series featuring a more exotic background than found in other radio detective series, first in Istanbul and later in Cairo. Rocky himself is a bit of a mystery.  We're never given much information about his background except he was originally from St. Louis and lived in Seattle, New Orleans, Boston, and Chicago.  For some reason, he can't return to the United States, but we never find out why.
